2004 Nissan 350z Touring Coupe 2-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Lincoln, Nebraska, United States
Up or bid is a pre-owned 2004 Black Nisson 350z Touring Coupe - with approximately 63,300 miles. This is a very sharp car and is fun to drive. This car has a rebuilt title, but this car has no mechanical problems (I have owned it for
four years and have put close to 12k miles on it...it was never driven during
winters). Visually and electronically it is in great condition, with the
interior being practically perfect. It has a little used wear and tear, but
over all I've taken great care of the car and have treated it like part of my
family. It has a great sporty sound and will turn heads. It has sound dampening to provide a quiet ride, which is perfected by the leather racing seats. The sound system is superb. I am upgrading, which is the only reason I'm selling. Please read entire listing prior to contacting me. Additional information:
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CAR From what was published on the CarFax report, this car was in a collision in 2009. I did not own the car when the accident took place. The mileage at the time of the accident is listed as 45,454. The insurance company declared the car a total loss and sold it as a “Rebuilt/Salvage” vehicle. The car was repaired in Indiana (I do not have any additional information about the accident or the repairs). A “Rebuilt/Salvage” Title was issued. I purchased the vehicle from a private seller in April 2010. Since then I have driven this car as my primary vehicle (except in the winter when it was garaged). Since I've owned this car I have personally put around 12,000 miles on it with no mechanical issues. I took really good care of this while I owned it, and love the car. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I'm upgrading. REALLY IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! In order for a vehicle that is branded with a “rebuilt /salvage” title to be registered in Nebraska, the DMV will do an inspection to verify that it is safe to drive. If you are interested in buying this car I suggest that you either inspect this car yourself or arrange for someone to do so for you. If desired I will take it to a mechanic of the buyers choice (and at the buyers expense) within the city limits of Lincoln, Nebraska for an inspection. I have tried to describe this car as accurately as possible. I encourage an inspection so you know the car has been well taken care of. I am not a mechanic or body repairman. In listing this car I am stating what I know about this car from owning it for 4 years and from driving it. If you decide to purchase this car, a $500.00 deposit will be required through PayPal at the time of purchase - the balance will be due in cash or cashiers check when the car is picked up. When the buyer arrives to get the car, and upon inspection the buyer no wishes to purchase this car, the deposit will be refunded minus the eBay and PayPal fees. This car is being sold "As Is." Once the car is purchased and the title is handed over or sent to the buyer, the car belongs to the buyer. Returns will not be accepted. I have purchased a CarFax for this car and am happy to forward a copy of it if you are interested. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to send me a message by email (or to get my phone number to talk more), to set up a time to see it, etc. Thank you for looking. |

Recharge Wrap-up: Shift to offer Teslas for Hire, Model S P85D beats Ferrari in drag race
Mon, Dec 15 2014A company called Shift plans to provide bikes and EVs for hire. Based in Las Vegas, NV, Shift will provide chauffeured ride services like Uber, but will also include a car- and bike-sharing service that delivers the desired wheels to the customer. Shift's fleet will include EVs like the Smart Fortwo Electric Drive and the Tesla Model S. Shift also promises that you will, "Be on your way within five minutes," which is a pretty tall order. Shift is scheduled to be available to members beginning this fall. Read more at The Car Connection. Nissan UK has confirmed the price of replacement batteries for the Leaf. UK drivers will be able to buy new batteries for 4,920 pounds (or about $7,738). That's considerably more than the price of $5,499 for US customers. Customers get 1,000 pounds back when they exchange their old battery. The original battery is covered under a five-year, 60,000-mile warranty, and most owners will never need to replace it. According to Nissan, only three replacement batteries have been sold out of 30,000 Leafs sold in Europe. Read more at Autocar. The Tesla Model S P85D walloped a Ferrari in an impromptu drag race video. The Ferrari driver pulls up alongside the Tesla and asks, "What you got in there?" before challenging him to a race. The Ferrari gets a head start, but the Tesla pulls out ahead quickly. The video also gets the reactions of some passengers to the car's mighty acceleration. See the video below and read the account of a drag race against a Lamborghini Aventador at Car Throttle. Australian website Drive has chosen their Cars of the Year in various categories. The Tesla Model S was a carryover winner for Luxury Car Over $80,000, but the Mercedes-Benz C200 narrowly overtook it to be crowned the overall winner. Regarding the Model S, one judge says, "This makes every other EV look at least a generation behind." The main thing that held the Tesla back from winning outright was the near-term lack of charging infrastructure. The judges did note Tesla's plans to build a network of Superchargers in Australia, but also pointed out that those plans exclude much of the country so far. Nissan confirms what's in the box
Tue, 28 Jan 2014While there were few doubts about what could've been hiding under the giant cardboard box being transported on a flatbed truck earlier this month, Nissan has officially confirmed that it was, in fact, a Versa Note being delivered from Amazon.
As a part of the special promotion, online shoppers who bought a Versa Note using the retailing giant also received a $1,000 Amazon gift card. Scroll down to watch how the car was packaged and shipped as well as what the buyer did with all that cardboard.
Nissan had to re-edit this commercial two times to placate Aussie ad watchdog [w/poll]
Fri, 02 Aug 2013Nissan recently aired a commercial in Australia for its Pulsar SSS hatchback - think of it as a five-door relative of our Sentra - in which a couple is seen hastily making their way to the hospital ahead of giving birth. But the ad you can watch now isn't the same ad that aired originally - in fact, Nissan had to re-edit the commercial twice before the Australian Advertising Standards Bureau (ASB) would accept it.
According to Go Auto, the original ad received complaints that it depicted unsafe and reckless driving, including speeding, following cars too closely and screeching to a halt upon arriving at the hospital. One of the complaints reportedly read: "The advertisement promotes driving behavior (rapid acceleration/deceleration/changes of direction) that is counter to sound medical advice regarding the carriage of heavily pregnant women in motor vehicles."
In the first edit, Nissan lowered the vehicle's engine noise, removed the woman's speech urging the man to drive faster ("Go, go, go!") and inserted a disclaimer that read "Filmed under controlled conditions," according to Go Auto, but all of that still wasn't enough to appease the ASB.
