this is a mostly restored 1995 Nissan 300 ZX convertible, converted to a twin turbo. Most parts are new Nissan,I have receipts for over $13,000 counting the $4,000 paint(was taken down to the primer, door jams & roll bar were painted)No labor was counted.Of course I do not expect that kind of money for this car.The seats were covered by a reputable uplostry shop,The color is Nissan red red, thats the original color. It has a new timing belt, water pump, cam & front & rear crank seals, drive belts & NGK turbo spark plugs. Some of the things you may not see from the pictures that have been replaced are the window trim where the window meets the doors, one upper control arm,two strut tension rods, the gravel shields under the engine, the heat shield on the hood, most rubbers for the top,the speedometer is new (not the odometer)The engine is a stock Nissan twin turbo.I don't smoke and no one has ever smoked in this car since I have had it.I put factory turbo rims on the car,the rear are about 1 inch wider than the front.I installed a turbo timer & boost controller & boost gage,The cruise control works,AC is cold, power windows & ABS work.I did install turbo brake calipers & had them powder coated red, drilled & slotted rotors.I installed a new turbo clutch, pressure plate release bearing, the fly wheel was resurfaced. It has a factory turbo front bumper cover. The spoiler on the rear is aftermarket fiberglass(better than the factory one)none of the lights & lenses are scratched. The paint & body are excellent. The body shop that did the paint is local with national recognition.THE PAINT SHOP.If you bid & win this car I will give you all the receipts for parts & repairs if you want them.I have had this car since November 2005.It took years to rebuild, you can see how little I drove it by checking the history report.

Nissan raises base GT-R price to $101,770 for 2014
Tue, 21 Jan 2014Nissan has announced a few pricing tweaks for the 2015 GT-R, one of which pushes the most basic variant past $100,000 for the first time. The 2014 cost of entry was $99,590, while the 2015 GT-R starts at $101,770.
The GT-R Black Edition, meanwhile, will demand $111,510, up from 2014's $109,300. The GT-R Track Edition retains the $115,710 asking price of the 2014 car. The price increases on the base and Black Edition come with some additional goodies that should soften the blow to pocketbooks, including a retuned suspension that promises a "more sophisticated ride," while LED headlights come standard. Bose Active Noise Cancellation has also been added to the 2015 GT-R, as has a new interior color option on the base model. For a full rundown of new goodies on the GT-R, check out our original post on the 2015 vintage.
Interestingly, the destination charge for the 2015 GT-R has climbed dramatically, from 2014's $1,000 to $1,595 for the latest car. We've reached out to Nissan to see why there was such a big increase, and will update as soon as we have an update.
Nissan details Craigslist 1996 Maxima restoration
Wed, 19 Nov 2014"Luxury Defined," in the most ironic sense the galaxy has ever known, is now "Luxury Restored," in the real and incredible sense. Last September, Luke Aker made ads to sell his 1996 Nissan Maxima GLE, the YouTube version being a mix truth, bombast, a British accent and a ratchet strap. The ad tickled Nissan such that it bought the car from Akes and made a donation to a charity of his choice. Then they consulted with the citizens of the Internet to decide what to do with it, the final vote being a complete restoration and display at the company's Nashville HQ.
Friends, Netizens, countrymen, the job is done. Nicknamed "Old Glory," comparing the old car with the new is like reading one of those shelter dog rescue stories where the loving family nurses an impossibly cute pup back to health with handheld nursing sessions, baby bottles of warm milk and whispered lullabies. Only Nissan probably didn't sing to the Maxima.
The Maxima is now on display, and we hope they've hung the ratchet strap with it. You can see Aker's new video on the transformation above, plus another video and press release below detailing the Maxima's journey back to New Glory.
Nissan reveals the face of the new Qashqai
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Last week Nissan revealed the first teaser image previewing its upcoming new Qashqai. That one was wearing a big sheet and showed us little other than its basic shape and a few highlighted details, but now the Japanese automaker has released the first undisguised-ish image of the new European-market crossover.
From the image above we can tell the new Qashqai will carry the familiar face of Nissan's latest crossovers well, with the U-shaped grille and angular LED accents in the headlamp clusters. The sharp creases in the hood also make it stand out as quintessentially Japanese, particularly in a crossover market where they can all start to look the same.
We'll have to wait just a few more days to see the full thing, with the reveal set for November 7, but Nissan also released a tidy infographic showing just how successful the outgoing Qashqai has been for it in the European market. Check it out below.
