Nissan 300 Zx 2+2 Coupe " No Reserve " on 2040-cars
League City, Texas, United States
Fine example of a very well maintained soon to be classic car. This car has been babied most all of it life. All original, low milage and unmolested with the exception of a Stillen stainless steel cat back exhaust. The car has a very nice sound, a deep throaty sound at higher rpm,s but not to loud. Brief history of car I am the fourth owner. The original owner (doctor living in New York city) owned the car for the first 17 years. The car was very meticulously maintained at the Nissan dealer ship. He only drove the car a few miles each day thus accounting for it low mileage. Second owner owned the car for about 1 year. The third owner only owned the car a few months and then sold it to me. He originally had no intentions of selling the car but had a "baby on th way " so the car had to go. I have owned the car for about 1 1/2 years. Like the previous owner i had no intentions of selling it anytime soon but my truck which is my daily driver and main means of transportation is 13 years old and having "issues" . I am selling the car to help finance the purchase of a new truck. I have the original owners manuel and most all the maintenance records for the entire life of the car. The car is in excellent condition. The paint is excellent has been waxed and maintained very well. Leathers seats in excellent condition , drivers seat show very little wear. Only a few cosmetic issues which was addressed in the condition description. Mechanically the car is in top condition. Absoulutly no smoke or leaks of any kind including the T-tops. All inspection and registations are up to date and I have clear title. Driving the car home from vermont I got 26 mpg and going to work combination of city and highway driving I get 20-22 mpg. One mechanical condition that needs to be addressed is the air bag warning light in on. When I had it in for some maintence my mechanic said the air bag waring light was a "clock spring and possible srs module", he stated the module is in the sterring column and parts and labor would be about $500. The nada value on these 300zx has gone up about $2000 since I purchased the car , my price is based on the retail value for a car in average condition, and I priced about $1000 less due to the air bag light warning light as described in previous paragraph. brief list of maintence 40.000 miles timing belt. 47,000 new tires ( at least 50% tread life ), 48,000 new plugs and fuel injector replaced, 50.000 transmission flush, belts changed, power steeing flush, fuel injector service balance and rotated tires. 59.000 new brake pads all four wheels, oil change with mobile 1 synthetic and within the last month new battery.

2013 Nissan Juke Nismo is the runabout we've always wanted
Thu, 07 Feb 2013The 2013 Nissan Juke Nismo has officially bowed at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show. Wearing a full body kit that serves up 37-percent more downforce than the standard front and rear fascias, the tuned hatchback also comes equipped with larger 18-inch wheels and a lowered suspension. Up front, LED daytime running lights join the festivities as well as contrasting side-view mirror covers and wider fender flares. Inside, buyers can expect to find a new sports steering wheel clad in Alcantara, as well as a set of Nismo seats stitched with red accents.
Nismo also cranked up the power on the Juke's turbocharged direct-injection 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. The Juke Nismo delivers 197 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, compared to the 188 hp and 177 lb-ft available in stock configuration. Buyers can have the engine with either a six-speed manual transmission or CVT gearbox, and the Juke Nismo can also be had with either all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. Chip shortage will hit Nissan, Suzuki and Mitsubishi in June
Sat, May 22 2021TOKYO — A global chip shortage is forcing Nissan and Suzuki to temporarily halt production at some plants in June, sources with direct knowledge of the plans told Reuters on Friday. Nissan will idle its factory in Kyushu, southern Japan, for three days on June 24, 25 and 28, while making production adjustments during the month at its Tochigi and Oppama plants in Japan, three sources said. Nissan will also temporarily halt production of some of its models at its Mexico plant, they said, declining to be identified because the plan is not public. "A global shortage of semiconductors has affected parts procurement in the auto sector. Due to the shortage, Nissan is adjusting production and taking necessary actions to ensure recovery," a Nissan spokeswoman said. Suzuki will idle its three plants in Shizuoka prefecture from three to nine days, two sources said, also declining to be identified because the plan is not public. The plan "has not been confirmed," a Suzuki spokesman said, explaining that while the carmaker gave its provisional production plan to auto part makers, it is still making adjustments to minimize the impact of the chip shortage. Elsewhere, Mitsubishi will reduce production by 30,000 vehicles in total in June at five plants in Japan, Thailand and Indonesia, a spokeswoman said, adding that the impact has already been factored into its earnings outlook for the current fiscal year. Nissan Zeod RC crash test looks like crushing the tip on a pencil
Fri, 16 May 2014Nissan has already showed us the 1.5-liter, three-cylinder engine 400 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, augmented by an electric motor, that sits in back of the ZEOD RC headed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. At the ZEOD RC's other end is a carbon fiber crash structure that has to be tested against an immovable object, and Nissan has seen fit to show us that, too.
You know what to expect if you've seen a crash test before, but the really pointy nose on this car reminds us of a Faber Castell HB pencil being sent to its death. Better yet, it's in slow motion, and you can watch it below.
