2009 Nissan 370z Touring W/ Sport Package & Mods... on 2040-cars
Sumrall, Mississippi, United States
Well, I can't believe the time has come to sell my Z, but it has. I have been a Z enthusiast for a long time now, owning several 300ZX cars in addition to the 370Z in this ad. I love these cars, and I'm only selling this one because I have to do some things financially in preparation for building a house.
It is important to know up front that I am not some teenager who has ragged this car out. I am a middle aged man who takes care of his cars. This Z is only driven on sunny days and is kept in a garage under a cover when not driven. I bought this car as a platform to custom build my Z how I wanted it for pleasure and performance. That's why it did not matter to me that it has a "Rebuilt" title. I was more interested in buying a Z for thousands $$$ less so I could put that money into the mods I wanted. I researched the history of this car as well as looking it over thoroughly and was satisfied that she would be perfect for what I wanted to do. The car was hit in the rear, driver side quarter panel, which resulted in it receiving a rebuilt title after it was repaired. I acquired as much information on the car as I could to ensure that she was mechanically and structurally sound. Minor imperfections here and there didn't matter to me, because I was planning on putting an Amuse body kit on her and having the car repainted anyhow. In short, if the things I have just written sound like what you are looking for as well, then happy bidding. If you have a problem with the car having a rebuilt title, then this car is not for you. Proceed to look elsewhere. I'll not begin to list all of the plans I had for her. Let me just share with you the mods that are on the car now. MODIFICATIONS: GTR Red Start Button GTR Dome Light Covers New Nismo Floor Mats 2 12" Alpine Woofers w/ Amp in Custom Box H&R Lowering Springs Fast Intentions Exhaust w/ 12" Resonators Z1 Test Pipes Stillen Gen 3 Cold Air Intake Kinetix Camber Kit on the Whole Car w/ Toe Bolts (the car received a 4 wheel alignment with no problems afterwards) Z1 Silicone Hose Kit for the engine bay (radiator hoses, vacuum hoses, etc.) As you can tell, the mods I have done so far have been performance mods, not cosmetic. This means you can keep her as she is and enjoy her or add the customization that fits your preferences. SOME FINAL INFO: 1. If the car is purchased for the "BUY IT NOW" price, I will include all of the OEM parts that came off of the car when mods were added. 2. I'm not desperate to sell the car, so please don't send me any low ball offers. 3. Don't bid if you can't pay for the car. Non-paying bidders will be reported. 4. If you have questions or concerns, ask them before you bid, because once the auction is over, you own the car if you're the highest bidder. There will not be a bunch of nick-picking, whining, and backing out of the deal when you come to get the car. 5. I reserve the right to close the auction early as I have the car for sale locally. P.S. I now the pictures are not the greatest. It's the best I could do in the time I had before the rain. Message me and I will gladly get better pics of any area of the car for serious buyers. |

2015 Nissan Murano is the Sport Sedan Concept of crossovers [w/video]
Wed, 16 Apr 2014The edgy new Nissan Murano has just been officially unveiled at today's New York Auto Show following its online debut earlier this week. Wearing sheetmetal clearly inspired by the Japanese brand's creatively named Sport Sedan Concept, the third-generation Murano continues the tradition of offering dramatic styling and surprisingly premium interiors.
With headlights and a grille that look lifted from the Detroit Auto Show concept, the Murano arguably has more design presence than it's ever had before, thanks to its sharply styled headlights and in-your-face grille. The profile is highlighted by an aggressive kink in the beltline behind the C-pillar, while the rear of the crossover sports a smallish rear window and strongly styled C-shaped taillights.
The redesigned interior isn't quite as dramatic a departure as the exterior, with a layout reminiscent of the larger Pathfinder. The material quality, though, looks to be significantly improved for 2015. There are also no shortage of optional, upmarket interior items, like heated and cooled front seats, a heated rear bench and an upsized panoramic sunroof.
Infiniti brand will finally make its debut in Japan, but not the name
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Nissan left the automotive media scratching its collective head when it announced that its Infiniti luxury brand would be renaming all of its vehicles, with cars wearing the Q designation and CUVs/SUVs wearing the QX badge. So the G Sedan became the Q50, and the G Coupe became the Q60. The QX56, meanwhile, became the QX80, and the FX crossover became the QX70. It is still thoroughly confusing nearly a year later.
Not content to confuse its US customers alone, Nissan will be fiddling with the name of one of its most revered Japanese-market models - the Skyline. Rebadged for the US as the Q50, and before that as the G Sedan/Coupe, the new Skyline will wear an Infiniti badge. What makes this truly confusing, though, is that the car won't be called the Infiniti Skyline, despite its badging. It won't even be called the Nissan Skyline, anymore. It's now just the Skyline. Apparently, Nissan thinks it can capitalize on the Skyline's link to the Japanese royal family (the Skyline was originally a product of Prince Motors, which provided vehicles for the Emperor and his family), by ditching any brand names and referring to it as its own model, according to Automotive News.
Now, confusion aside, there are things about Infiniti badging in Japan that make sense. Badging all the Nissans that eventually become Infinitis as Infinitis in the first place goes a long way to make the brand seem separate and distinct from its parent company. Speaking to AN, Infiniti's executive vice president of global product planning, Andy Palmer, puts it this way, "We have to treat Infiniti, if you will, in the same [way] that Volkswagen treats Audi. It's not a Nissan-plus. Infiniti has to stand head-to-head with any of those German competitors."
Nissan 'Ride of Your Life' campaign turns an Altima into a race car [w/video]
Thu, 08 May 2014Nissan definitely makes some exciting vehicles. The GT-R has received continuous improvements to keep it at the head of the pack in the performance car world. And the Leaf might not bring driving intensity, but its technology is quite impressive. However, there is nothing especially thrilling about the Altima. Granted, it races in the Australian V8 Supercars series, but that car really only shares its basic shape with the production version. So it may see surprising that the Japanese automaker is hoping to inject some drama into its midsize sedan with its new Ride of Your Life ad campaign.
The project is pretty clever. Nissan invited several people to the Horse Thief Mile circuit at Willow Springs Raceway for a ride in an Altima racecar. After a few laps with a professional driver around the course, they pulled into the pits, and the passengers got a big surprise. We won't spoil what happens for you. You can check it out in the video below.
The concept is somewhat similar to Toyota's thrill ride ads for the Camry last year. Both promotions try to show that that these four-door, family sedans can be more than just boring transportation. Nissan's commercials will begin airing on TV soon. The automaker hopes to excite potential Altima buyers ahead of its upcoming national sales event. Scroll down to watch the video to find out the big secret and read the full release about the campaign.
