-The 4x4 works great. -Used as a farm truck for the majority of its life. -Runs good, transmission shifts smooth. - Many new parts have been put on including: flywheel, carb, radiator, starter solenoid, fuel pump, muffler, fuel tank selector valve, - Truck bed is rough from hauling hay, but serviceable. tailgate was removed. -Buyer responsible for shipping or pick up of vehicle within 7 days of the close of the auction. 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year finalists revealed
Tue, Nov 15 2016The finalists for the 2017 North American Car, Truck, and Utility Vehicle of the Year were announced Tuesday at AutoMobility LA ahead of the 2016 LA Auto Show. Approximately 60 judges, including Autoblog's editor-in-chief Mike Austin, evaluated over 40 vehicles and named three models as the finalists in each category. The award for the Utility Vehicle of the Year is new for 2017 and separates SUVs, crossovers, and minivans from pickup trucks. The finalists are: Car of the Year: Chevrolet Bolt Genesis G90 Volvo S90 Truck of the Year: Ford F-Series Super Duty Honda Ridgeline Nissan Titan Utility Vehicle of the Year Chrysler Pacifica Jaguar F-Pace Mazda CX-9 The winners for the 24th annual NACTOY awards will be named on January 9 at the Detroit Auto Show. Nissan bringing 2014 Versa Note to Detroit
Sat, 12 Jan 2013Nissan today confirmed that it will be showing the 2014 Versa Note - not Versa, not Note, but Versa Note - at next week's 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And while we can't see a whole lot from this one teaser image, we're willing to bet that the car looks a lot like this.
All Nissan will tell us at this time is that the Versa Note will have "segment-exclusive technology, outstanding fuel economy, smart packaging and class-leading cargo space." Sounds... class-competitive.
Given how turned-off we are by the second-generation Versa sedan, it'll be interesting to see just what's in store for this Notably more functional version of the affordable compact. Man sells testicle to buy Nissan 370Z
Wed, 27 Nov 2013We aren't entirely sure what's stranger about this story - that a man actually sold a vital piece of his manhood for a car, or that he did it for a Nissan 370Z. That's not to discredit the trusty Fairlady, a car we generally like, but that if we were to do what Mark Parisi did and sell one of his testicles to science, we'd be asking for a helluva lot more than $35,000.
But Parisi did just that, and announced live on CBS' The Doctors (we really can't make this up) that the sale of his nut would go towards the purchase of a Z. According to our friends Down Under (Australia, get your mind out of the gutter), $35K is the going rate for one slightly used testicle, so if you get nothing else from this story, gentlemen, know that you have $70,000 swinging between your legs.
