i am selling my 2002 Nissan Sentra SER Spec-V 6-speed manual with only 38k Original Miles. I have recently purchased and EVO and need the money for my down payment by friday so this will be a quick sale. I am open to offers and negotiation.

Modifications:
-AEM Cold Air Intake
-Slickboy Headers
-Full Greddy Exhaust
-Aluminum Crank Pulley
-Apexi SAFC 2 Tuner (only reads sensor values, the tuning doesnt work, needs to be properly hooked up)
-AfterMarket Sway Bars
-AfterMarket coilovers (Lowered)
-Drilled/slotted rotors
-2 Sparco 2000 Pro seats (need to be cleaned)
-Momo Italy Steering wheel
-Sparco Pedals
-Short throw shifter (Not installed)
-JWT camshafts and valve springs (not installed, never been used)
-After market hood, rear bumper and side skirt
- Front end has brand new front bumper to replace the aftermarket one ( just painted, looks great!)
-New headlights
-Oil pressure, A/f ratio and boost gauge ( all hooked up but just for show)
-Comes with 2 panasonic t.v.'s and dvd player that i removed when i bought the car.
-Head unit worked when i got the car but doesnt power up now ( i was told it has a blown fuse somewhere)
-Electronic Lambo Doors (worked when i got the car not now, i was told blown fuse somewhere)
-Custom fiberglass sub enclosure
-Car is wired up for subs, just needs amp and subs, you can see where all  the wiring goes to the amp location in the back seat
-Sub capacitor
-Rims (basic cheap rims)
-carbon fiber spoiler( very nice)
-very stiff suspension set up for the track

Im sure i am forgetting something

The Bad:

-Car has no back seat due to a roll cage that was installed but has been removed, all the hardware is there and just needs a seat to clip in.
-The heat only works on full blast and only directed at the vents facing you (works great though)
-A/c has been removed
-one side skirt is missing but the stock ones are still on the car so you can buy another after market one or just take the remaining one off and use the stock ones that are already installed
-Rear bumpers has various scratches
-the driver side door was down to far when the lambo doors blew a fuse so the door sags a bit and u have to lift up to close it.
-Hood has scratches that need to be filled

Again This car only has 38,000 Original miles on it and has sooo much potential to be a daily driver or turn into your race car. The Car has nothing mechanically wrong with it and it runs strong.

Tesla exec calls rival EVs 'little more than appliances'

Wed, Aug 3 2016

Tesla's Vice President of Business Development Diarmuid O'Connell called the company's competition "little more than appliances" at the Center for Automotive Research's Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, MI yesterday. "In essence, [mainstream automakers] delivered little more than appliances," O' Connell said. "Now, appliances are useful. But they tend to be white. They tend to be unemotional." According to Automotive News, O'Connell's main critique is that vehicles like the Nissan Leaf and BMW i3 don't deliver enough performance or range to draw the attention of consumers outside of a small group. The solution, in O'Connell's mind, is more power, more range, more excitement and a lower price – that last point is particularly rich coming from an automaker whose cheapest current offering, the Model S 60, costs $66,000 – although the cheaper Model 3 is on the horizon, way out there, somewhere. But some EVs are better than none, O'Connell added. "On balance, I'm happier that [traditional automakers are] doing these cars than not," O'Connell said. "I just wish they would do them better and faster." O'Connell also used his appearance at the Management Briefing Seminars to launch a volley at the Michigan legislature, blaming its opposition to Tesla's direct-sales model for the lack of available EVs in the Wolverine State. "I think if the Michigan Legislature would allow Tesla to sell cars in Michigan, we could probably address [the lack of available electric cars]," O'Connell said. Related Video:

Nissan union wants French to stop meddling with Renault alliance

Thu, Dec 3 2015

Nissan is getting some unexpected reinforcements in its ongoing battle with the French government over its involvement in Renault. Its Japanese union, which has traditionally been a very hands-off entity, issued harsh criticism for the French government's attempts to assert control over its alliance partner. According to Bloomberg, this is the first time in 16 years that Nissan's union has weighed on the company's affairs, and it's stating its position on the matter in no uncertain terms. The union called France's attempt at scoring double voting rights within Renault "unacceptable and against the intended spirit of the Alliance." "We support the numerous attempts of Nissan to engage with the French government to find a balanced and constructive solution that will benefit and strengthen the Alliance," the union said in a statement obtained by Reuters. It's unclear what impact the union speaking out will have on the current power struggle between Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn (shown above) and the French government, but we doubt it'll contribute to any quicker of a conclusion. Is the Chevy Camaro Z/28 a Godzilla Slayer at the track?

Sat, 29 Mar 2014

Godzilla. It's a name that strikes fear in the minds and hearts of giant monsters (Mothra!) worldwide, not to mention a number of automobile manufacturers that produce high-performance coupes... including Chevrolet. The Bowtie-cladded company has one rather obvious model that lines up squarely in the sights of the Nissan GT-R, that being the Corvette.
Interestingly, though, Chevy's halo coupe isn't the vehicle the boys from Motor Trend decided to match up at Barber Motorsports Park against the Japanese Godzilla, opting instead for the brand-new Camaro Z/28. A glance at the spec sheet of the Z/28 clears up any consternation regarding MT's choice - more horsepower for the Nissan, more torque for the Chevy and roughly the same weight means they are on pretty equal ground when it comes to what's under the hood.
The rest of the spec sheet looks to tilt the argument in the GT-R's favor (especially considering that MT's test car is a Track Edition model), as it boasts all-wheel-drive traction, a quick-shifting six-speed dual-clutch transmission and a price tag that's about $40,000 higher than that of the Z/28. Oh, and don't forget the GT-R's legendary computer-controlled reflexes. Does any of that matter with a professional race car driver like Randy Pobst behind the wheel? Scroll down and watch the video to find out.
