This is one of the cleanest Z sports car you'll find for sale anywhere. This 2003 Nissan 350Z is bone stock and unmolested. It was always adult owned and garaged. It's never seen winter and doesn't have a lick of rust. Your friends and family will be jealous to see you in this ride :)

Everything is a 9/10 if not 10/10.....with one exception. The transmission has worn out syncros in third gear. I brought it to a Nissan dealer and had this diagnosed recently. This makes the transmission grind when going into third gear if you shift fast. Shift slow in that gear and it works fine. The body, interior, engine, suspension, etc are in excellent condition. I have lowered the price because of this. I'm flexible to work with you to make sure you get a good deal and a good working car.

This car has almost 300 HP stock and can easily be built up to 400 to 500HP. OR keep it purely original as a show car or Sunday driver. It drives and handles like a true super-sports car. Nissan made the suspension and steering stiff and ultra responsive. There is no body roll or delay when making quick maneuvers. I've been a Nissan sports car owner for 15 years. I've owned and driven almost all the Zs in the Nissan Z line up. And this 350Z is by far the best Nissan has made.

Factory OEM Options:
HID Headlights, Alarm System
Remote Entry, 6 Speaker Stereo W/ CD Player
Power windows, locks & mirrors
Traction control (can be turned off to spin tires)
Airbags, anti-lock brakes, garage door opener
Cruise control, tilt wheel, MPG gauge
3.5 liter V6, 6 speed manual, rear wheel drive
Aluminum Alloy Rims
Aluminum Hood & suspension components, rear window wiper and washer fluid squirter
And much more!

It has a recent inspection & oil change from April. The tires are new BF Goodrich G Force Sports with about 2kmi driven on them. I have a lot of records for it and paperwork that came from the dealer when originally purchased. It has the original floor mats and cargo area net. the driver's side floor mat has a small hole work through where the gas pedal foot heel goes. Besides that, they look great. I think it's the performance trim, but I'm not sure. I know it has a LSD.

I hate to sell this Z, but I need the money!

Test drives are available for serious buyers in Auburn NY, 13021. Offers made without seeing the car in person may not be taken seriously.

Trades: I want to sell this for cash, but I might consider partial trade for a cheaper Nissan car or sport bike.

A couple quick notes on buying any car.
1. Drive the car before making an offer; it shows you're serious and lets you know what you're buying.
2. Apply for a loan (if you need it) before making an offer.
3. Have a mechanic of your choice look it over; it's cheep insurance.
4. Ask lots of questions.
5. Buy something super fast and enjoy the summer weather!

Carlos Ghosn re-arrested and thrown back in jail [UPDATE]

Thu, Apr 4 2019

TOKYO — Tokyo prosecutors arrested Nissan's former chairman Carlos Ghosn on Thursday for a fourth time, on fresh allegations that cut short his brief time outside detention. Early in the morning, Ghosn was taken from his apartment in Tokyo to the prosecutors' office and then sent to the Tokyo Detention Center, the same facility where he spent more than three months following his arrest in November. He had been released on bail just a month earlier. It's unclear how long Ghosn may be detained under the latest arrest, which involves what prosecutors said was a new alleged crime. "My arrest this morning is outrageous and arbitrary," Ghosn said in a statement issued Thursday. "It is part of another attempt by some individuals at Nissan to silence me by misleading the prosecutors. Why arrest me except to try to break me? I will not be broken. I am innocent of the groundless charges and accusations against me." The prosecutors defended the move, saying the latest allegations are a new case requiring precautions to prevent Ghosn from destroying evidence. They allege $5 million in funds sent by a Nissan subsidiary to an overseas dealership were diverted to a company controlled by Ghosn. "We now have a totally different case, and we are only doing what we think is right," Shin Kukimoto, deputy chief prosecutor at the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office, told reporters. "As a result of our investigation, we have a new case in which he must be detained, and we have appropriately obtained an arrest warrant from the court," he said. Ghosn, 65, was first arrested on Nov. 19 on charges of under-reporting his compensation. He was rearrested twice in December, including on breach of trust charges. The multiple arrests prolong detentions without trial and are an oft-criticized prosecution tactic in Japan's criminal justice system. The allegations in the most recent arrest cover three money transfers from 2015 through last year, according to the prosecutors. Kukimoto said the new allegation of breach of trust is different from an earlier charge made in January. The companies where the money was transferred to, the motives, and the alleged scheme are all different, he said. He refused to identify the three companies allegedly involved but said one company was in effect owned by Ghosn. Unlike an earlier case, in which Ghosn caused damage to Nissan to benefit himself and a business partner, this time it was merely "for his own personal benefit," Kukimoto said.

Nissan executive Jun Seki resigns to become president of Nidec

Tue, Dec 24 2019

YOKOHAMA, Japan — The executive tasked with leading a recovery at Nissan said he had decided to resign just weeks into his new job, a move that could disrupt the automaker's push to turn the corner on scandal and slumping sales. Jun Seki, Nissan's vice chief operating officer and a former contender for chief executive, told Reuters he was leaving to become the president of Nidec, a Kyoto-based manufacturer of automotive components and precision motors. He will likely depart in January after three decades at Nissan, including a stint heading its China business. "I love Nissan and I feel bad about leaving the turnaround work unfinished, but I am 58 years old, and this is an offer I could not refuse. It's probably my last chance to lead a company too," he said in a brief interview. "It's not about money. In fact, I will take a financial hit since Nissan pays us well," Seki said. He declined to elaborate further. Nissan and Nidec declined to comment. Seeking to roll back some of the costly expansion under ousted chairman Carlos Ghosn, Nissan has embarked on wide-ranging turnaround plan. That plan, which began in April, is now on track to generate a cumulative few hundred billion yen in cost cuts and operational efficiency gains by the year to March 2022, according to two Nissan sources who spoke on condition of anonymity. One hundred billion yen is roughly equal to $915 million (707 million pounds). Adding to concerns about disruption among Nissan's top management, the sources said that Seki, Chief Operating Officer Ashwani Gupta and Chief Executive Makoto Uchida have so far failed to gel as a team after being named to their posts in October. They officially took over on Dec. 1. "There was no instant, cohesive chemistry achieved by those appointments," one of the sources said. Gupta and Uchida were not immediately available for comment. Seki's resignation could further complicate Nissan's relationship with top shareholder Renault SA. Seki recently worked in Paris for a year and was seen as relatively close to the French automaker. PERSUADED IN THE END Asked if he was leaving Nissan because he was passed over for the role of chief executive, Seki said that was not the case but did not elaborate. He and Uchida, most recently the head of the China business, had been seen as top contenders for the CEO job. Reuters reported in September that Uchida was seen as more favored by Renault.

Nissan Leaf resale value expected to take a hit

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

Nissan Leaf resale values may take a tumble, according to Kelley Blue Book. The vehicle evaluation resource said the 2013 Nissan Leaf will retain around 35 percent of its MSRP after three years; that's down five percent from what KBB gave the 2012 Leaf at the end of 2011. Automotive News reports KBB adjusted the EV's residual value prediction because the used transaction prices for the 2011 model have stuck around 35 percent for the past few months due to relatively cheap gasoline, not to mention the fact that Nissan trimmed the electric's MSRP from $36,050 to $29,650 before the $7,500 tax credit.
Since used buyers are often motivated by more practical buying concerns than early adopters or those wanting to curb their carbon emissions, they may not be willing to pay more for an EV. Meanwhile, early Leaf models are now coming to auction, abandoned by rental car companies after customers shunned them in favor of traditional internal-combustion vehicles. Many of those at auction have less than 10,000 miles and carry an average transaction price of just $13,700.
