**nissan Pathfinder Se, Cpo, Keyless, Dvd, Bose, Rearview Cam Loaded** on 2040-cars
Miami, Florida, United States
For sale is my 2010 Nissan Pathfinder SE. It was a fantastic truck, but I live downtown now and its more vehicle than I need.
The pathfinder seats 7 comfortably and I have averaged 18+ on my commute with nearly 22mpg highway. By way of utility and comfort it is unmatched. The chassis and suspension feel right at home or can be taken off road with confidence. It is uncanny and I will miss it for that. This truck was purchased with CPO warranty till 100k miles from Auto Nation Nissan in Miami, FL, and features keyless entry, keyless ignition, BOSE sound with rearview camera, rear seat DVD entertainment system, 3rd row seating, tow package and more. Seats are cloth, steering wheel is leather. Clean title, no accidents, 2nd owner, carfax in hand. If you have questions please ask before bidding. This is a solid truck and you will be very happy. Perfect for anyone with a family and/or work. I require a deposit within 48 hours, and payment in full within 4 business days. I prefer payment by wire transfer. Buyer arranges and pays for shipping and taxes/registraition/title separately. I can assist as needed to schedule with a shipper, should one be needed. |

2014 Nissan 370Z pricing announced, MSRP reduced by $3,000
Fri, 26 Jul 2013Nissan is up to something. The company announced pricing for the 2014 Nissan 370Z, 370Z Nismo, and 370Z Roadster, which isn't out of the ordinary. What is, is that the standard, hardtop 370Z has received a $3,130 reduction in price for 2014. The upmarket Touring model, meanwhile, has been dropped $2,550.
That means, excluding the $790 for destination and handling, a base, six-speed manual 370Z is only $29,990. That is an excellent deal. Adding an automatic will bump the price to $31,290, while the Touring model starts at $35,270 for DIY shifters and $36,570 for autos. The top-of-the-range Nismo runs $43,020. The Roadster, meanwhile, starts at $41,470.
So what does this mean in the grand scheme? Automakers don't just slash $3,000 off the price of a desirable sportscar because they're feeling generous.Could this be a move to clear out stock before a replacement to the current Z arrives?
Nissan leaning on JATCO to remedy CVT problems
Mon, 02 Dec 2013Nissan's decision to fit continuously variable transmissions across even more of its new models may be coming back to bite the Japanese automaker, as it's been hampered by customer satisfaction issues relating to its XTronic CVTs, which are provided by a supplier called JATCO.
From what we're understanding, the issue largely relates to customers' unfamiliarity with the non-traditional shift nature of a CVT. Dealers have reported complaints and service visits from owners over the belt-driven automatics (did these people not test drive the cars before they bought them and notice that they don't shift conventionally?).
The company, which Nissan owns 75 percent of, has come under fire from none other than Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn, who's spoken about JATCO and its troubles rather openly. "Every time you launch a new CVT you always have some risks," Ghosn said in an interview with Automotive News. "So we now have a process by which, before we launch any new CVT, [JATCO] come before the Nissan executive committee to explain all the measures they have taken to make sure there are no surprises."
Nissan ZEOD RC on track and from behind the wheel
Wed, 17 Sep 2014The Nissan ZEOD RC hybrid racecar has had mixed success in its competition life. It was invented to do a completely electric, high-speed lap at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which it was able to do in practice. However, when the big event actually came, the car lasted less than an hour before it had to bow out with transmission issues. Nissan hasn't completely given up on its experiment, though. The experience (and possibly some of the tech) is going to help with the GT-R LM racer next year, and now the ZEOD is getting its chance to see how it handles the Top Gear test track.
Unfortunately, it's not The Stig piloting the ZEOD; instead, the magazine's motoring editor Ollie Marriage is the lucky man for the job. The car's sharp shape seems to be a good metaphor for how it handles because it just seems to dart around the track. Its tiny, turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with 400 horsepower and two electric motors put out a claimed 750 horsepower, and that seems like plenty for the relatively short Top Gear course.
As usual of Top Gear, the cinematography here is fantastic, and a second video shows off a single lap of the course from around the car. It's amazing to watch, especially with its big screen constantly showing the camera view out of the rear. Scroll down to see both.
