Supercharged 3.3 Liter V6 Engine/5-speed Od Manual Transmission,xtang Tonneau on 2040-cars
Fitchburg, Massachusetts, United States
This 2003 Nissan Frontier King Cab 4X4 SVE is equipped with the supercharged 3.3 liter V6 engine and 5-speed overdrive manual transmission. I bought this truck back in April of last year. Over the past few months the Frontier had its oil pan, exhaust system, swaybar and TPS sensor replaced. Also, I had its oil changed last week and back in October installed an Xtang tonneau cover. The truck is equipped with air conditioning, power mirrors, locks and windows,AM/FM/CD player radio and cruise control. Also,I had a new spare tire holder with chain installed due to the old one being broken. In addition a brand new spare tire and replacement alloy wheel was installed due to the old spare tire and steel wheel being too old. The truck also had a Rhino spray-in bedliner installed before I bought the truck(the best spray-in bedliner money can buy). The 4WD system works flawlessly, the A/C blows cold like it should and the heater will roast you in the winter-ideal given the current cold weather situation we're dealing with here in the Northeast. The bad news is that the driver's side door hinges need to be replaced. The door drops down a little when you open it but it still closes and locks. There are some rust spots on the front fenders, hood and roof. The radiator support needs to be replaced but truck still runs normally like it should. There's also a ding on the passenger's side. Also the interior needs detailing(I may have it done if the truck isn't sold by the end of next week). Please remember that this is an 11 year old truck and some wear and tear is to be expected and the truck is being sold AS-IS,with no warranty expressed or implied. Other than that, the truck is ready to go. Title is clear. Payment is to be made by PayPal,Certified Cashier Check,Postal Money Order and of course,CASH IS KING!!! Winning bidder is required to make a $500 dollar deposit to Paypal. Full payment is to be paid 7 days after the end of the auction. NON PAYING WINNERS WILL BE LEFT NEGATIVE FEEDBACK AND BANNED FROM FUTURE AUCTIONS. Also, shill bidding and/or bid interference will not be tolerated!! If you don't have the money for it,don't bid on it!!! Buyer is responsible for picking up vehicle at their expense. The truck is also being sold locally on Craigslist so the auction will end early if it is sold. Once it's gone,it's gone!! If you have any questions please call or text me at (781) 249-2349. Ask for Marques(Marcus). |

Should you buy an EV?
Mon, Aug 17 2015Gas prices are hitting the skids and EVs are following suit; nearly every model in today's market has experienced a double-digit decline in sales – with the always notable exception of the Tesla Model S. Some EVs are in the last year of their generation while others have been half-heartedly designed and engineered to fulfill federal government quotas. The two non-Tesla front runners, the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf, are in the unfortunate position of offering customers "2015" vehicles that were designed with 2011 in mind. Yet there's plenty of love in the air. Nissan has built over 180,000 Leafs worldwide, and chances are you will be seeing a second electric vehicle accompanying the Leaf when the new generation is released in the coming months. The Chevy Volt now offers the highest customer satisfaction out of any car or truck sold in North America. Forget the luxury cars, the sports cars, the family trucksters, and even the rolling flagship that guides Tesla's jaw dropping valuation on Wall Street. You want happy with your EV? The brand that's rocking the segment right now is Chevy. It's been doing so for a while. The EV market is poised to become a lot more sophisticated over the next 18 months with the three leading manufacturers – Tesla, General Motors, and Nissan – launching five brand new models along with no fewer than 16 other manufacturers making many of their bread and butter cars available as plug-in hybrids. So, if you want to keep your money as far away from the Arab dictatorships and Russian mafia as Mercury is from Pluto, and enjoy your commute, we're more than ready to do our part! So let's begin with the most important question. What's Your Range? How much driving do you generally do in a day? If the answer to that question is 50 miles or fewer, an all-electric vehicle like the Nissan Leaf may be the best ingredient for your driving recipe. This is especially true if you have a second vehicle you can use for the occasional longer drive or are willing to rent for the weekend. But here's a little surprise for you. The upcoming Chevy Volt was designed to be driven in all-electric mode for over 50 miles. Fifty-three, to be exact. Plus, the Volt's battery has experienced a lot fewer deterioration issues than the Nissan Leaf's due in part to the Volt's liquid-cooled battery, which also uses a lot less of its capacity than the air-cooled Leaf's does.
Nissan poised to nearly double exports from US by 2015 [w/video]
Tue, 27 Aug 2013As a part of a plan to double its US export volume by 2015, Nissan started shipping 2014 Pathfinder SUVs from its plant in Smyrna, TN to Australia and New Zealand. These Pathfinders are not only the first right-hand-drive models Nissan has exported from the US, but their 10,000-mile journey through the Gulf of Mexico and across the Pacific is also the automaker's furthest export.
Products from the Smyrna plant are exported to 61 different countries, and Nissan's export volume from the US will account for around 14 percent of its production this year, which is two percent more than 2012. Helping all this is the fact that by early next year, Nissan's production in North and South America will top two million units thanks to added capacity in the US and new plants in Mexico and Brazil. An official video made to look like a news feature joins the press release from Nissan posted below.
Meet the Nissan GT-R test driver responsible for 'Ring tuning
Wed, 07 May 2014Ever wonder what it's like to be a manufacturer's development driver at the Nürburgring? We imagine it's pretty cool. After all, you get to spend your days zooming about the greatest racetrack on the planet in a vehicle that is usually months or more away from consumers. For Hiroyoshi Kato, whose actual title is Technical Meister, life is even better than your typical development driver, because he spends his days wringing out the Nissan GT-R Nismo around the Green Hell.
Kato-san has a long history with both Nissan and the Ring. He had a major hand in the development of the R32, R33 and R34 Skyline GT-Rs, having first come to the Ring nearly three decades ago.
His experience with the Nismo, though, is different than the other vehicles he's contributed to. As he explains it, there are real racers on hand to test the car on the track, like Formula One reserve driver Sébastien Buemi. Instead, Kato focuses on the track-to-road balance. Still, he has some truly interesting insights on the car and the track, including his surprise at turning a sub-eight-minute lap in his first outing. That, along with a few other things (one of which is an R34 being hustled about), make this a must-watch video from Nissan.
