I'm selling my 2004 GReddy Twin Turbo 350z
It's a great car to drive if you're look for a fast, fun, and eye catching car (literally have people drooling). I'm selling this car because I have 3 vehicles now, and this one won't be getting the driving use that it truly deserves. Exterior -Custom two-tone black and silver paint. Only minor imperfections common to any vehicle with some age -Veil side rear functional spoiler, produces actual down force and adds to the cars great aesthetic -20 inch American racing wheels wrapped in 245/30/20's up front and 275/35/20's in the rear. They are painted to match the silver of the car. They truly help finish the car off. - A mean looking front spoiler/lip -HID headlights -Carbon fiber hood (Legit carbon fiber, not Fiber glass) -Hood pins -Lowering springs in the back, and aftermarket coil overs all the way around Interior -Custom pained center console -3 DEFI Gauges (Boost, Exhaust temp, and oil pressure) along with controller -HKS EVC-S boost controller, with a gauge built into one of the two controllers -HKS A/F knock amp (Not hooked up) -13.5 inch W6V2 JL sub, with JL 500D mono block, plus Tsunami 5 Farad hybrid capacitor -Custom sub box located under frame stiffener in the trunk, directly above rear axle -Nismo shift knob not included, aftermarket red/black one will be instead -Heated seats -Cruise control -Air conditioning -Blitz turbo timer -Bose speakers -Alpine 7-inch touch screen deck, good quality, never misses a beat! Engine Fuel -GReddy 440cc injectors -Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator -Not sure what the fuel pump is, but I know its not stock, Its loud when ignition is cycled to on for about a second, then is dead silent always otherwise. Turbo miscellaneous -GReddy 20G turbos (the larger and better of the 2 kits available for this year) -GReddy FMIC -Airinx Turbo intake filters -GReddy BOV's Other -APS true dual exhaust (Kit values at $2500) -Modelled to replicate the sound of the 911 turbo Carrera muffler with better flow. -If the high flow cats from the kit are taken out the car will have even more power -Oil changes every 3000 miles with synthetic 5w30 -Brand new clutchmasters flywheel with less then 3000 miles --lightweight steel flywheel only 18 pounds, in comparison to the stock 31 (aluminum ones can't dissipate the heat properly, and cause major tranny problems and burn through clutches) -Brand new Jim Wolf Clutch, rated for high horsepower and wont destroy trannies. Used less than 3000 miles -Transmission flush done less then 3000 miles ago It gets amazing fuel economy, and it's a very comfortable and quiet car to travel in. This car was Dyno'd by the previous owner making 402rwhp at 7psi; can be more powerful by simply turning up the boost. I drive around with the boost controller shut off 99% of the time, so it runs on wastegate pressure of 5.6psi. Car Care This car is summer driven only I am very particular with the way it is kept Is stored in a garage overnight and my compound during winters This car is also washed at least once a week and waxed once every two text or call 250 498 7009, I prefer text messages over phone calls, as I am usually unable to answer calls during daytime hours. Nissan reviving Pulsar name for Euro market
Mon, 19 May 2014The Nissan Pulsar doesn't have what we'd consider a rich history in the US, other than on some models decades ago. However, the nameplate has been part of the Nissan lineup globally since 1978 and has proven popular in Asia and Australia. Now, the brand is teasing a five-door hatch to revive the name and hit European showrooms this fall.
The new Pulsar will be built at the company's recently renovated factory in Barcelona, Spain. It's not clear from the teaser whether this is the same model that is already sold in other parts of the world or a brand new vehicle. Although, Nissan says in the announcement that the car "has been designed to meet the specific demands of European car buyers."
With competitors like the Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus, the European five-door hatch market is seriously competitive. It will be interesting to see if Nissan will have something special to bring to the table. Scroll down to read Nissan's full teaser about its latest hatchback in Europe.
West Coast labor dispute hampers Japanese automakers' US plants
Wed, Feb 18 2015The ongoing labor dispute between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and port owners along the West Coast is starting to affect more Japanese automakers building vehicles in the US. The issue already forced Honda and Subaru to take the expensive option of airlifting some parts into the US weeks ago, and according to USA Today, Toyota and Nissan have begun doing so, as well. The choice hasn't been cheap, though, and Subaru's chief financial officer estimated that the decision cost around $60 million more per month than sending components by cargo ship. The effects continue to radiate, according to USA Today, and shortages of some models are possible. Honda is slowing production at its factories in Ohio, Indiana and Canada because the automaker doesn't have enough transmissions and electronics for some vehicles. Toyota already cut back on overtime at some factories. Nissan has only seen a small effect from the issue, though, because of its local suppliers. Dock workers and port owners have been negotiating on a new contract since last year, and the union has organized work slowdowns in response. According to USA Today, the automakers could move shipments to Canada or Mexico, but it would take longer for parts to arrive. Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi pool $200 million to invest in tech startups
Fri, Jan 5 2018PARIS — The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance is setting up a $200 million mobility tech fund, three sources said, in the latest move by major carmakers to adapt to rapid industry change by investing in startups through their own venture capital arms. The fund, due to be unveiled by Chief Executive Carlos Ghosn at the CES tech industry show in Las Vegas next Tuesday, will be 40 percent financed by Renault, 40 percent by Nissan and 20 percent by Mitsubishi. "It will allow us to move faster on acquisitions ahead of our competition," one of the alliance sources told Reuters. Frederique Le Greves, a spokeswoman for the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance, declined to comment. The traditional auto industry model based on individual ownership is threatened by pay-per-use services such as Uber, as well as ride- and car-sharing platforms, a challenge heightened by parallel shifts towards electrified and self-driving cars. Wary carmakers are struggling to embrace changes and technologies that some of their executives are only beginning to grasp. To accelerate the process, many are investing directly in the new services — and gaining access to intellectual property — via their own corporate venture capital (CVC) funds. BMW has purchased stakes in a plethora of ride-sharing, smart-charging and autonomous vehicle software firms through its 500 million euro ($600 million) iVentures fund, the biggest such in-house facility belonging to a carmaker. Among others that have been increasingly active are General Motors' GM Ventures, with $240 million, and Peugeot-maker PSA Group's 100 million-euro investment arm. CVC funds, a familiar feature of innovative sectors such as tech and pharmaceuticals, have become more commonplace among carmakers since the 2008-9 financial crisis. They let companies skip some of the formalities otherwise required for new investments, and pounce more swiftly on promising startups. The Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi venture will also obviate the current need to thrash out the ownership split for each new alliance acquisition. It represents a further step in the integration of the carmakers as they pursue 10 billion euros in annual synergies by 2022. France's Renault holds a 43.4 percent stake in Nissan, which in turn controls Mitsubishi. Ghosn heads Renault and chairs all three.
