Nissan Gt-r Premium on 2040-cars
Bolivar, Ohio, United States
Upgraded Fuel Pump* *Switzer Midpipe* *Switzer Injectors* *COBB Access Port (cable & box as new from Switzer) *Switzer - In House on Dyno Tune 600awhp (done by us)* *Carbon Fiber Wing Blade* *Flat Bottom, Red Stitched, Thicker Steering Wheel* *Blacked Out Hood & Fender Vents* By adding Intercoolers, Downpipe, Hard Pipe Kit & Intake, you will be at the max the transmission can hold safely, roughly 800hp.Everything, except turbo's, were just installed by Switzer. These are very similar to Switzer's hybrid version. The car just had a week long detail including full paint correction where every panel on the car, goes through a multi-step buff to achieve perfect paint. It then has a glass coat installed which is ground up glass and hardens on top of the paint to give it a extra layer of protection and makes the paint look like glass! This procedure was $2,200!! The best glass coat on the market was used. While the detail was getting completed and the hood snout's & side vents were out, we had them painted gloss black to give a sinister look. I do have the rear GTR badge if you would like to re-install it, I loved the naked look personally. The car also has a beautiful flat bottom, thicker steering wheel installed with beautiful red stitching plus, the rear top blade of the wing is Carbon Fiber. It has been slightly tinted (like a taillight) to blend more with the car's super glossy black finish. Absolutely NOTHING has been repainted, this car is 100% straight and clean all the way around. The car did have a different set of wheels on it which used the OEM tires. When they were removed and the factories re-installed, brand new rubber was also installed, so the tires have roughly 700 miles on them.

Nissan shows self-cleaning car coated in nano paint
Thu, 24 Apr 2014Washing the car is an activity like mowing the lawn that some people love and others find to be an absolute chore. For the latter group, Nissan may have an answer. Nissan is testing a nano-paint coating that could make the car wash a very infrequent place to visit.
Shown on a European Note hatchback, the key is a special layer of super-hydrophobic and oleophobic material called Ultra-Ever Dry that is sprayed over the paint. It creates a protective layer between the body and environment, and it means that when dirt or water come into contact with the car, the gunk just sheets away.
Nissan admits that the coating is still early in testing. The key will be if the stuff can actually last for the long term, and the company will be analyzing it over the coming months to see how it will react in different conditions. At the moment, the automaker has no plans to offer Ultra-Ever Dry as a standard feature, but it may make it available as an aftermarket addition in the future. Scroll down to watch the video of Nissan testing the stuff in some very dirty conditions.
Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi adopts Android infotainment in coup for Google
Tue, Sep 18 2018PARIS — The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi carmaking alliance said on Tuesday it will adopt Alphabet's Google Android operating system, handing a victory to the U.S. tech giant as it pushes for a bigger share of the infotainment market. Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi, with combined sales of 10.6 million vehicles last year, said future models will "integrate Google applications and services" including Maps and the voice-commanded Google Assistant. The move, first reported by the Wall Street Journal, leans more heavily on Big Tech than large or luxury rival carmakers have hitherto been willing to do. Many fear losing control of customer relationships, data and potentially significant future revenue from connected services. Some smaller manufacturers such as Volvo Cars have decided to embed Android Auto in their vehicles. But the scale of the shift by Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi may cause a broader rethink of costly standalone tech strategies. "Major carmakers earlier were reluctant to do business with Google, but this has now changed," said Jauke de Jong, a research analyst at AFS Group in Amsterdam. "More carmakers could follow suit and partner with Google." Until now, carmakers have largely chosen Linux, Microsoft or QNX software to power infotainment. That yields clunkier platforms they can control, but which offer little scope to add new apps or functionality. Far more than just hooking up a phone The news may spell trouble for certain existing auto-tech suppliers such as mapping specialist TomTom, which counts Renault among its customers. Shares in the Dutch group fell by more than quarter after the announcement. In return for handing Google the infotainment keys, the alliance will bring the full clout of Android's thousands of apps to its brands' lineups — which include a strong contingent of affordably priced, no-frills models for emerging markets. The partnership promises "rich user experiences that are currently available only outside the vehicle or, to a limited extent, by connecting an Android device to supported vehicles," alliance development chief Hadi Zablit said. While many volume carmakers offer infotainment "mirroring" to pair with Apple iPhones or Android smartphones, premium rivals such as BMW and Daimler's Mercedes-Benz are investing heavily in their own operating systems, vocal assistants and connected services.
