2003 Nissan 350z Touring Coupe 2-door 3.5l 87k Miles Runs Great on 2040-cars
Hartford City, Indiana, United States
03 Nissan 350Z Selling my Nissan 350Z Touring Coupe with a clean title in hand and very mechanically sound. Pick up and drive across the country with reliability.Only 87xxx miles on the clock. It sits on 18" rims and staggered tires. The rear tires are brand new ($500) maybe 300 miles on them. Carbon Fiber mirror covers are installed ($200)Vehicle has plenty of get up and go and handles like it is on rails. I believe the factory rating is close to 300HP. Has the Bose audio system installed from the factory which includes a Bose 10" sub and amp and a 6 disc in dash changer. Audio sounds great for a factory set up. I had a new aftermarket front clip installed and painted about a month ago. The front end has a much more aggressive look to it. I love it! The shop probably could have done a better job of paint matching but overall it is not too bad (See Pics). I also had a couple of shopping cart dings repaired on the passenger side. All in all it cost me close to a grand just a few months ago. Overall the interior is in great condition-Leather has no cracks. The car is not driven very often; it is a third vehicle. 6 speed manual transmission and ice cold AC. This car is equipped with cruise control, Xenon lights (New Bulbs included), limited slip Differential, power locks and power windows although the passenger window probably needs a new motor. It has been like this since I bought it and it never really bothered me to get it repaired. It could just be a simple relay as I do hear the motor making the clicking sound when you hit the button. Power seats that are a little temperamental-sometimes the passenger seat sticks. There is no rust anywhere on this vehicle. There are a few scratches here and there but nothing very significant. Feel free to ask any questions- I am a honest seller and will answer any questions to the best of my ability. I am not in a bind to sell the vehicle so if it doesn't reach the reserve, I will just keep it. I will entertain offers but no low ball offers please.

Japan court adds 10 more days to Ghosn's detention
Sun, Dec 23 2018A Japanese court on Sunday extended for 10 days the detention of ousted Nissan chairman Carlos Ghosn, who is facing new allegations of making the car maker shoulder $16.6 million in personal investment losses. The extension announced by the Tokyo District Court means Ghosn will remain in Tokyo's main detention center, where he has been confined since his arrest last month on initial allegations of financial misconduct. Ghosn was re-arrested on Friday based on suspicions that around October 2008 he shifted personal trades to Nissan to make it responsible for 1.85 billion yen ($16.6 million) in appraisal losses, prosecutors said. They said the move inflicted damage on Nissan by having it deposit a total of $14.7 million on four occasions between June 2009 and March 2012 into a related bank account. 2015 Nissan Micra
Mon, 19 May 2014Several years ago, poutine started showing up on the menus of a number of Detroit-area restaurants. For those unfamiliar with the Canadian specialty, it involves serving up french fries, gravy and cheese curds all in one artery-clogging heap. It's not really my thing, but the comfort-food dish has caught hold here in The D, and many absolutely swear by it. In a country where we happily serve Double Down sandwiches, and where competitive eating qualifies as sport, it's hard to believe le poutine isn't spreading like wildfire.
Given Detroit's proximity to Canada, it's not surprising that this culinary creation has managed to find its way across the border. The same thing goes for cars - we Detroiters are routinely privy to lots of Great White North imports. No, we can't buy not-for-US vehicles like the Nissan X-Trail, Mercedes-Benz B-Class (at least, the gasoline version), or now-discontinued products like the Honda Civic-based Acura CSX or EL before it. But Ontario-plated examples of these cars can be seen all the time here in southeast Michigan - it's a far more common occurrence than you might think.
These days, it's rare that an automaker will introduce a model to Canada without offering it up in the United States - especially a car that stands to do big things for a company's presence in North America. But with this 2015 Nissan Micra, that's exactly what's happened; Nissan's US arm has repeatedly stated that there are no plans to offer the car in Yankeeland. Why is the Micra so important? This five-door hatchback enters Canada with the coveted title of being the most affordable new car in the country: just $9,998 Canadian (CAD) to start. In fact, the Micra launches to our north just as the larger, four-door Versa Sedan is phased out in Canada - a vehicle that holds the lowest-cost title here in the US, at $11,990 USD.
Meet the man who took a year sabbatical to drive his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster
Tue, 28 Jan 2014A quiet drive in the country can be the most relaxing thing in the world. What if it didn't have to end, and you could keep driving for a week, a month or even a whole year? That's what Scott Fisher is doing by taking a one-year sabbatical from work and driving his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster around North America.
"I had owned a manufacturing business in Las Vegas for 16 years. I knew I needed to kinda' get out, and unwind, and get my mojo back," said Fisher.
Fisher's trip has covered over 30,000 miles through 44 states and 7 Canadian Provinces, and it is not over yet. He left from his home in Las Vegas, NV, last spring and drove to the Pacific. From there, he drove up the coast to the Canadian border and aimed the car for the Atlantic. He just posted on his blog about visiting the Nissan headquarters and museum in Franklin, TN, and his next stops are Mississippi and New Orleans, LA.
