Very Low Miles, Excellent Condition, Redline Red, 2005 350z Touring on 2040-cars
Jackson, Missouri, United States
HISTORY
This listing is for my 2005 Nissan 350Z Touring. I am the second owner. The previous owner was 6' 2" and was older, so he got tired of getting in and out of such a low vehicle. He traded back into the same Nissan dealership where he bought it. I then bought the car with only 2800 miles on it. The car has been my baby ever since and currently only has 24,000 miles on it. All the routine maintanance has been done to the vehicle and I have 90-100% of the maintanance paperwork. The only oil I've ever used in the car has been Mobile 1 Synthetic and changed it every 5k miles. The car has a clear title. THE CAR My 350Z is Redline red with Glacier white leather interior. It has heated leather, air bags - Bose 7 speaker, 6-CD/cassette stereo. The car came equipped with the 3.5L 287HP, 274 ft-lb engine mated to a 6 speed manual transmission. It has been a fantastic engine and I have never had a problem with it. The car is a fun and fantastic drive. It goes exactly where you point it and is extremely predictable. It has been driven in a spirited fashion (as it should be) but never abused!! I just put on 4 new Mickey Thompson street performance tires that only have about 2000 miles on them. The battery is brand new and bought this past May. I just had the oil changed in June. The interior is in fantastic shape for an almost 10 year old car. The driver side floor mat shows a little wear and there is a small amount of scuffing on the driver seat as you enter the door. Other than that the leather was always conditioned and kept clean. The exterior is in great shape with NO dents or dings. It does have minor rock pecks that come with the normal wear and tear of a car that sits this low. There is one large rock chip on the front of the hood, but the rock did not dent the hood. The exterior has no rust and the car has never seen snow and I always waited for a few good rains to wash away the salt on the roads before driving in the spring, even though Missouri doesn't get much snow. INCLUDED & EXTRAS I've added a few aftermarket parts and options. An Injen cold air intake that increases the horse power by 10-15hp, Nismo oil cap, Nismo premium engine bolt kit and Nismo premium floor mats. I also installed a billet aluminum front grill and changed out the ugly orange side marker lights. ALL of this is included along with 2 fobs, 2 keys, one valet key, the original owners manuals and case. I also have the original window sticker. PAYMENT, PICKUP AND WARRANTY A $500 deposit will be due via Paypal 48 hours at the conclusion of the auction and the remaining amount is due within 7 days. If you have a Zero or negative rating please message me before bidding or it will be cancelled. No warranty should be assumed nor is it implied. The buyer is responsible for arranging pickup/delivery after the funds have gone through. Thank you. |

2022 New York Auto Show Roundup | All the reveals, reviews, pictures
Fri, Apr 15 2022NEW YORK — In case you missed it, the New York Auto Show took place this year after being canceled in both 2020 and 2021 due to Covid. A lot of manufacturers showed up in force, but not everybody did. No matter, we were there, and we brought you news, photos and scoops from the floor throughout the show. All of our New York-related stories can be found at our central hub here, but if youÂ’d rather just get a small taste of everything in a quick and digestible format, keep scrolling. 2023 Kia Telluride and its new X-Pro trim Kia revealed the TellurideÂ’s first major refresh at New York, and it makes the three-row crossover a little bit more desirable without screwing up what we liked about it before. ThereÂ’s a new X-Line and X-Pro trim for someone who might want a little more off-road capability, and a number of tech improvements. Most notably, a newly-designed dash features new and bigger screens. 2023 Hyundai Palisade The TellurideÂ’s sister car from Hyundai was treated to a similar refresh. Like the Telluride, Hyundai gave the Palisade a slightly revised look, a new off-road trim (called XRT in the PalisadeÂ’s case), more tech inside and a new dash design with full-width air vents. If we had to choose, weÂ’re a little more impressed with the TellurideÂ’s refresh, as a number of us on staff actually prefer the pre-refresh Palisade styling over the new one. 2023 Jeep Wagoneer L and Grand Wagoneer L This one was inevitable. Jeep revealed the longer, roomier versions of its Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer in New York, and theyÂ’re designated with an “L” at the end of their names. Total length grows by a foot, and the wheelbase goes up by 7 inches versus the standard Wagoneer models. Jeep has essentially allocated all this extra room to the cargo area, as it now offers a staggering 44.2 cubic-feet of space behind the third row. Besides the L, Jeep announced that its new Hurricane inline-six engine would find its first home in the Wagoneer. Efficiency gets a small boost, and power is more than sufficient at either 420 horsepower (standard output) or 510 horsepower (high-output version) from the twin-turbo I-6. Chrysler Airflow Graphite Concept The Stellantis party continues with Chrysler and its slightly revised Airflow. Re-styled for the New York market after initially debuting at CES in Las Vegas, the Airflow Concept gets new paint, changed accent colors, a slightly changed interior design and a new interpretation of the Chrysler logo.
Nissan IDX sports coupe future increasingly cloudy [w/poll]
Tue, 15 Jul 2014There's a strong desire among enthusiasts for more inexpensive, lightweight, fun-to-drive, rear-wheel-drive cars to exist in a world that contrasts sharply with automakers' desire to make money. While we all love the feeling of controlling the back end with the throttle, front-wheel drive is king when it comes to affordable cars. One of the future bright spots in the rear-drive market appeared to come from Nissan with its pair of IDx concepts. The two showcars from the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show took liberal design inspiration from the classic Datsun 510 and mixed it with modern powertrains in very attractive little packages. However, some pretty dark clouds are reportedly now hanging over the project.
Last we heard, a production version was supposedly "in the plan" from the Japanese automaker, but its trajectory may have changed inside the company in the last few months. According to Pierre Loing, vice president of product planning for Nissan Americas, the issue is making the sports coupe profitable. While Nissan has access to rear-wheel drive platforms, they are all meant for more premium vehicles (read: they cost too much). Assuming around 60,000 annual sales, Loing tells Ward's Auto that making a dedicated chassis for the IDx just isn't a moneymaker. If the car still does see production, it'll be after 2016, he says.
The decision whether to build the IDx has been teetering for a while. Nissan spokesperson Dan Bedore previously told Autoblog that the coupe would need a groundswell of support from consumers and enthusiasts if is to actually have a shot at production. If you are among the hopeful looking to see this affordable, rear-drive performance car in showrooms, get some friends together and start letting Nissan know that you actually want it - you can start here by adding a Comment and voting in our poll, because we're going to send the results on to Nissan.
2023 Japan Mobility Show Mega Photo Gallery: All the highlights and reveals from Tokyo
Fri, Oct 27 2023The 2023 Japan Mobility Show managed to serve up a surprise heap of exciting and futuristic designs and production reveals. Our staff was on the ground in Tokyo for this year's show, where we captured not just all of the latest automotive trends, but some genuinely weird and fascinating stuff. Browse: Some Delightful Oddities of the 2023 Japan Mobility Show But on to the cars. This year's show featured introductions from Daihatsu, Honda, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki and Toyota. Some are weird; some are wild; most are probably destined to change significantly before production or merely fade into the void with the rest of the industry's vaporware, but if even a few of these make it to showrooms, we'll consider it a win. Scroll on down for our live galleries of each of the show's major debuts (and cars we're only now seeing in person for the first time).
