Nice project truck. Bad motor. Truck is in pretty good shape for its age. Theres a spot of rust over the drivers side rear wheel well. Cab is rust free. Frame is also Rust free. It has a set of yokohama geolander 31" tires that are in great shape mounted on aluminum aftermarket rims. Rims have a little wear but look good. If I had to estimate the tires are at about 80%. ($800 new). Truck drove and shifted fine. 4wd works fine. Motor has a bad knock. Will make a nice truck when done. Lots of newer parts like starter, mass airflow sensor, alternator, etc. Cons BAD MOTOR, No headliner, No radio, seat has minor wear, bedliner is cut. Truck runs and drives to go on a trailer but cannot be driven home. Payment: $200 deposit at end of auction. Balance due within 5 days. Jay Leno checks out Nissan IDx Nismo, spiritual successor to classic Datsun 510
Mon, 10 Mar 2014Jay Leno may not be spending his night behind the Tonight Show desk anymore, but he's clearly not done rolling precious metal into his garage, intent on putting it through its paces after a thorough investigation. The latest machine to meet Jay on his home turf is the Nissan IDx Nismo Concept that we first saw at the Tokyo Motor Show late last year.
Leno already has love for the classic Datsun 510, which plays a cameo in the video that you'll see below, and he refers to the IDx as the spiritual successor to that car's ethos - driving fun in an affordable package. Fortunately for us, while the IDx is a showcar first and foremost, it is indeed driveable, and Leno, naturally, takes his turn behind the wheel.

Nissan Qashqai caught looking sleek
Wed, 03 Jul 2013The next-generation of the not-for-US-consumption Nissan Qashqai has been out doing some testing in southern Europe this week. And, if the dressed-in-trash-bags look is any indication, it's been doing a lot of roadwork so it can make weight for the big meet the weekend.
Nissan designers haven't been scared to take big design chances with recent new models, so expectations are that the Qashqai crossover will get a bold new visage for its generational changeover. What we see in these photos indicates a sleeker, slightly trimmer CUV however, with no trace of the bug-eyed look we captured recently on a testing Titan.
In the rest of the world, it's a good bet that the Qashqai will be powered by engines ranging from a 1.2-liter turbo up to a 1.6-liter forced-induction unit; that larger one good for something like 215 horsepower. Diesel powerplants will be in the mix, too, for the compact CUV, and word is that Nismo might get its hands on this Rogue cousin for the first time ever.
