I am selling a 2003 Nissan 350Z Touring. This car is being sold as part of an estate sale. It has a clean title (no liens or anything), was never in any type of accident, and has always been babied and dealer maintained. It has had only one elderly owner, and only 29K original miles on it. The outside is a rare European orange, and the inside is black leather with orange stitching. The car has all options and is fully fully loaded- automatic transmission, full leather interior, xenon lights, heated seats, bose sound system, 6 CD changer/cassette, keyless entry, etc. It is in great mechanical condition and has always been dealer serviced by the owner. It needs nothing, and will drive you anywhere. EXTERIOR: The outside of the car is in excellent condition. It was always garage kept, and definitely shows it. No dents/scratches, nothing like that. Only one minor scrape on right rear quarter panel that was touched up years ago (pictured). Paint is overall very glossy and looks beautiful! INTERIOR: The interior of the car is in excellent condition as well. The leather seats all look great, heat is hot/AC is cold, and all power/electronic options work as they should. It is a non-smoker car. MECHANICALLY Let me first start out by saying that I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car tomorrow from New York to Florida and then back. Given the mileage and condition, you can be assured it is in excellent shape mechanically. The car has always been looked upon and does not currently need anything. Maintenance has always been kept on it, and it's ready to go anywhere. As a final note, all I can say is that this car is in excellent condition all around. If you're looking for an ultra-low mileage Nissan 350Z that was babied from day one, this is it. Please know the car is being sold AS-IS without any warranty implied or expressed. Renault-Nissan debuts new Common Module Family for future vehicles
Thu, 20 Jun 2013Platform sharing is nothing new for the 14-year-old Renault-Nissan Alliance, but this partnership is set to introduce new modular platform components that will eventually underpin 11 Renault models and three Nissan vehicles by 2020. Rather than being a typical platform, the Common Module Family (CMF) actually represents five segments of a platform that can be used in various applications, and one of the first vehicles to use this architecture will be the 2014 Nissan Rogue (spy shots of which are shown below) when it arrives "in late 2013."
As pictured in the image above (click to expand), CMF is composed of four chassis component, principally the front underbody, rear underbody, engine bay and cockpit as well as a common electrical system. Besides the next-gen Rogue, future Nissan models to share CMF will include the Qashqai and X-Trail, while Renault models will start using the platform next year on vehicles including the Scénic and Laguna. The CMF architecture is expected to help the Alliance reduce the parts cost of a vehicle by up to 30 percent and reduce the entry cost by up to 40 percent. Apple iTunes Radio picks Nissan as first automotive launch partner
Tue, 24 Sep 2013With the launch of iOS 7 last week, those who carry around a certain fruit-branded cellphone got access to a new technology called iTunes Radio. Apple's delayed entry into a market currently dominated by service such as Spotify and Pandora, iTunes Radio allows users to create their own stations or to choose from a number of featured stations. From there, listeners can fine tune their results to deliver more popular songs or newer, deeper tracks. Each song is linked back to the iTunes store, allowing users to easily buy songs they fall in love with.
Now, Nissan has teamed with Apple as the exclusive launch partner for iTunes Radio. This partnership means you'll be seeing some Nissan-specific content when you're surfing through iTunes Radio, with some subtler stuff in the form of material and some not-so-subtle approaches, like Nissan's use of iAd, a system that allows developers to directly insert advertisements into apps. The focus at first will be on the upcoming Rogue, the redesigned Versa Note and the Leaf EV.
Nissan's vice president of marketing in North America, Jon Brancheau, explained the team up, saying, "We see iTunes Radio as an integral part of our new vehicle launches and 'big moments,' riding the wave of interest and usage of this exciting new service to maximize exposure of Nissan's new models."
