I bought this car brand new and have clean and clear title in my possession. This Altima was used for my business vehicle and has mostly highway miles. The 3.5 engine is very strong and fast and barely broken in. Everything works as it should..power seat, windows, cruise, etc,,,COLD AC!. The only reason I'm selling is because my company issued us fleet vehicles, so my loss is your gain. Clean carfax! It has a Pioneer DVD/Navigation system, with Bluetooth phone connection, ipod cable, and backup camera. Polk Audio MOMO 6.5 component speakers in the front and 6x9's in the rear. Also a Polk Audio MOMO multichannel amp pushing them. It has a 12 inch Rockford Fosgate P3 sub pushed by a Polk MOMO sub amp. The system sounds amazing. The multichannel amp has occasional intermittent interference, that may need checking into in the future. This Altima isn't new, but isn't abused. Still looks good and runs great! Nissan recalls over 120,000 Altimas due to... spare tire inflation?!
Mon, 29 Apr 2013A pressure regulator that over- or underinflated spare tires for five days earlier this year has led to a recall of 123,308 units of the 2013 Nissan Altima. Sedans that were manufactured from March 21-26 are those possibly affected by the temporary tire snafu, the recall for which will begin on May 3.
Those notified of the issue can take their sedans to their local Nissan dealer, who will check the tire pressure and correct it if necessary, but we imagine owners can probably just whip out a tire gauge to check and adjust the inflation for themselves. Should you need it, there's an official notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below with a few more details.
Nissan GT-R goes 183 mph on ice in Russia
Sat, 06 Apr 2013When a pair of Russian pilots wanted to set a local ice-speed record, they chose a stock Nissan GT-R for the task. Roman Rusinov, a Russian race car driver, and Andrey Leontjev, a Russian auto journalist, took Godzilla to Lake Baikal and ran it up to 294.8 kilometers per hour (182.8 miles per hour) across frozen stuff estimated to be 1.4 meters thick.
While the worldwide record of 205.48 mph was set by Juha Kankkunen in a Bentley Supersports Convertible, the mark achieved by Rusinov and Leontjev establishes a new Russian record. Well done, boys. You can watch it all go down in the video below.
Watch Nissan's autonomous Leaf in action
Sun, 06 Oct 2013Getting its semi-autonomous Leaf legalized in Japan was just the first step. Now, Nissan is giving demonstrations of what its fully autonomous car is capable of at this year's Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (CEATEC) show - Japan's equivalent to America's Consumer Electronics Show. To show off the possibilities of its technologies, Nissan had an oval track set up at the show giving rides in an autonomous Leaf to the media. Even Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn and Toyota CEO Akio Toyodo caught a ride.
Nissan has since released a couple videos of its CEATEC demos, with one designed to look like a news report. In this video, you can watch the car go around the track and navigate intersections and road hazards. The second video shows Ghosn riding in the car, and he hints that Nissan's goal of having an autonomous vehicle in production by 2020 might be more of a worst-case scenario.
