Nissan 300zx Z32 Clean Title Ca Jdm 500hp Cusco Hks Arc Nismo White on 2040-cars
Sacramento, California, United States
Selling my 1990 Nissan 300zx in super white with black/charcoal interior. I have owned
the car since December 2000 but it is time to let it go. It was originally a
non-turbo automatic and has been converted to a twin turbo 5 speed manual, one of the first on the west coast. The
chassis has 129k miles on it with a replaced JDM cluster installed at the time
of the engine build with ~3300 kilometers recorded since. A recent engine
build resulted in 503 rwhp / 486 tq at 18 psi but is typically running at ~450
rwhp at ~15 psi. Overall condition is 9.5/10 inside and out. Wheels and tires are nearly new and have ~800 miles on them. The car rides a little stiff with the Cusco Competition coilovers and Z32 specific Swift Racing springs, but handles exceptionally well. The car needs nothing other than the fully installed factory AC system has been not filled or tested since the engine build. Just passed CA smog and is registered until May 2015. Partial trades may be acceptable depending on vehicle (looking for 4 door family sedans). Please feel free to contact me with any and all questions.

On Apr-30-14 at 19:19:31 PDT, seller added the following information: As posted above, the car is current running the 18 x 9.5 Miro 398 in Silver. Wheels mounted in the pictures below are not included. |

Nissan Titan Wounded Warrior project lands in time for Veteran's Day
Tue, 11 Nov 2014We last featured the crowdsourced Project Titan pickup back in September, back when Nissan revealed that its big, bruising custom pickup would take to the wilds of Alaska with a pair of veterans from the Wounded Warrior Project at the wheel.
Now, their journey across the wilds has been fully revealed as part of a 22-minute short film. David Guzman and Kevin McMahon are the pilots of the brutish truck, and while the film is ostensibly focused on the journey and the challenges that come with it, the release of the video on Veterans Day (Remembrance Day or Armistice Day, depending on where you're from), gives some indication to the dominant theme of the story - recovery.
The two travel across Alaska in the Titan on different missions, working with both veterans and civilians afflicted with post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as supporters of the Wounded Warrior Project. From the avalanche-surviving photographer who's suffering from PTSD to an Air Force veteran who routinely takes recovering vets on fishing trips, the pair experience the many efforts at recovery and support throughout the course of the missions and their journey.
Nissan GT-R goes 183 mph on ice in Russia
Sat, 06 Apr 2013When a pair of Russian pilots wanted to set a local ice-speed record, they chose a stock Nissan GT-R for the task. Roman Rusinov, a Russian race car driver, and Andrey Leontjev, a Russian auto journalist, took Godzilla to Lake Baikal and ran it up to 294.8 kilometers per hour (182.8 miles per hour) across frozen stuff estimated to be 1.4 meters thick.
While the worldwide record of 205.48 mph was set by Juha Kankkunen in a Bentley Supersports Convertible, the mark achieved by Rusinov and Leontjev establishes a new Russian record. Well done, boys. You can watch it all go down in the video below.
Nissan recalling 2012-14 Frontier pickups over fire risk
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Nissan is recalling its Frontier pickup over fire concerns, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration bulletin. A total of 13,535 vehicles are being recalled, all from the 2012 to 2014 model years, built between November 28, 2012 and December 27, 2013.
The NHTSA report states that "in the affected vehicles, a circuit breaker may have been installed incorrectly causing the main wire harness connected to the circuit breaker to face outward, potentially contacting a metal bolt located on the A-pillar." If this happens, it's possible that "the bolt may wear though the wire harness covering, resulting in an electrical short," NHTSA states. In the event of an electric short, a fire may occur.
The official recall will begin in March, where Nissan dealers will inspect the circuit breaker for the correct orientation, and if necessary, repair the vehicles, free of charge. Scroll down for the full NHTSA bulletin.
