IT'S SUPER-RELIABLE, HAS A CARFAX FROM FEBRUARY, (you can buy a new one if you want) AND HAS ENDED UP AS ONE OF THE MOST RELIABLE CARS WE'VE EVER OWNED.

I ASSUME THERE WILL BE SOME TEST-DRIVES, SO THE MILES MIGHT BE MORE, BUT NOT SIGNIFICANTLY...

I JUST REALLY NEED THIS SOLD, AND I KNOW IT'S NOT REALLY WORTH SHIPPING ANYWHERE, SO IF ANYBODY IS IN THE AREA, COME ON BY!!!
I HAVE A CLEAN AND CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE IN MY NAME... IF YOU NEED ME TO FILL OUT ANY STATE DMV PAPERWORK, I'LL DO WHAT I CAN...

 PROS:

-I HAVE THE ORIGINAL OWNER'S MANUAL, AND A SPARE HUBCAP

 CONS:
* A/C IS COOL, NOT COLD, IN THE HOTTEST PART OF THE DAY; I WOULD GIVE IT A B- or C+AS FAR AS "COLD" GOES, BUT IT DOES WORK
* THE WINDOW SWIPES ARE RUSTING (SEE PICTURES)
* THE SEATBELT WARNING LIGHT RANDOMLY TURNS ON AND OFF

I JUST RETIRED FROM THE MILITARY AND MOVED HERE, AND I LITERALLY DON'T HAVE THE SPACE FOR IT.

North Carolina now charging $100-per-year EV road-use fee

Wed, Jan 15 2014

Tobacco Road just got a little more expensive for drivers of electric vehicles such as the Nissan Leaf and Tesla Model S. This year, North Carolina started instituting an annual $100 road-use fee for electric-vehicle drivers in order to close at least a little of the budgetary shortfall for road maintenance in the Tar Heel State, the News Observer reports. North Carolina legislators failed to green-light a hybrid-vehicle fee of $50 a year, which may have made a little more of a dent in the state's road funding. As it is, about 1,600 EVs are registered in North Carolina, meaning that the state will collect about $160,000 in such fees this year. And while some in the state are concerned that the fee could hurt EV adoption, others say it's fair because of the $7,500 in federal tax credits EV buyers get. Oh, and the fact that EV drivers don't pay gasoline taxes. Either way, the fees are a proverbial drop in the bucket, as North Carolina's transportation shortfall is estimated to average about $2 billion a year during the next three decades or so. Other states are starting to charge EV drivers a road-use fee as well. Last February, Washington State began instituting its own electric-vehicle fee of $100 per annum, and a number of other states are considering similar policies. Nissan's purchase of Mitsubishi is officially official

Thu, Oct 20 2016

After the company's announcement in May, the Nissan's purchase of a 34 percent stake in Mitsubishi is now official. The deal cost Nissan $2.3 billion, according to the Wall Street Journal, and brings Mitsubishi into the Nissan-Renault Alliance. The company explained that this new partnership will manifest itself in shared vehicle platforms and technology, joint purchasing, and shared manufacturing. Nissan also said that this purchase will make the company one of the three largest companies by volume in the world. Nissan also emphasized that Mitsubishi will very much be a partner in the current alliance with Renault. In addition, Carlos Ghosn, CEO of both Nissan and Renault, has been nominated to be the new chairman of the Mitsubishi board. With Ghosn at the head of the board, current Mitsubishi president and CEO, Osamu Masuko, will remain in his positions but Nissan's current chief competitive officer will join Masuko as co-chief executive officer at Mitsubishi. With these companies now working together, we'll probably start seeing more commonality between Nissan and Mitsubishi products here in the States. It would also be a great opportunity to get some of Mitsubishi's cooler products here. Perhaps Mitsubishi and Nissan will take our hint about the Delica. This article has been revised to clarify that Nissan Motors purchased the stake in Mitsubishi, not the Nissan-Renault Alliance, and to add the value of the purchase. Nissan Rogue gives brand rare monthly sales lead over Honda

Tue, 04 Feb 2014

The five top-selling brands in the automotive industry are usually Ford, Toyota, Chevy, Honda and Nissan, in that order. This lineup emerged intact when counting a year's worth of sales for 2013, and there was no reason to expect it would change at the beginning of 2014. But it did. Thanks to surging sales of its all-new Rogue, Nissan managed to pull ahead of Honda to become the fourth best-selling auto brand in January 2014, selling 81,472 units (an increase of 10.41 percent compared to January 2013) to Honda's 80,808 (a decrease of 3.96 percent).
The Rogue led the way for Nissan, contributing an additional 4,880 units in January compared to the same month last year - a 54.5-percent increase for a grand total of 13,831 units. But the Rogue had help, with the Frontier pickup adding an extra 2,307 units (an 87.9-percent increase), the Juke an extra 1,081 units (a 45.8-percent increase), the Altima an extra 1,051 units (a 4.9-percent increase) and the Maxima an additional 983 units (a 32.9-percent increase). Honda, meanwhile, was hurt by falling sales of the Accord (down 13.9 percent) and Pilot (down 7.6 percent), and stagnant sales of the Civic.
Honda, however, should take pride in the fact that it's luxury division, Acura, outsold Infiniti, Nissan's luxury division, last month - 10,823 units sold to 8,998. That margin of victory was large enough to keep the parent company of American Honda ahead of Nissan North America for the month of January.
