1999 Nissan Maxima GXE for sale...clean title...No Check Engine Light
THIS CAR RUNS LIKE A CHAMP!!! Good tire threads Wheels recently aligned and balanced recently changed wiper blades Front brakes recently changed along with rotor power windows works power seat works cruise control works All lights work All basic functions work What needs attention: A/C blows out warm air (should just need another can of freon) Passenger side cv boot has a puncture..(I know where to get a new cv axle for $50...and I will replace it and the driver side for free upon your purchase of the vehicle as I am very good with cars) All four interior speakers are blown. (They work fine at the volume of 19 or lower, anything higher will cause a distorted sound) I can get all four speakers brand new for $65 on Ebay...Which I will also replace for you for free upon purchase of vehicle) The condition is technically GOOD on this car because of the small dinks on the body and the warm air out the A/C which I'm sure is a simple fix. But once I change the speakers, add freon, and change the cv axle it will be in EXCELLENT condition. I really hate to sell this car. It has served me really well, but I am caught up in a financial bind so I have to do what I have to do. I hope that you cherish this car as I have. $2300 AS IS---or---$2700 if you want me to fix it to tip top shape As far as reliability is concerned I can get in it and drive from here to California with absolutely no worries in the world |

Mazda Turnpike in Japan shut down for racing
Mon, Dec 29 2014The people behind Motorhead Magazine in Japan clearly have some friends in high places. Not only did they manage to shutdown eight kilometers of the Mazda Turnpike up the Hakone mountain, but they invited some of the country's premiere racers to take a drive up the hill. This wasn't just a Sunday cruise either. Featuring a BMW Z4 from the Super GT series, a classic Ford GT40, two flavors of Nissan GT-R and two takes on the Subaru Impreza WRX STI, these guys came ready to run. When an opportunity to let racecars challenge a curvy mountain road presents itself, you don't squander it. Thankfully, the folks at Motorhead knew that and outfitted the course with a plethora of cameras and high-quality sound equipment to capture the action. The result is nothing short of sublime. Take the video's urging to turn up your speakers for this one, and watch as these racers hit ludicrous speeds in a beautiful place never meant for them. 2015 Nissan Versa Sedan continues to prioritize space and price over looks
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Nissan's refresh of its cavernous Versa Sedan is on hand today at the 2014 New York Auto Show. While we continue to appreciate the Versa for its space and low price, this slight restyling of the four-door sedan hasn't done much for its uninspiring appearance.
Newly enlarged headlights and a reworked, more Altima-like grille are the biggest changes to the front of this Versa, although Nissan has also added some brightwork around the revised foglight housings. Integrated turn signals liven up the mirrors, while the rear of the car wears a new and almost strangely sporty bumper.
Perhaps more importantly for prospective owners, Nissan has also made a few interior tweaks, with a new steering wheel and a revised center stack leading the change. There's some new available tech on the top-end SL model, as well.
Convocation of eagles takes over bed of Nissan pickup
Mon, 13 May 2013Let this be a lesson to those of you who plan to visit Unalaska, Alaska (yes, it's a real city on Unalaska Island in the Aleutian Islands): If you park at Safeway with a garbage bag full of fish fillets in your pickup's bed, the eagles will find you. That's what happened above when an unidentified man parked his Nissan and returned to find a convocation of bald eagles feasting on his fish.
Neither the man nor those parked near his truck could get to their cars for fear of getting a beatdown from The 'Murica Bird, and police were called to break it up, which they did with neither beast nor fowl injured in the process.
Other than being awesome watching, other things we can take away from this video are the question who comes up with bird gathering names (a "murmuration" of herons and an "unkindness" of ravens?), and the bounty of this comment left by user "Abraham" at the KUCB news report: "It's just that the luxury edition has so much more eagle, it saddens me to think of you missing out."
