I am the second owner of this fantastic car. I've been a certified auto technician for over a decade now. This car is in excellent condition both cosmetically and mechanically. I only drive it once or twice a week, not my daily driver, so the mileage will increase slowly.
The Enthusiast trimline includes HID headlights and a Limited Slip Differential (LSD)

Now for the good stuff:
"The APS Intercooled Single Turbo system for the 350Z is by far the most extensively engineered, complete and comprehensive single turbo system on the market. Right from the latest technology water cooled dual ball bearing turbocharger and huge vertical flow bar and plate intercooler, through to the APS High Volume oil pan, innovative exhaust tubing, full return constant differential pressure fuel system and APS dual vent blow off valve" - "The ultimate single turbocharger system for the Nissan 350Z"
You can see more on it at APS Single Turbo Kit

The kit includes: Garrett Twin Ball Bearing Turbo, Giant 25” x 9” x 3.5” APS front mount intercooler capable of 600hp with less than 1psi pressure drop, APS High volume intake plenum, Large high capacity 1.25qt more alloy oil pan with cooling fins,  oil return ports, and Baffles to eliminate oil surge, APS twin vent blow off valve, and upgraded Fuel system with Pump, injectors, and plug in wiring harness.
The kit didn't come with a catalytic converters, but one has been installed so this 350z will pass emissions.
Also, the Unichip that comes with the kit has been replaced by TurboXS Utec and Tuner Pro with a Wideband O2 sensor. This allows you to monitor A/F in realtime from the Tuner Pro LCD. Or plug a laptop in and monitor everything with the option of tuning.

The instrumentation was upgraded to Defi BF gauges, Turbo Boost, Oil Pressure, and Exhaust Temperature. A Defi Display is installed with Fuel Pressure, Oil Temperature, and Water Temperature sensors.

Cooling Was upgraded with a Nismo power steering cooler, Mocal oil cooler, and Piper Motorsports custom designed oil destribution plenum and spin-on filter sandwish plate.

Instead of the Brembos that come on the track and Nismo model, the brakes have been replaced with StopTech 13" / 332mm x 32mm Front Big Brake Kit.

Piper Motorsports roll bar, Best I've ever seen at making it look factory. The way did the carpet and upholstery around it is truly professional.

Cobra Suzuka GT Kevlar seats, Nismo Seat/Side Airbag defeat kit (removable for OEM seats) Recaro Side Mounts and Seat Sliders, GForce Pro pull-down 6-point harnesses.

Has a short shifter installed.

So far only Mobil 1 and Purolator PureOne filters, but next change is probably getting Royal Purple.

Nissan Leaf ends 2013 with best sales month ever, but can't catch Chevy Volt

Fri, Jan 3 2014

Nissan and Chevrolet both ended 2013 with solid sales figures for their plug-in vehicles, the first two that were released (all the way back at the end of 2010) from major automakers. As has been the story for most of 2013, December sales for the Nissan Leaf and the Chevy Volt were roughly the same. When we left the year-to-date running tally at the end of November, the Volt was at 20,702, while the Leaf was at 20,080. As you can tell from the image above (if you've been noticing the trend in these EV sales monthly flash-reports), the Leaf outsold the Volt, but was it enough to put the Nissan on top for the year? In 2013, Nissan sold 22,610 Leafs, more than twice as many as in 2012. Almost. The Leaf made a valiant attempt, and did have its best month ever with 2,529 units sold. That means that for 2013, Nissan moved a total of 22,610 Leafs, more than twice as many as in 2012 (that year, Nissan sold only 9,819 Leafs in the US) and actually more than 2012 and 2011 Leaf sales combined (which was 19,493). Nissan continues to see the effects of its price drop and expanded sales areas, with Georgia rapidly becoming a Leaf hotbed. Nissan's Paige Presley said that Atlanta was once again the Leaf's number one market and that, "sales are expanding deeper into Georgia markets such as Macon and Columbus." The Volt saw a boost upwards from a November slump and sold 2,392 units in December. That puts the plug-in hybrid's annual total at 23,094, just down from the 23,461 sold in 2012. For all of 2013, though, the Volt outsold the Leaf by 484 vehicles. In a competition like this, we'll count that as a win for both sides. We will our more detailed monthly green car sales report, which covers more of the fuel efficient vehicles on the market, up soon. Nissan's Ghosn called out by Deltawing's Panoz in print ad

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

When the Nissan ZEOD RC limped to the side of the Circuit de la Sarthe a mere five laps into this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans, we imagine that a certain American motorsports figure at least smirked a little. Don Panoz's ongoing feud with Nissan probably means he wasn't sorry to see the arrow-shaped racecar's poor showing, and now he's stepping up his campaign against his former racing partner.
For those who need a refresher, back in 2012, Panoz and Nissan teamed up to field the DeltaWing, an innovative, wedge-shaped racer, as the first entry in the 24 Hours of Le Mans' experimental Garage 56 concept. The car rapidly became a fan favorite. The Panoz/Nissan alliance didn't last, though, and before long, the DeltaWing's designer was getting a paycheck from Nissan and the ZEOD RC racer arrived. Shortly after that, Panoz began mulling over a lawsuit alleging intellectual property infringement. The American motorsports icon would eventually pull the trigger on a suit back in December of 2013.
Panoz's latest move in the ongoing feud involves an open letter in both The Nashville Tennessean, the paper that serves Nissan's US headquarters, and trade paper Automotive News. The letter calls out Renault-Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn directly, and points out some of the similarities between the DeltaWing and the ZEOD RC, going so far as to quote the original car's designer, Ben Bowlby.

'Qashqai' so hard to pronounce even Nissan is poking fun at it

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

In the US, there aren't a lot of vehicle names that are very difficult to pronounce. Maybe the Volkswagen Touareg might trip up a few people, but by and large, we've got it pretty easy. Our friends in Europe, though, have a bigger challenge, thanks to vehicles like the Nissan Qashqai. Yes, Qashqai.
Like the Touareg, the Qashqai draws its name from a nomadic people. While Nissan isn't making up words, then, it's still not an easy name to pronounce. Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson routinely calls it a kumquat, for example. According to Nissan, though, it's pronounced "Cash'kai".
To get its point across as the second-gen Qashqai, the close cousin of the US market Rogue, prepares to launch in Australia, Nissan set up a little event at a coffee shop. Customers would place their orders, only to have the spelling of their names butchered rather badly. On the other side of the cup, there's a message from Nissan and the Qashqai.
