This is a very nice 2005 350z that we are pleased to offer for sale. Vehicle is in good condition, no accident history, runs and drives great, ac and all accessories are in good working order, no warning lights of any kind.
Drive train appears to be in good working order, engine runs great, does not burn or leak any oil. Transmission shifts great, does have a slight grind when downshifting into 5th if you downshift too quickly. Clutch is in great shape and engages perfectly, tires are in decent shape, Michelins all around. Brakes feel great and have lots of life left. The body is in great shape, it does have some dings on the passenger door, also some slight indentations by the gas door, I tried to get those in a picture. Also there is one ding in the hood near the left headlight. There is no rust on the body, its in great shape, the paint is in good shape except for the hood and front bumper. It appears to have a lot of rock chips in the paint especially on the hood. I tried to get a picture of that, the car looks great in the pictures, in person the imperfections on the hood paint is very obvious. I can try to get more specific pictures if desired. Interior is in nice shape, in the pictures the ash tray is missing but we have one on order. The biggest imperfection on the interior is the driver seat has a cigarette burn on the bottom, otherwise it is in quite nice shape inside. Every accessory works correctly, AC and radio work fine with no problems. Car is in nice shape, could use some paint work to be perfect, otherwise it is nice. Nissan poised to nearly double exports from US by 2015 [w/video]
Tue, 27 Aug 2013As a part of a plan to double its US export volume by 2015, Nissan started shipping 2014 Pathfinder SUVs from its plant in Smyrna, TN to Australia and New Zealand. These Pathfinders are not only the first right-hand-drive models Nissan has exported from the US, but their 10,000-mile journey through the Gulf of Mexico and across the Pacific is also the automaker's furthest export.
Products from the Smyrna plant are exported to 61 different countries, and Nissan's export volume from the US will account for around 14 percent of its production this year, which is two percent more than 2012. Helping all this is the fact that by early next year, Nissan's production in North and South America will top two million units thanks to added capacity in the US and new plants in Mexico and Brazil. Nissan raises base GT-R price to $101,770 for 2014
Tue, 21 Jan 2014Nissan has announced a few pricing tweaks for the 2015 GT-R, one of which pushes the most basic variant past $100,000 for the first time. The 2014 cost of entry was $99,590, while the 2015 GT-R starts at $101,770.
The GT-R Black Edition, meanwhile, will demand $111,510, up from 2014's $109,300. The GT-R Track Edition retains the $115,710 asking price of the 2014 car. The price increases on the base and Black Edition come with some additional goodies that should soften the blow to pocketbooks, including a retuned suspension that promises a "more sophisticated ride," while LED headlights come standard. Bose Active Noise Cancellation has also been added to the 2015 GT-R, as has a new interior color option on the base model. Interestingly, the destination charge for the 2015 GT-R has climbed dramatically, from 2014's $1,000 to $1,595 for the latest car. We've reached out to Nissan to see why there was such a big increase, and will update as soon as we have an update.
About 20k Nissan Pathfinder, Infiniti JX models recalled for potentially faulty brakes
Fri, 19 Apr 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder and 2013 Infiniti JX due to a problem with the front brakes. The problem is a result of the brake torque member (a part that attaches the brake caliper to the front suspension), which was cast improperly with a structural weakness that could possibly lead to "reduced braking, increasing the risk of a crash," according to NHTSA. How, you ask? If the part breaks, the brake caliper could move position and possibly make contact with the wheel.
Around 20,000 of these sister crossovers are being recalled, but it doesn't sound like all were equipped with the faulty component. Dealers will inspect vehicles built between December 3, 2012 and January 29, 2013, and replace components from the defective batch. The recall goes into effect next month, but until then, the official recall notice is posted below with information for how owners can contact Nissan.
