For sale is a 2003 Nissan Murano SL suv all wheel drive. Truck is blue in
color with tan interior. The truck currently has 129,303 miles on it and
it has the 3.5 liter V6 engine. This is a No Reserve Auction and will sell to the highest bidder!!
Truck needs a new transfer case (what drives the rear wheels) although runs and drives it is noisy and will need to be trailered or towed to prevent additional damage so please don't ask if you can drive it an hour home!!! Was told it needs a new one or this one to be rebuilt. Would not recommend driving it. (I found a transfer case for $750) Don't want to be bothered fixing it so selling cheap the way it is. Starts up and everything else works fine you could drive it a mile or so but would not recommend it. Anyway onto the truck: It has many options so let me try to list them all: Options include: Fog Lamps, Heated Seats, Roof Rack, Rear Wiper, Sunroof, Hitch, Tint, Floor Mats, Steering Wheel Controls, Alloy Wheels, Wheel Sensors, Silver Interior Trim, In Dash 6 disk Cd Player, Bose Stereo, Compass, outside air temp, Power Windows, Power Locks, Keyless entry with Factory Alarm, Dual Airbags, Roof airbags, Side Airbags, Cargo Net and OEM Rear Trunk Liner Mat. The Nissan has been very reliable and has never gave me any problems what so ever until this transfer case issue. Air Conditioning is ice cold and heat is nice and hot. Engine starts right up. Interior is in nice shape and shows well, outside has normal scratches associated with mileage and year. We do not smoke. Rear seats completely fold down. Truck has 2 keys and 1 keyless entry remote. Truck is now paid for and we do have a clear clean title in hand for it ready to transfer over. If I have missed anything please look at the pictures for further details or message me. Also like to disclose that this is a used car and should expect normal wear and tear. We are the second owners of it. Tires are about 60 percent in the front and 70 in the rear. Porsche 911 GT3 dukes it out with MP4-12C on track and GT-R on spectacular roads
Thu, 22 Aug 2013The Porsche 911 GT3 has always been a favorite among auto journalists and car enthusiasts alike, but with the introduction of the new 991-generation GT3, which is the first GT3 with electric power steering and no manual gearbox option, how does it stack up to the competition from McLaren and Nissan?
Evo's Jethro Bovingdon attempts to answer that question by pitting the rear-engine Porsche against the mid-engine McLaren MP4-12C on a racetrack and the front-engine, all-wheel-drive Nissan GT-R on some amazing, twisty European back roads. We won't give away the victor of either comparison, but we will say that, in Evo's test, the McLaren's 141-horsepower advantage doesn't give it as much of an edge over the Porsche on a racetrack as one might think, and the lack of a manual gearbox and the inclusion of electric power steering on the GT3 isn't detrimental to enjoying the car on a back road.

Nissan to expand next-gen Titan with more engines, configurations
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Not much has changed with the Nissan Titan in the decade that it's been on the market, but the 2015 model year could move the needle enough to turn the truck from an "also ran" in the fullsize truck market to more of a contender. Edmunds had the chance to sit down with Pierre Loing, vice president of product and advanced planning and strategy for Nissan North America, who indicated that not only will a new truck be coming for 2015, it is also expected to take a bigger chunk of the truck market currently dominated by Ford and General Motors.
For starters, the article quotes Loing saying that the next-gen Titan could sell 100,000 units, which is almost five times the number of Titans and the same number of Toyota Tundra trucks sold last year. To accomplish this, Nissan is planning to offer a wider number of models (including a regular cab version) and more powertrain options; we're sure this means Nissan is considering offering a V6. The addition of a regular-cab, V6 Titan would also allow this truck to be more competitively priced.
Will that be enough to attract buyers away from the Big Three domestic trucks? We'll just have to wait and see...
Nissan to add Rogue, Murano hybrid around 2015
Sun, 25 Aug 2013Except for the limited-production, Toyota-assisted Altima Hybrid, Nissan has pretty much shied away from hybrid vehicles, but that is all about to change. As a part of a plan to launch a total of 15 electrified vehicles by 2016, Nissan is launching the Pathfinder Hybrid, which goes on sale this fall, and we've heard in the past that the Altima will get another hybrid variant, as well. Now, Green Car Reports is confirming that the Murano and the smaller Rogue (seen above in next-gen prototype phase) will both receive hybrid powertrains.
Though riding on different platforms, both hybrid crossovers could share the system being introduced in the Pathfinder, consisting of a 2.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine, a 22-horsepower electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. There is still no word on when the next-gen Murano will arrive, but the 2014 Nissan Rogue will be introduced on September 10.
