This Nissan Altima is powered by a 4-cylinder 2.5 liter 175 hp engine. It is front-wheel drive with and is equipped with the continuously variable (CVT) automatic transmission. This Altima feels sportier than most rival models. It's well-bolstered sport seats offer a cockpit-style interior that also distinguishes the cabin feel. With revised trims for 2010, the interior has more soft-touch materials and chrome accents. On the outside this Altima has dual exhausts for a sporty look. The Altima handles very well thanks to speed-sensitive power rack-and-pinion steering and a suspension that's tuned on the firm side yet compliant enough for most surfaces. It has 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. and split-folding back seats to expand cargo space for larger items. The mileage ratings are 23 in town and 31 highway. This Altima is equipped with air conditioning, power locks and windows, a trip computer, cruise control, tilt steering, and rear-seat heated vents, a 6-speaker sound system, Intelligent Key entry and ignition system, and variable intermittent wipers. Safety is strongly represented with electronic stability control, in addition to a full roster of airbags. Pick up in Indianapolis. $500 Deposit required within 24hrs full payment within 7 days.
I am the original owner I traveled the US in this car for my business. Most of the miles are road miles and the car was on a 3000 mile service program with the dealership. The remainder of the warranty is available through Nissan for a small fee. I would keep the car except that I have moved up to a Motor Home for my business. It gets the mileage claimed by the factory at road speeds. When I got the Altima I installed front and rear seat covers and I do not smoke so the interior is immaculate. The exterior is well maintained also, with yearly detailing. Tires are in good shape with lots of miles left on them. This car is very spacious and has a lot of room in the rear seat area and is easy to see out of even for short people. The driver seat has a height adjustment and tilt adjustment so it fit my 6'4" frame well.

Nissan reveals radical BladeGlider concept for Tokyo debut
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Radical reinvention of the automobile doesn't happen very often. There's a reason they refer to it as "reinventing the wheel", after all. But that's what a team of racecar designers did with the original DeltaWing concept in 2010. Originally proposed as an IndyCar racer, the project was subsequently redesigned for Le Mans. That's when Nissan got on board, supported the project for a few races, then took the design in its own direction with the ZEOD RC. And now it's taking it to the road... via the auto show.
What we have here is the BladeGlider concept, a proposal for a delta-shaped electric sportscar which Nissan will present at the Tokyo Motor Show in a couple of weeks. Designed to focus on driving pleasure, the BladeGlider is about as radical as they come. Like the DeltaWing and ZEOD RC, it's got a narrow front track and wide rear to minimize drag and optimize stability, packing a 1+2 seating arrangement to put the driver front and center like in a McLaren F1, with upward-swinging doors and underbody aerodynamics to keep it glued to the road. In-wheel motors (of unspecified output) provide the power, a lightweight lithium-ion battery (not to mention the carbon-fiber bodywork) keeps it all fearther-like, and weight distribution is heavily biased towards the rear at 30:70.
A radical concept, to be sure, but here's the kicker: Nissan wants to build it. As you can see from the press release below, the BladeGlider "is both a proposal for the future direction of Nissan electric vehicle (EV) development and an exploratory prototype for an upcoming production vehicle". While it would undoubtedly take some time to develop, much less certify for road, seeing one of these - or even better, driving one - on our favorite stretches of tarmac strikes us as a prospect worth waiting for.

Infiniti's new Design Director is American Alfonso Albaisa
Fri, 10 May 2013The man responsible for creating the sleek 2010 Nissan Ellure Concept you see above is now the design director for Infiniti. Alfonso Albaisa (shown at right) has been a member of the Nissan design team for 25 years, but was recently promoted to executive design director for the Infiniti brand.
His past roles at Nissan have included design director for Nissan from 2004 to 2007, vice president of Nissan Design Europe from 2007 to 2011, vice president of Nissan Design America in 2011 and, most recently, he held the title of Nissan's global design director.
