Baby's Red 350 Z Convertible

This car has been kept in immaculent condition.  Over the last 13 months, that we've owned the car, it has only had 365 miles put on it since we purchased it.  We kept the car covered, over the past summer with two covers, in a security lot, while we went back to South Dakota to sell our country home so we could move to the Houston area permanently.  The bungie cords did leave a mark on each side of the car at the base of the body where they attached the covers to the car.
Erva, affectionately known as baby just had to have this car.  The speedometer goes to 160 mph.  It has fine grain black leather seats and appointments on the inside and matches the black convertible top.  The fastest we've ever had the car is around 73 mph.  It looks perfect, it runs perfect, and since we have now moved to Houston permanently, the two of us can get along nicely with the Lincoln Town Car and Cadillac.  The only thing that we've changed on the car was to buy a new battery, new stickers, etc. when we got back to Texas.  This car is some looker.  We've never had the top down because we don't know how to get it down, but the dealer put it down and up for us prior to us purchasing the car.
If you want a car that is beautiful and fast, then this may be just be the car for you.  This fine automobile can be seen by appointment only and our grown son can go on a test drive for pre-qualified buyers with you.  Enjoy!!

Infiniti moves to trademark Eau Rouge

Sun, 24 Aug 2014

With Formula One taking to Belgium and the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit this weekend - boasting a reputation as one of the most beautiful courses on the calendar - all eyes will likely be on the tricky Eau Rouge corner, which challenges drivers' high-speed car control over a rolling, tree-lined hill. Infiniti played on the turn's iconic legacy for its ruby red Q50 Eau Rouge concept, and now the brand hopes to trademark the famous racing name so it can keep using it for a potential production version.
In January, the company filed for a trademark on Eau Rouge for "Automobiles and their structural parts; Fuel cell automobiles and their structural parts; Concept cars" with the US Patent and Trademark Office. According to Bloomberg, the application is still under consideration and not yet a guarantee. It's possible that the track could attempt to block the automaker from earning rights to the name. Alternatively, a trademark lawyer tells Bloomberg that the two of them could also strike a deal where Infiniti would pay a small amount for each car sold bearing the title, which could give Spa a bit of extra money in the bank.
Regardless of the name, a vehicle like the Eau Rouge is something enthusiasts have been wanting for years. It combines a modified, 560-horsepower version of the engine from the Nissan GT-R into a four-door sedan covered in aggressive, carbon fiber aerodynamic parts.

Updated Nissan Micra gets fresh look, more tech and 'New' name

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

A few months ago, Nissan gave the Micra (which is not for US consumption) a substantial styling update that included new front and rear fascias, and stuffed more technology into the interior, such as USB ports and auxiliary inputs for audio and a new media touchscreen. Though it's still based on the same fourth-generation architecture, Nissan now calls it the New Micra.
Overall the New Micra - also known as March in some markets - looks similar to but more taut than the vehicle that launched in late 2010, thanks to more angular headlights, a new bumper, a sculpted hood and a revised grille with the Nissan logo sitting inside a chrome V, which establishes a stronger link to Nissan's "corporate look." The rear end receives less-drastic changes, such as a new bumper, LED taillamps and a new infill panel at the bottom of the tailgate.

Nissan prices limited-edition 2014 GT-R Track Edition from $115,710*

Wed, 01 May 2013

Nissan has released its pricing for the model-year 2014 GT-R, including the new Track Edition of Godzilla. The 2014 Nissan GT-R Premium will now command an MSRP of $99,590, while the Black Edition will go for $109,300 and the new Track Edition will ask $115,710 (*not including a $1,000 destination and handling charge for all models).
Nissan calls the GT-R Track Edition its most exclusive model, which makes sense as it will be limited to just 150 examples for the US market. The competition-ready Track Edition gets Bilstein DampTronic shocks and revised spring rates; all chosen after more development work by Nissan engineers at the Nürburgring. (Good work, if you can get it.) A carbon fiber rear spoiler and six-spoke black wheels come with the package, as do blue-trimmed, high-grip front seats inside. To save weight, the car's rear seats have been deleted in this model.
