2005 Nissan 350z, Only 37,335 Miles!, Spoiler, Subwoofer, Bluetooth Stereo on 2040-cars
Los Angeles, California, United States
This car is a stunner, I mean, look at it. And since it only has 37.3k miles, it runs like a dream. Purchased from a dealership in 2005, it was covered in an indoor garage for three years while I traveled the world from 2006-2009, hence the low miles. I came back to the US and drove it from 2009-today.
I got that Nismo spoiler on it, and it makes it look so sleek; like a ninja. Like a ninja in the night. I got that SUBWOOFER, put right behind the driver's seat. Do you know what that means? That means that you literally FEEL THE BASS, and with that powerful amplifier in the back, it really booms. Sounds AMAZING. I got those sick ROH rims on it that make it look unlike any Z on the road. I got that red powder-coat on the wheels and grill that precisely match the red on the rear lights so it just looks HOT. How hot? It gets me laid. Seriously. Guys love it because it looks sharp: that dash of color on the black body. Girls LOVE IT because it looks sexy and, when you're driving around in this thing, YOU LOOK SEXY. You look so hot. It's physically impossible not to look hot driving this thing. I have guys and girls in their brand new 370Z's checking me out all the time is how hot this looks. Seriously. It's got that stereo with CD player, and most importantly, BLUETOOTH: you get in the car, your phone automatically hooks right up to the Bluetooth and you're bumping your favorite iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, you name it. Calls as well! This music system really sounds awesome. And when you press that gas pedal down, you better have your head on the headrest because it's gonna whip back with the force of 300 HORSEPOWER ROARING TO LIFE! No joke, this thing goes and the exhaust note is superb. It's just so fun to drive, if I can impress one thing on you it's that this is one of the most fun times I've had in a car ever. Yeah it's got some small dings. Sure it's got a scuff or two here and there, this thing has been around since 2005 after all, but you really don't see any of it unless you're standing really close. No one notices them, and I didn't even notice some till I took the photos. But they're all in the condition description. If you would like photos of any blemishes, let me know and I'll email them over. Most importantly, it's got a clear record: never been in an accident ever. It saddens me to sell this car because I really, truly, love it. And I know you will too. |

Convocation of eagles takes over bed of Nissan pickup
Mon, 13 May 2013Let this be a lesson to those of you who plan to visit Unalaska, Alaska (yes, it's a real city on Unalaska Island in the Aleutian Islands): If you park at Safeway with a garbage bag full of fish fillets in your pickup's bed, the eagles will find you. That's what happened above when an unidentified man parked his Nissan and returned to find a convocation of bald eagles feasting on his fish.
Neither the man nor those parked near his truck could get to their cars for fear of getting a beatdown from The 'Murica Bird, and police were called to break it up, which they did with neither beast nor fowl injured in the process.
Other than being awesome watching, other things we can take away from this video are the question who comes up with bird gathering names (a "murmuration" of herons and an "unkindness" of ravens?), and the bounty of this comment left by user "Abraham" at the KUCB news report: "It's just that the luxury edition has so much more eagle, it saddens me to think of you missing out." See what caused it all in the video below.
Nissan Canada to end Versa sales with Micra launch
Mon, 24 Feb 2014There's plenty of space in Canada. In fact, with the second largest land mass of any country in the world, Canada has a population density of just nine people per square mile. But apparently there isn't enough room for more than one cheap Nissan in the True North, Strong and Free.
As you may recall, Nissan Canada recently announced it would begin offering the Micra hatchback with a starting price of less than ten thousand Canadian dollars - significantly less than the nearly $12k it charges for the Versa sedan. As a result, Nissan will reportedly cease offering the Versa sedan in new home of the olympic gold medal for hockey.
Apparently the Versa was a slow seller in Canada, a country in which European tastes tend to prevail - particularly in the Eastern provinces - more than they do in the United States to the south. Nissan evidently hopes that the Micra (a model created principally for the European market) will do better than the American-centric Versa ever did there. According to sales numbers cited by Automotive News, Nissan sold barely more than 12,000 Versa sedans and hatchbacks in Canada last year, but over 117,000 in the United States.
Nissan bringing 'New Sedan Concept' to Beijing Motor Show
Mon, 10 Mar 2014During the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, Nissan showed off its Sport Sedan Concept (pictured above), an orange creation meant to foreshadow the next generation of the brand's "Four-Door Sports Car," the Maxima. For the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, though, Nissan is going to deliver a Chinese take on a future four-door, with the New Sedan Concept (imaginative name, we know).
Like the Nissan Friend-Me Concept from the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show, the NSC has been designed by Nissan Design China in Beijing. Outside of that, information is in short supply. Nissan claims this latest concept is targeted at the Chinese digital lifestyle. Whether it serves as an evolution of the Friend-Me's swoopy design or a regional take on Nissan's Detroit concept, though, remains to be seen.
We'll have the full slate of info on the Nissan New Sedan Concept, along with everything else that happens at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, when the floor opens on April 23. Take a look below for the official press release from Nissan, which also includes a recap of previously debuted models that will be shown at Beijing.
