I do not race or abuse my Z at all, I take good care of her since the day I got it 5 years ago at 71,945 ORIGINAL MILES. Currently she is at 108,435 which means in 5 years, I put on 36,490 miles.

Synthetic oil used for every oil change at 5,000 miles. 120K Nissan OEM 120K maintenance kit performed.

Every part or aftermarket parts installed is for upgrade, longevity, and my personal love for it. I shift her right before 3,000 RPM at every gear and I work nights so I drive her mostly with little traffic or on the highways.
She is in good shape with almost no mechanical issues. The problem areas are 1. The rear windshield defroster doesn't work, I got it like that. 2. T-top leaks slightly where the a-pillar and the top meet during heavy rain or car wash.
3. Very minimal leak/moisture on the power-steering unit. 4. Needs an alignment, it steers to the right a bit, but I have lifetime alignment with Firestone but they can't seem to get it right. There is NO accident on this car FYI and it drives fine minus the right steer.  5. Cracked paint on the front Stillen bumper because I couldn't avoid an armadillo while on an one way exit off the highway at 4 AM, it is either hitting it or drive the Z into bumpy unpaved grasslands on either side.

Parts installed:

Stillen GTZ front bumper
Stillen intercooler
2.5 in test pipes/2.5 in split4 bolt downpipes
Mishmoto aluminum radiator
HKS hard-pipe kit
Powertrix front and rear camber kit
Powertrix front Adj-tension rods
Powertrix street coilovers
Z1 short-throw shifter
Nismo shift knob
Goodridge Stainless brake-lines
VR4 Slotted front rotor and rear slotted rotors
Ztuner ECU
Blitz DSBC Boost-controller
JWT Street Clutch
HKS Hi-Power Exhaust
Topspeed HICAS remove kit
Alternator (Nissan OEM)
Starter (Nissan OEM)

Feel free to ask me questions and I will reply as earliest as possible. I have the title in hand and ready to sell, and please do not bid if you are not serious. I will not accept lower offers or trades of any kind. Buyer responsible for the pick-up or transportation of the Z and the $1,000 deposit is non-refundable after 7 days if the buyer does not come up with the remaining amount.

Thank you for looking at my auction.

Chip shortage will hit Nissan, Suzuki and Mitsubishi in June

Sat, May 22 2021

TOKYO — A global chip shortage is forcing Nissan and Suzuki to temporarily halt production at some plants in June, sources with direct knowledge of the plans told Reuters on Friday. Nissan will idle its factory in Kyushu, southern Japan, for three days on June 24, 25 and 28, while making production adjustments during the month at its Tochigi and Oppama plants in Japan, three sources said. Nissan will also temporarily halt production of some of its models at its Mexico plant, they said, declining to be identified because the plan is not public. "A global shortage of semiconductors has affected parts procurement in the auto sector. Due to the shortage, Nissan is adjusting production and taking necessary actions to ensure recovery," a Nissan spokeswoman said. Suzuki will idle its three plants in Shizuoka prefecture from three to nine days, two sources said, also declining to be identified because the plan is not public. The plan "has not been confirmed," a Suzuki spokesman said, explaining that while the carmaker gave its provisional production plan to auto part makers, it is still making adjustments to minimize the impact of the chip shortage. Elsewhere, Mitsubishi will reduce production by 30,000 vehicles in total in June at five plants in Japan, Thailand and Indonesia, a spokeswoman said, adding that the impact has already been factored into its earnings outlook for the current fiscal year. Nissan Leaf sales get January jump as Chevy Volt trends downward

Mon, Feb 3 2014

The cold January sales dip hit both the Nissan Leaf and the Chevy Volt last month, but when compared 2014 to 2013's first-month-of-the-year sales totals, one of the two early plug-in vehicles obviously came out on top. The top Leaf market also shifted away from Atlanta for the first time in months. Last year, the Leaf sold just 650 units in January, but it managed to move 1,252 last month, a 92.6-percent increase over 2013 but a big drop from the 2,529 sold in December 2013. Paige Presley over at Nissan told AutoblogGreen that the Leaf has now broken sales records for 11 months straight and that, "we see unique seasonality with some December pull-ahead demand based on federal and state tax incentives." The number one Leaf market also shifted away from Atlanta for the first time in months, moving back to San Francisco. That change could be short-lived. "We had some inventory constraint issues early in the month in Atlanta with end-of-year demand depleting stock," Presley said. "By the time we resolved that, the weather hampered sales." There was not as much good news on the Chevrolet front. Last month, the Volt sold 918 units, down from 1,140 in January 2013 and 2,392 in December 2013. It also marks the first time the Volt has sold in the three-digit range since January 2012, when it sold 603 copies. That string of solid months means that the plug-in hybrid has a roughly 12,000-unit lead over the EV since the two cars brought plug-in vehicles back to the mass market all the way back in December 2010. We will have our full report of January's green car sales up soon.

Is 120 miles just about perfect for EV range?

Tue, Apr 15 2014

When it comes to battery-electric vehicles, our friend Brad Berman over at Plug In Cars says 40 miles makes all the difference in the world. That's the approximate difference in single-charge range between the battery-electric version of the Toyota RAV4 and the Nissan Leaf. It's also the difference between the appearance or disappearance of range anxiety. The 50-percent battery increase has zapped any lingering range anxiety, Berman writes. The RAV4 EV possesses a 40-kilowatt-hour pack, compared to the 24-kWh pack in the Leaf. After factoring in differences in size, weight and other issues, that means the compact SUV gets about 120 miles on a single charge in realistic driving conditions, compared to about 80 miles in the Leaf. "The 50 percent increase in battery size from Leaf to RAV has zapped any lingering range anxiety," Berman writes. His observations further feed the notion that drivers need substantial backup juice in order to feel comfortable driving EVs. Late last year, the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS), along with the Consumers Union estimated that about 42 percent of US households could drive plug-in vehicles with "little or no change" in their driving habits, and that almost 70 percent of US commuters drive fewer than 60 miles per weekday. That would imply that a substantial swath of the country should be comfortable using a car like the Leaf as their daily driver - with first-quarter Leaf sales jumping 46 percent from a year before, more Americans certainly are. Still, the implication here is that EV sales will continue to be on the margins until an automaker steps up battery capabilities to 120 or so miles while keeping the price in the $30,000 range. Think that's a reasonable goal to shoot for?
