This is an extremely well-optioned minivan, with leather, navigation, dual zone climate control, dual power seats, heated seats, airbags, ABS, traction control, alloy wheels, power sliding door, power rear liftgate, rear AC, CD changer, DVD system, power-adjustable pedals, and a host of other features. This is a turnkey car. There are no check-engine or any other service lights on, and it has all its original manuals. Car was originally sold new in Canada, so the speedometer has a larger display for Kph and smaller for Mph, and the odometer is in Km. - just figured it was worth mentioning. The A/C is cold, the car runs and drives fine, it's loaded with tons of options, there are no warning lights / maintenance indicators / check engine lights or anything like that, tires have good tread and are fairly new. It could use a good cleaning just like every other minivan out there that's been exposed to kids and has a few blemishes as you can see by the photos. All books and manuals are still with the car and the title is clear without any liens. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at any time. I am open to reasonable cash offers as well.   photo aNissanQuest060.jpg photo aNissanQuest062.jpg photo aNissanQuest063.jpg photo aNissanQuest064.jpg photo aNissanQuest065.jpg photo aNissanQuest067.jpg photo aNissanQuest069.jpg photo aNissanQuest071.jpg photo aNissanQuest072.jpg photo aNissanQuest059.jpg photo aNissanQuest058.jpg photo aNissanQuest077.jpg photo aNissanQuest076.jpg photo aNissanQuest004.jpg photo aNissanQuest005.jpg photo aNissanQuest007.jpg photo aNissanQuest011.jpg photo aNissanQuest012.jpg photo aNissanQuest013.jpg photo aNissanQuest015.jpg photo aNissanQuest016.jpg photo aNissanQuest017.jpg photo aNissanQuest018.jpg photo aNissanQuest019.jpg photo aNissanQuest020.jpg photo aNissanQuest021.jpg photo aNissanQuest022.jpg photo aNissanQuest023.jpg photo aNissanQuest025.jpg photo aNissanQuest029.jpg photo aNissanQuest030.jpg photo aNissanQuest031.jpg photo aNissanQuest096.jpg photo aNissanQuest097.jpg photo aNissanQuest099.jpg photo aNissanQuest100.jpg photo aNissanQuest102.jpg photo aNissanQuest104.jpg

2014 Nissan Leaf price climbs $180 to $28,980*, Ghosn predicts sales doubling

Wed, Jan 8 2014

A year ago, Nissan changed the fortunes of its all-electric Leaf in the US market by lopping a serious $6,400 off of the price. The entry-level 2012 Leaf started at $35,200, and the 2013 Leaf S instantly became a much better deal since it started at $28,800. For 2014, the trend is in the opposite direction, but only just. The 2014 Leaf S will start at $28,980. The other two trim levels will start at $32,000 for the SV and $35,020 for the SL. Oh well, we can't get a $6k drop every year, can we? What do you get for your extra $180? Well, as described in July, the 2014 model has the rear camera as standard and there is an available voice command navigation system and text message reader. We've got the full specification breakdown and pricing press release below. We doubt the small extra cost will do much to dent the Leaf's current sales upswing. December 2013 was the EV's best sales month ever, and a grand total of 22,610 units in 2013. That's more EVs than Nissan sold in 2011 and 2012 put together. Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn said earlier today that he thinks US Leaf sales will double, but didn't say when. "We are now on a trend of 3,000 cars a month in the US, which is about 36,000 cars" a year, Ghosn told Automotive News. "The next step is moving up to 4,000 a month, which is going to be approximately 50,000." The prices listed above do not include Nissan's $850 destination fee, but all Leaf EVs can qualify for the $7,500 federal income tax credit, as well as state and local incentives in some areas. NISSAN ANNOUNCES U.S. PRICING FOR 2014 LEAF™ NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 8, 2014) – Nissan today announced U.S. pricing for the 2014 Nissan LEAF™, which is on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide. The 100 percent electric LEAF continues to offer outstanding value, with prices comparable to similar gasoline-powered vehicles after applicable tax credits. Sales of the zero emission LEAF in the U.S. and around the world set all-time records in 2013. The 2014 Nissan LEAF is available in three trim levels: LEAF S, SV and SL, along with option packages offering advanced systems such as Around View® Monitor and 7-speaker Bose® audio. Enhancements for 2014 include the addition of the RearView Monitor as standard equipment on all models (previously part of the Charge Package) and one new exterior color – Gun Metallic (seven total available colors).

If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It
Look at the 2013 Nissan Leaf - even one parked next to a 2012 model - and you'll be hard-pressed to spot the differences. Changes and updates have been made, but you have to know the details to tell. It's sort of like listening to a hipster tell you why Interpol and The National have completely different sounds.
Nissan says it didn't reinvent the Leaf because what the company has created is working. Over 25,000 Leafs have been sold in the US - 62,000 around the world - since the car went on sale in late 2010. That may not sound like a lot, but it's heads and shoulders above any other all-electric car available anywhere. The car has its detractors - boy, does it ever - but Nissan knows it's hard to argue with real-world success.

Nissan Leaf resale value expected to take a hit

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

Nissan Leaf resale values may take a tumble, according to Kelley Blue Book. The vehicle evaluation resource said the 2013 Nissan Leaf will retain around 35 percent of its MSRP after three years; that's down five percent from what KBB gave the 2012 Leaf at the end of 2011. Automotive News reports KBB adjusted the EV's residual value prediction because the used transaction prices for the 2011 model have stuck around 35 percent for the past few months due to relatively cheap gasoline, not to mention the fact that Nissan trimmed the electric's MSRP from $36,050 to $29,650 before the $7,500 tax credit.
Since used buyers are often motivated by more practical buying concerns than early adopters or those wanting to curb their carbon emissions, they may not be willing to pay more for an EV. Meanwhile, early Leaf models are now coming to auction, abandoned by rental car companies after customers shunned them in favor of traditional internal-combustion vehicles. Many of those at auction have less than 10,000 miles and carry an average transaction price of just $13,700.
