You are looking at a very nice Nissan Maxima GLE. This car looks good and runs very well, needless to say it is a very good driving car that handles extremely well. The GLE is a luxury model equipped with power seats, leather upholstery, power windows and factory installed power moon-roof. This car is equipped with the Bose premium music system with CD, Cassette and AM/FM stereo players that puts out a sound quality that only a professional music studio can rival.
Its interior is in near perfect condition with the exception of the driver's seat bottom that has cracks and a worn and torn panel, this is somewhat consistent with a car this age with 158,000 miles. To maintain the beauty and integrity of the interior, a top grade pair of matching seat covers were recently installed.
This car has only 158K miles which is nothing for the 3.0 V6 Nissan engine, your average maximum will go for 350,000 and more miles so there is no reason to expect less from this car. In the event that this will be your first Maxima, you will not be disappointed with the performance of this Nissan 3.0 liter engine powered car. The Maxima is a true 4 Door Sport Car that shared the same powertrain as the Nissan Z cars of its vintage. This Maxima is a joy to drive at all reasonable speeds both on local roads and on inter/intra-state highways.
We recently installed 2 new struts in the rear, the front ones needed no replacement so the suspension is nice and sag-free. All systems on the car work very well including: Charging, Cooling, Electrical, Braking and Suspenssion, Heater works well and the Air conditioner blows nice and cold.
If you can use a very good car that won't leave you stranded anywhere or anytime, here is a good one for you at a very fair starting price with NO RESERVE. This car will sell so Place your bid now with confidence and check frequently to guarantee your spot as the highest bidder. It is obvious that the car is worth more than the $1997 starting price so BID AS YOU LIKE OR WISH. HIGHEST BIDDER WINS!!!
I welcome your inspection and test drive of this car if you wish, before placing your bid, please call 484-544-3040 to arrange. The car is located in East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. I pride myself in selling honest and quality cars, please read my feedbacks as a seller and you can rest assured knowing that you will be happy with your purchase. A $300 Deposit is required at the close of this auction, balance is due within 3 days of auction close by wire transfer or cash in person. Nissan teases Sao Paolo CUV concept, production future likely
Thu, 16 Oct 2014Back in 2012 at Brazil's São Paulo Motor Show, Nissan showed off an angular subcompact crossover concept, Extrem, that seemed to to portend the future of the Nissan Juke. Now, the Japanese automaker is teasing an as-yet-unnamed CUV concept for this year's show. The new showcar, set for an October 28 unveiling, is expected to be a closer-to-production version of the Extrem ethos.
Why should we care? Autoblog has reason to believe that this vehicle is under consideration for global distribution. The production Extrem - or whatever it ends up being called - is likely to be positioned size-wise in between the Juke and the recently upsized Rogue, offering more space and still-adventuresome styling, yet at a less expensive price. If accurate, that sounds like the production model will be a fair bit larger than the conceptual Xtrem, which was built atop a modified version of Nissan's V-platform, a model that underpins its March supermini (and speaking of the March, Nissan has also teased what looks to be a sporty concept version of it for the Brazilian show, too).
It's important to note that Nissan already has a bustling small CUV portfolio globally, what with its popular Qashqai / X-Trail models in markets beyond ours. There continues to be persistent rumors that Nissan is considering bringing over the Qashqai, as well, a model seemingly already quite close in size and execution to the Rogue. Despite this, Nissan has shown no hesitation in exploring every niche of the burgeoning CUV market, and while not every derivative has been a success, models like the Juke have rewarded the company's bravery with handsome sales.
2016 Civic, Sonata, Lexus RX, and Altima earn TSP+ from IIHS [w/videos]
Thu, Jan 14 2016The 2016 Honda Civic sedan, Hyundai Sonata, Lexus RX, and Nissan Altima started the year with a bang by earning Top Safety Pick+ honors from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. They join 48 other 2016 model year vehicles that IIHS already tested that received the agency's top safety marks. These four models met the IIHS' latest requirement, scoring the agency's best possible score in all five of its crash tests – front, side, rear, rollover, and the difficult small-overlap – to be eligible for the safety accolade. Hyundai improved the 2016 Sonata's structure after the sedan's production began, so this rating only applied to examples produced after October. To get the TSP+ honor, a vehicle's crash prevention tech needs to earn least two points on the IIHS' scale. The lower Top Safety Pick designation can go to model with a "basic" version of these systems like a front collision warning. The Civic, Sonata, and RX scored the maximum six points to get "superior" scores for their optional crash prevention tech because they avoided collisions at up to 25 miles per hour. The Altima was successful in a 12-mph test, but the system slowed the sedan by 10 mph in the 25-mph test rather than completely stopping it. Therefore, the agency awarded the Nissan five points, which was still a "superior" score. You can watch the small-overlap tests for the Civic, RX, Altima, and Sonata respectively below. Four more vehicles earn the 2016 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award ARLINGTON, Va. — The Honda Civic 4-door, Hyundai Sonata, Lexus RX and Nissan Altima are the latest vehicles to earn the top award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The four vehicles join the 2016 winner's circle just one month after the initial crop of 48 TOP SAFETY PICK+ winners was announced. The requirements for TOP SAFETY PICK+ were tightened for 2016. To qualify, winners must earn good ratings in each of the Institute's five crashworthiness tests and have an available front crash prevention system earning an advanced or superior rating.
Nismo mashes it up with Sentra 370Z and Altima GT-R
Mon, 11 Aug 2014Nismo was a tuning division once content (or required) to restrict itself to just one or two models at a time, but these days Nissan is taking the gloves off and allowing its motorsport department to tune just about everything's it's got.
Now in its thirtieth year, Nismo tunes versions of the GT-R, 370Z, Juke and Versa Note, and will soon be working its magic on the Sentra and European-market Qashqai and Pulsar. And that's not even taking into account its considerable racing programs. At this rate, Nismo is going to run out of vehicles to tune pretty quickly, so what has it done? Invent new ones!
No, we're afraid that Nissan is not letting its Nismo division produce its own stand-alone product, but it has released two sets of amusing renderings combining two vehicles into one. One depicts a GT-R crossed with a Teana sedan (better known in these parts at the Altima), while the other crosses a Sentra with a 370Z.
