Patterson Lakes, VIC, Australia

This is one very special and highly collectable Nissan Skyline GTR, It is the LM Limited edition with the LM = Le Mans.
In 1996 Nissan Motor Co. Japan released only 98 of this model to the japanese market and only 14 VSPEC's... this being a VSPEC it is extremely rare!! (I have an email from Nissan Motor Co. Japan confirming the limited production numbers)
The LM Limited was built to commemorate Nissan entering 2 R33 GTR race cars in 1995 Le Mans 24hr where the number 22 car finished 10th overall, this was incredible considering it was essentialy running the same RB26 motor and going up against supercars of that era like the Mclaren F1 GTR.

Limited Edition factory fitted extras:

Championship Blue duco (code BT2)
Carbon Fibre Rear Wing Blade
N1 Front Brake Cooling Ducts
N1 Bonnet Lip
Commemorative GT-R Decals on C-Pillars

This particular example has been kept to its original OEM stock form and presents itself like a new car. I am a Meticulous owner and have only put 1700 km's on it in the time I've owned it starting it up once a week and I try to get out for a drive atleast once a month just to make sure everything is running smooth... It really does drive like a new car.
I have used the best oils and filters to maintain this vehicle, Royal Purple and Nismo Veruspeed Oil Filter and HKS panel air filter.
I am the first registered owner in Australia and it came from Nissan Sales Co. Fukui - Japan where they completed an engine overhaul at 82k changing all belts etc. (100k service)

I will throw in all the memorabilia I have collected including the original dealers catalogue, blank GTR key, official Nissan Licensed Models.

With not many examples left in their original form this car is highly collectable and  it needs to be seen to be appreciated, it's the cleanest R33 GTR going around!

Open to reasonable offers but in no rush to sell

I Would like to see this car go to an enthusiast who will preserve it's originality

It will only appreciate in Value $$$

I will assist in transportation to Melbourne Docks, The importation process is obviously up to the prospective buyer.

*Please take note I have listed it as a 1980 year model car due to the VIN not being detected through the US ebay... Its actually 1996 year of manufacture.

VIN - BCNR33023134

Weekly Recap: New bosses try to jump-start Cadillac and Lincoln

Sat, 26 Jul 2014

Both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.
It's ironic that Cadillac and Lincoln got new bosses within days of each other this month. It's also a commentary on the fact both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder: March 2013

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Over the past few months, we've talked a lot about how our long-term 2013 Nissan Pathfinder functions as a daily-driver, long-hauler and all-weather warrior. And so far, it's earning high praise from most of us for being a well-rounded, pleasant vehicle in these regards. But the vast majority of people who actually go out and buy a Pathfinder will do so because of its people-and-stuff-carrying abilities. Nissan specifically engineered the new Pathfinder to be a softer, more widely appealing crossover than the sort of rugged SUV that it was before, and in doing so, the company is hoping its new CUV will find homes in the garages of many American families.
We needed to get some family impressions of the new Pathfinder, and fast.
Thing is, many of us Autobloggers live the kid-free life - at least that's true of most of us in the Detroit area where the Pathfinder currently resides. We have no doubts that the Pathfinder will get a proper family road trip workout from west coast editor Michael Harley after it shuffles over to the left side of the country, and it might also do a jaunt to North Carolina this summer with executive editor Chris Paukert and his family before it leaves the area, but in the meantime, we needed to get some family impressions of the new Pathfinder, and fast.

Renault and Nissan forge deeper alliance

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

If the automotive industry's current era could be summarized by one trend - from a corporate aspect, anyway - surely it would be conglomeration. But of all the major auto groups that have emerged over the past several years, none have kept themselves at arm's length quite like the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
Much like Fiat and Chrysler, Renault and Nissan are presided over by a common chief executive. But whereas Sergio Marchionne's Italian-American alliance has moved swiftly from a transatlantic partnership to a merged company in the span of less than five years, Carlos Ghosn's Franco-Japanese alliance has stood oceans apart since 1999. But now the Renault-Nissan Alliance is following the lead set by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in bridging that distance through several key measures.
For one, Renault and Nissan will make increased use of common platforms, R&D, systems and testing. The two automakers will also cooperate more closely on manufacturing and supply chain management, purchasing and human resources. To manage the increased cooperation, the alliance has appointed several new executive vice presidents from within its ow ranks and a new management committee to be chaired by Ghosn, details about which you can read in the press release below.
