Here is a 100% bone stock, unrestored 1984 Nissan ( Datsun) 300 ZX Turbo. 5 Speed, T Tops. Turbo charged. Digital Dash. (works) . 69k miles. Non smoker car. No prior body damage or accidents. Have original owners manual, warranty book.

Bags for T tops. Rear cover for luggage area. Digiatal dash works. Have additional power supply. Sometimes they go bad. Excellent oil pressure. Engine runs smooth and  quiet. New clutch, pressure plate, all hydralics. New master cylinder. Tires are not original. They are Dunlops. Less than 2000 miles on them.

Turbo spins up fast and the car pulls hard. 5 speed transmission shifts perfectly. Brakes are newer, rotors in good shape.

Suspension is tight. No rattles. No oil leaks. AC works. Heater works. T Tops do not leak. Car has power windows, seats , mirrors and they all work. Radio is spotty. Works some days, some it does not. Antenna does not work. I have a replacement 300 ZX radio with equalizer that goes with the sale. New power antennas are $50. on Ebay. Car has a rust bubble spot on the driver quarter panel. ( See picture) Paint is 100% original and has a few scratches and chips which is to be expected on a 29 year old car. Interior is perfect. No cracks in the dash. Seats and carpets are excellent. Door panels etc.

I think you would be hard pressed to find one in this condition. If you are looking for a low mileage, unmolested, 100% original car, this is it. Inspections are encouraged. Can be driven anywhere.

Email or call with questions.

Excellent collectable. Japanese cars are starting to take off. Tons of technology for a low price. Its a car you can enjoy while it appreciates.   610 304 2665  Mike

Nissan releases GT-R Nismo N-Attack Package workout video at Fuji

Mon, 17 Mar 2014

Nissan grabbed headlines last year when it debuted the GT-R Nismo and did a blistering 7:08.679 lap around the Nürburgring's Nordschleife. As it turns out, the GT-R that did that round made use of parts that lowered its weight and improved handling. Nissan calls the extras the N-Attack Package, which stands for Nürburgring Attack, and here is a video showing what its upcoming model can do.
The pack makes a variety of changes to make the Nismo GT-R a better handling car. The suspension and brakes are overhauled with Öhlins adjustable dampers, new stabilizer bar and new front brake pads. As you can see the outside is quite different with carbon fiber components replacing the front fenders and hood gurney, plus an adjustable carbon fiber rear wing with angle adjustments and two height settings. The interior gets a carbon fiber rear bulkhead to cut weight as well.
The release date or price for the N-Attack pack hasn't been revealed, but chief vehicle engineer Noboru Kaneko says that the test in the video at Fuji Speedway was to complete "final checks." So the package might not lag too far behind the standard GT-R Nismo. Scroll down to see the Nissan's pinnacle performance car testing on a cloudy day in Japan and read a brief press release about it.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.

Nissan rowed the Note ashore [w/video]

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

Normally we wouldn't suggest trying to float your car on water, but Nissan has made some modifications to turn its new Versa Note hatchback into a makeshift rowing shell.
Nissan replaced the car's rear seats with a sliding rear rowing seat, modified the doors to open wider at 90 degrees and fitted a pair of oars. Most importantly, they put the whole thing on a floating platform to keep it from sinking into Eton Dorney Lake, the site of the 2012 Olympic rowing competitions in England (where the car is simply known as the Nissan Note).
Then they invited medal-winning competitive rowers Helen Glover, Sophie Hosking and Polly Swann to come along and row the thing, making use of the around-view monitor system to see where they were going. All in all it may not be quite as cool as the boats which Fiat made out of the 500 or Mini made out of its convertible, but it's still enough to float our boat. Check it out in the video clip and press release below and the image gallery above.
