For sale is my pride and joy.

This is a heavily modded 350z track edition.  It runs beautifully and will glue you to the seat.  I have spent a lot of wrench time and TLC with her and put in many many upgrades which I will include below.  The transmission is a brand new rebuild and details will be listed below as well.  I was planning on ironing out the wrinkles this year and cruising to some car shows, but real life is in the way and she needs to go.  No trades, I need the cash from her.  So here is the details of the car:

Interior:

-Custom painted piano black with red and silver pinstriping.  There are slight problems with some of the paint.  The waterfall has a chip and the center console has a small crack from wear.  Very minor imperfections that would probably go unnoticed.
-Custom shift boot/ebrake boot/ arm rest and console cover from redlinegoods.com.  If you know RLG.com you know that they do the end all, be all of custom upholstry.
-Custom black diamond plate floor mats.
-AMAZING STEREO.  CDT audio carbon fiber front components, JL audio fill tweeters.  JLw6v2 in custom sub enclosure.  Elemental Designs and phoenix gold xs2500, Two amps that are not being made anymore, that are known tanks.  They are very hard to come by.  Custom Amp rack and custom lighting. Alpine Type R rear fill midbass speakers.  Premier DEH-P860MP Head unit.  This head unit has the highest preamp volts still today.
Custom shift knob

Exterior:
I tried to remain true to the stock 350z with minor changes.
-Pearl black emblems
-Carbon fiber inserts.
-Falken Tires
-30mm project kiks wheel spacers all around.

Nissan teases New York-bound 2015 Murano

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

It was over a month ago when we received reports that Nissan would be unveiling the new Murano at the New York Auto Show next month. Now the Japanese automaker has confirmed its imminent arrival, offering up the brief teaser clip below to give us a very faint idea of what to expect.
In announcing the Murano's upcoming debut in Manhattan, the company described the Murano as "the halo vehicle for Nissan's expanding range of bold crossovers and SUVs," previewing the design that will distinguish a whole range of Nissans to follow.
Short of that, we've got little to go on, but we're expecting to see some traits from the Resonance concept of 2013 Detroit vintage finding their way onto the production version of a vehicle that has always been rather stylized from the start. Something (sales figures, perhaps?) tells us that the oddball CrossCabriolet will get lost along the way, not that we'll mind.

Nissan EV design is diverging in three directions

Tue, Jan 21 2014

As the movie awards season kicks into high gear, Nissan design chief Shiro Nakamura appears to be implying that his company's electric-vehicle design prospects are about to go from Philomena into The Wolf of Wall Street territory. Nakamura, speaking with Motor Authority at the Detroit Auto Show last week, allowed that the design of the five-seat Nissan Leaf is fairly conservative and will remain so given that the model continues to be the most practically-minded EV from the company. In the near future, though, Nissan is planning to head in different directions. Specifically, an all-electric sports car and a two-seat commuter vehicle that could come with in-wheel electric motors that will allow the designs to get more radical. How radical? Well, we've heard Nissan may bring the BladeGlider concept (pictured) it unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show late last year to production. It has a narrow front and wider rear and a 1+2 seating arrangement. Beyond that, Nissan has the two-seat Esflow concept vehicle it showed off in 2011 that could provide some hints, since it's expected that some of the design components from that car will be worked into the upcoming production models.

Nissan's crowdsourced Project Titan is ready to tackle Alaska [w/videos]

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

Alaska still offers Americans the chance to really experience the wilderness, and Nissan is challenging its Titan pickup to its offroad extremes with a little help from its fans. After crowdsourcing a heap of mods, the company is handing it over to two Wounded Warrior Project Alumni to do their worst in the backcountry to see what the truck can do.
Nissan last experimented with the crowdsourcing idea on its Project 370Z in 2012 but might have taken things even further this time. For Project Titan, the automaker let fans vote on 10 different areas to customize on a 2014 Titan Crew Cab PRO-4X. To fit the rugged look, the company covered it up with a custom digital-camouflage wrap with a Wounded Warrior Project emblem and even outfitted its all-terrain camping trailer in a similar scheme. An LED lighting rig was also added to the new bull bar and roof rack to brighten the night. For a just little more grunt, the 5.6-liter V8 was outfitted with a Nismo cold-air intake and Borla cat-back exhaust, and to keep from getting stuck, the pickup got an upgraded suspension with more travel and 18-inch wheels with 35-inch Nitto offroad tires. The interior was also slightly revised with big GPS system and custom embroidered seats.
Now, it's time to see if the truck's mods can handle what the Alaskan wilderness can throw at it. The two Wounded Warrior Project Alumni are just starting their expedition and are expecting snow on the way. Scroll down to watch three build videos for the Titan and read Nissan's official announcement. You can also follow their journey on Nissan Trucks' Facebook page.
