We bought this car from a dealer here in Ky where it was traded in to them. We always drive our vehicles to ensure that they are in good condition, before we sell them. The body on this truck is in great shape, with no dents or dings or excessive wear anywhere, EXCEPT the rust through spot (pictured) on the driver bedside, there is no rust or rot anywhere else, this rust was caused from water and anything else corrosive draining through the drain hole in the bed in the front corner of the floor and draining down on the inside of the rusted through panel. This truck has not been painted on, and has no signs of any kind of collision damage, past or present. There are no rock ships or abuse signs on the vehicle anywhere. Mechanically the truck is in better than average shape as compared to most other trucks like this. Everything runs and works correctly, no sign of any kind of leaks or abuse on the drivetrain, clutch and trans works smoothly, engine runs great, a/c works great, power windows do not work (cause it has manual windows, ha, ha). Radio works, heater works. The tries are at 50%. The headliner is sagging slightly in places, but most of these trucks already have it torn out, this one is in nice clean shape, just slightly sagging in the corners, could be easily fixed. The interior is nice and clean with no rips, tears, or stains. CLEAN TITLE, asking $ 4,400 on the lot, but as a service to our customers, we are offering this car, at NO RESERVE, so bid to buy and bid to win. NADA Book Value of this truck with a Clean Title is $ 5,400, you will see comparable trucks like this on a large carlot for $4,900 to $5,900. The adjusted value for the rust through taken into consideration, would be $ 4,800, since the rust through repair would be around $ 600. We have a shipper that can ship anywhere in the lower 48 states, all we need is your zipcode and we can give you a quote on shipping. We are a small family owned business, with that said, these auctions take time to prepare and maintain, so we try our hardest to describe our vehicles in detail, so as not to waste our time or yours. Nissan Rogue redesigned with three rows for 2014
Tue, 10 Sep 2013Nissan has been on a roll lately, redesigning its core model line with all-new versions of the Altima, Pathfinder, Sentra and Versa Note released this year. But the Japanese automaker wouldn't leave out the Rogue, its second-best-selling model in the US.
Like the Range Rover Sport, Mitsubishi Outlander and Ford Explorer, the second-generation Nissan Rogue has gained an optional third row of seats for seven-passenger capability. Along with the middle and rear rows, the front passenger seat can also be folded flat for the benefit of cargo capacity, and the cabin has been redesigned for an airier look and feel.
Despite the added space inside, the new Rogue is only marginally larger than the model it replaces, with a 0.6-inch longer wheelbase offset by shorter overhangs front and rear. A lower drag coefficient ought to help reduce wind noise and improve fuel consumption as well.
Nissan Pathfinder, Infiniti JX in transmission safety probe
Thu, 05 Sep 2013Nissan may be forced to recall 110,000 Pathfinder and Infiniti JX35 crossovers, due to a number of customer complaints. Consumers report suddenly losing power, with repair facilities blaming the issue on faulty transmission cooler line connections. Both the Pathfinder and JX35 use a continuously variable transmission. As of right now, the only vehicles being investigated are from model year 2013.
Nissan has been cooperating with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, according to a report from Reuters, and it has developed a fix for the affected vehicles. It's not clear whether this will develop into a full-blown recall, as there have been no known cases of injuries or crashes. But with a potential 110,000 vehicles prone to sudden power loss, a recall seems to be a likely outcome.
This map reveals the cleanest vehicles based on location
Thu, Apr 28 2016Naysayers love to point out how dirty the electricity grid mix is when it comes to charging electric vehicles. Curmudgeons are eager to jump into any conversation about EVs to enlighten the lucky listeners about how plug-in cars contribute to pollution, sometimes even throwing in a dash of climate-change denial for good measure. (Thanks, buddy. Pray, tell me more about the plight of oppressed SUV owners.) Unless someone buys an EV just because they think they're cool (which, yeah, they often are), they probably have at least a passable understanding of their environmental pros and cons. As many EV owners are already aware, location has a lot to do with any particular plug-in car's carbon footprint. Still, there's always more to know, and knowledge is not a bad thing, especially if one uses it to do the right thing. That's why this handy-dandy map from Carnegie Mellon University is so interesting. CMU researchers have compiled information about the lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions of various EVs based on where they're charged, as compared to gasoline-powered vehicles. The researchers looked at the Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Volt, and Prius Plug-In Hybrid versus the gasoline-dependent Toyota Prius hybrid and the stop-start-equipped Mazda3 with i-ELOOP and compared grams of CO2 emitted per mile. CMU takes into account the grid mix, ambient temperature, and driving patterns. CMU takes into account the grid mix based on county, as well as ambient temperature and driving patterns in terms of miles traveled on the highway or in the city. For instance, if you drive a Nissan Leaf in urban areas of California, Texas, or Florida, your carbon footprint is lower than it would be if you were driving a standard Toyota Prius. However, if you charge your Leaf in the Midwest or the South, for the most part, you've got a larger carbon footprint than the Prius. If you live in the rural Midwest, you'd probably even be better off driving a Mazda3. Throughout the country, the Chevrolet Volt has a larger carbon footprint than the Toyota Prius, but a smaller one than the Mazda3 in a lot of urban counties in the US. The Prius and Prius Plug-In are relatively equal across the US. Having trouble keeping it straight? That's not surprising. The comparisons between plug-in and gasoline vehicles are much more nuanced than the loudest voices usually let on.
