2008 Nissan Altima Se Coupe 2-door 3.5. Clean, Leather, Loaded, Low Miles! on 2040-cars
Glenwood Landing, New York, United States
Up for sale is my 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 with premium package. I am the second owner of this vehicle. Bought this car while I was going to school in Michigan, but since I got a job in New York City, I have no need for a vehicle and I want this to go to a good home. I really love this car and I really hate to see it go. Car currently has 77,800 miles, mostly highway. Clean title. Purchased from an older couple who maintained it as it should have been. Full synthetic fluids used. Car is in great condition. Interior is super clean, free of odors and tears, overall a 9.5/10. Exterior has few dings and scratches typical of a 6 year old car, overall a 8/10. Glass is in great condition. Car does not leak or burn any fluids. Car has the premium package (leather, heated seats, power moonroof, heated windshield/mirrors). Brakes and tires are newer and in good condition. All electronics work as they should. Never smoked in. Has the Automatic 6 cyl CVT transmission and VDC control. This car is very fast, but never raced, averages 29 mpg with moderate driving. AC blows ice cold. Car also has a professionally installed premium sound system. Car has a Pioneer DVD touch screen unit set up to play music, movies, and navigation through any Iphone or Android device with bluetooth. Car has a premium Hertz sound system. Hertz is top quality and Italian made. Includes a full set of component speakers, 4 channel Hertz amp, and 10 inch Hertz shallow mount subwoofer. Sound system sounds FANTASTIC and plays any genre of music beautifully. Car is 100% reliable and ready to drive, no reliability issues whatsoever. Only issue with car besides the small ding and scratches is the tire pressure sensor (TPMS) light comes on intermittently. Mechanic says this is due to regular air used in the tires when Nitrogen is recommended. Comes on from time to time but never bothered me. Car currently has lien on it from my bank. I may have it paid off before I sell this vehicle, but lien is not an issue regardless, car has clean Michigan title. Willing to consider reasonable offers, but no lowball offers. I live in NYC during the week and I am on Long Island (Glen Cove area) on Fridays and Sundays. I'm willing to drive car within a reasonable distance to show. I can also set up appointments to check out the car on both Long Island and NYC. Please text (nine-zero-6 -two-8-one-1-eight-5-8) or email me if you have any questions. Leave a message if I don't pick up when you call. Name is Bill. Thanks for looking. Buyer is to provide a $250 non refundable deposit within 48 hours of winning auction. Car is being sold locally as well. I have the right to end auction at any time. |

Nissan Leaf becomes least expensive 5-seat EV with massive price drop
Mon, 14 Jan 2013In a roundtable interview today at the North American International Auto Show, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn announced a $6,400 price drop for the base-model 2013 Nissan Leaf. Last year's base model was $35,200, while the new base-level 2013 Leaf S starts at $28,800. Ghosn says the new prices make the Leaf the least expensive five-seater electric for sale in the US.
Some of the lower cost is due to a difference in content from last year's low-end model to this year's. But a sizable portion can be chalked up to the Leaf's production moving from Japan to Tennessee. The 2013 Leaf is not only assembled in the US now, but its lithium-ion batteries and the car's electric motors are manufactured in the same southern state.
The Leaf SV will be priced from $31,820 for 2013 compared to $35,200 last year. The high-end Leaf SL now starts at $34,840, down from the 2012 model's $37,250. These models also have differences in content. One big one is a new 6.6-kWh charger that reduces charging times pretty dramatically.
2014 Nissan Rogue
Fri, 01 Nov 2013When I first started in this whole automotive journalism biz, I held a sort of hodgepodge receptionist/gopher/production assistant role, and each morning as the staff filed in, I'd ask them how they liked whatever car they were assigned to drive the previous night. Most of my colleagues would regale me with anecdotes about how good or bad a vehicle was, but one co-worker, every single morning, would answer my query with the exact same phrase: "It was fine."
I always assumed this was just a brush-off, an "ask me again after I've had a cup of coffee" sort of response. But then I found myself in a similar moment of brevity following the launch of the 2014 Nissan Rogue earlier this week. After returning home, a friend asked me what I thought of the new Rogue, and I replied, word for word, "It was fine."
And, well, it was. Nothing worth wasting exclamation points over, good or bad. Aside from something like the interesting-to-drive Mazda CX-5 or funky-looking Jeep Cherokee, nothing in this class really tries to set the world on fire. And that, right there, is fine. Nissan doesn't need to do anything crazy with its second-generation Rogue. It just needs to offer a well-equipped crossover that's handsome, functional, efficient and priced right - sticking to the same formula that made the first-generation model so successful while offering the latest crop of creature comforts in a more modern package.
Chevy Volt sales drop in June, Nissan Leaf inches upwards
Tue, Jul 1 2014Different month, same story. That's the gist of the monthly US sales numbers from the Chevy Volt and the Nissan Leaf. These were the first two mass-market plug-in vehicles to go on sale in the US and we've been comparing their sales numbers for what seems like ages now. So far, the 2014 tale of the tape shows the all-electric once again trumping the plug-in hybrid. The last time the Volt outsold the Leaf was in October 2013. Chevrolet sold 1,777 Volts in June. That was good enough to be the Volt's best sales month of the year, but it's down 34 percent from the 2,698 units sold in June 2013. In fact, it's on par with the 1,760 Volts sold in June 2012. Given the steady sales, General Motors might need to push up the release of the next-gen Volt to gin up excitement, especially if it also offers some of the things that current Volt drivers say they want improved: more range, a lower price and a fifth seat. GM also said it sold 85 Spark EVs in June, an increase of 215 percent over June 2013 Nissan sold 2,347 Leafs last month. The good news continues for Nissan, which says it sold 2,347 Leafs last month. That's an increase of 5.5 percent over 2013 numbers and makes 2014 the best June ever for Leaf sales. Let's credit Texas. Toby Perry, Nissan's director of EV sales and marketing, said in a statement that, "Since the Texas state incentive went into effect in May, we've seen a big jump in Leaf sales in the Austin, Dallas and Houston markets. Our dealers are telling us that they saw more traffic in their stores, and they had their best Leaf sales performance in the last weekend in June." Even with that increase, Atlanta remains the top Leaf market. Nissan has sold 12,736 Leafs in the US so far this year; Chevy 8,615 Volts. Our detailed monthly sales write-up of green cars in the US, including plug-in vehicles, hybrids and diesel cars, is coming soon. For now, we invite you to discuss these numbers in the Comments.
