Nissan Cube 2013 S cvt 4-door sedan? van? hatch? NOT A RENTAL, this is a local car we took in trade, absolutely no damage whatsoever, bumper to bumper warranty to 1/29/2016 or 36000 miles plus powertrain warranty to 1-29-2018 or 60000 miles.
Low miles, clean Carfax, usual BS. Now about the car. Know the punchline to the joke about Mickey Mouse getting a divorce? It applies here. One of the most original and distinctive cars. Hate it or love it. I thought it was---Goofy, I thought it looked like Blinky or one of the other ghosts in the old PacMan game. Then I drove it. It is an extremely well made, comfortable, smooth and quiet car. Easy entrance/exit, sits up like a van, rides like a big car. Has pure Drive for lowest pollution factor. Economical. 1.8 liter four, CVT automatic, FWD, filtered air conditioning, power windows/locks/mirrors, tilt steering wheel with audio and Bluetooth hands-free phone controls, cruise control, ABS, Stability Control, front/side/head airbags, keyless remote entry, tire monitor, AM/FM/CD with MP3 jack and i-pod cable, Accent Lighting w. 20 combos (lame), lightup thresholds, mat set. fold down rear seats, cargo mat, more. But the best accessory is the velcro on the bottom of the round pad on the dash so you can pull it off and pitch it- it looks like a shag carpet sample from a mobile home dealer. Stand out from the crowd and still be eminently practical. Excellent cars fully serviced by our experts to the most paranoid's satisfaction. Experience? We've been in used imports since 1966. We sell 2 1/2 times the national average for repeat and referral-we must do something right. Members of Better Business Bureau. Mechanic's inspection welcome. Free Carfax upon request. E-mail or (better) call toll-free 888-676-6352 or (best) come visit. Thanks

Recharge Wrap-up: Indianapolis to switch 425 fleet vehicles to EVs, Chevy Corvette provides bat habitats
Tue, Nov 4 2014Indianapolis will deploy 425 battery electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles as part of its municipal fleet by 2016. The fleet will include such cars as the Nissan Leaf, Chevrolet Volt and Ford Fusion Energi. The city will also reduce its overall fleet by 100 vehicles. In all, the revised group - called the "Freedom Fleet" - will save $8.7 million and 2.2 million gallons of gasoline over 10 years. Read more at Hybrid Cars. EVs with longer range would make vehicle-to-home and vehicle-to-grid energy management systems more practical for the US. The idea of using EVs as energy storage for emergencies or times of high grid demand is currently being tested in Japan with Nissan's Leaf-to-Home system. The US is also interested in such capabilities, but the higher average energy use of American households would make larger batteries in EVs ideal for grid storage applications. The factory, when constructed, will have a capacity of producing batteries for 100,000 cars per year according to the Korean company. The plant will supply batteries for Chinese automakers such as SAIC and Qoros. Construction is expected to be finished by the end of 2015 and LG Chem expects revenue of more than $933 million by 2020. Read more in the press release below. General Motors is using adhesive used in the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to create habitat for threatened bat species. Artificial bat caves could help alleviate white-nose fungus that leads to diminished bat populations. Leftover adhesive is used to create stalactites in the artificial caves, allowing them more structure to hang from. GM has also provided Volt battery covers to create nesting habitats for bats, which eat harmful insects and help pollinate plants. See the videos and read more in the press release below. According to Nissan, only three replacement batteries have been sold out of 30,000 Leafs sold in Europe. Read more at Autocar. The Tesla Model S P85D walloped a Ferrari in an impromptu drag race video. The Ferrari driver pulls up alongside the Tesla and asks, "What you got in there?" before challenging him to a race. The Ferrari gets a head start, but the Tesla pulls out ahead quickly. The video also gets the reactions of some passengers to the car's mighty acceleration. See the video below and read the account of a drag race against a Lamborghini Aventador at Car Throttle. Australian website Drive has chosen their Cars of the Year in various categories. The Tesla Model S was a carryover winner for Luxury Car Over $80,000, but the Mercedes-Benz C200 narrowly overtook it to be crowned the overall winner. Regarding the Model S, one judge says, "This makes every other EV look at least a generation behind." The main thing that held the Tesla back from winning outright was the near-term lack of charging infrastructure. The judges did note Tesla's plans to build a network of Superchargers in Australia, but also pointed out that those plans exclude much of the country so far. Bhutan asks Nissan, Mitsubishi for help with massive EV-only plan
Mon, Jul 7 2014Originally, the somewhat modest plan was to introduce 2,000 electric vehicles to the capital of Bhutan. Then things got bigger when Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn paid the country a visit and the Prime Minister of Bhutan, Tshering Tobgay, said his country, "will commit to a program to achieve zero emissions as a nation by a certain target date." Now we're approaching "holy huge" territory. Last week, Tobgay visited Japan to ask Nissan and Mitsubishi for help in possibly replacing every combustion vehicle with an all-electric option. "Gasoline is expensive and unfriendly to the environment." – Bhutan's Prime Minister At the very least, Bhutan wants to make more eco-friendly vehicles available. Tobgay told AsiaNews that, "Gasoline is expensive and unfriendly to the environment. Sustainable transportation will bring citizens happiness," which is something that a country that measures its Gross National Happiness is eager to track. Switching to electric vehicles makes complete sense in Bhutan, since the mountainous Asian nation produces more renewable hydro-electricity than it can use. Ninety-five percent of the zero-emission energy is exported to India, and Bhutan uses the profits to buy fuel from India to then power its vehicles. You can probably figure out for yourself how there's a simpler way to do this. News Source: AsiaNews.it Green Mitsubishi Nissan Green Culture Electric
