2007 Ford F-150 Xl Standard Cab Pickup 2-door 4.6l on 2040-cars
Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States
This F-150 is what we used at our shop for running errands, pick-ups, etc. The vehicle is in very good condition with normal wear & tear for a vehicle of this age and mileage. It's never been wrecked or hit and has been serviced regulararly with a new battery and new Michelin tires recently added. This is a RWD vehicle with the 4.6 engine, and runs very well. The body is in very good shape and includes a cover for the bed. There is one small tear in the driver's seat, along with very small hairline crack in the windshield down by the wipers (in photos). We really don't need the truck any longer as we now use an Expedition EL. The blue book value on the truck is $6,402, but I've set our acceptable price much lower than that. Don't let the mileage scare you, the truck runs great and has a lot of life left in her. Check my feedback and know I'm describing her accurately.

Hurricane Sandy cost automakers 15,000 vehicles, may have ruined up to 200k
Wed, 07 Nov 2012Hurricane Sandy was the largest Atlantic storm in US history, and its total economic impact is just now coming into view. According to Automotive News, Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Honda are set to scrap around 15,000 new vehicles ruined by the storm. Nissan alone accounts for about 40 percent of those, with 6,000 Nissan and Infiniti models deeded "un-saleable" due to damage. The company saw 56 dealerships shuttered due to the storm, but 51 of those have since reopened.
Toyota, meanwhile, had some 4,000 vehicles at its Newark port facility, and of those, 3,000 may be scrapped. An additional 825 were dealer inventory when they were ruined. Honda and Acura dealers are reportedly sending 3,440 vehicles to the salvage yard. By comparison, Chrysler weathered the storm fairly well with 825 units destroyed, while Hyundai suffered only 400 lost units and Kia scrapped around 200.
As you may recall, Fisker also suffered some losses, and Automotive News reports the manufacturer saw 320 Karma models damaged beyond repair. Ford and General Motors have yet to come up with estimates, and no automaker has commented on the full cost of replacing the vehicles.

Nissan GT-R drag races Swiss fighter jet
Thu, 09 May 2013Proving that speed is fun in any language, Nissan's German arm recently pitted a GT-R up against an ex-Swiss Air Force fighter jet, called the Hawker Hunter. Now the idea of a car-versus-plane drag race is nothing new, but this is the first time we can recall a GT-R being involved.
While this Nissan video is almost a month old, we're pretty sure you won't be disappointed by the action, which shows the two high-speed machines racing along the two-kilometer runway. We don't want to ruin the suspense, so scroll down for the latest matchup of sports car versus fighter jet.
