1990 Nissan 300zx Base Coupe 2-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Littleton, Colorado, United States
Up for sale is my beautiful 1990 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 automatic.
This is a wonderful car that is a blast to drive and gets looks everywhere I
go. I hate to sell it but a new pair of twins in my life means that priorities
have to change. A brief history of the car: The car was purchased from the
original owner in 1998 from my Wife’s uncle. He passed it down to my brother in-law
in 2005. Unfortunately my wife’s uncle did not take very good care of the car’s
engine which forced my brother in-law to correct a few issues. He decided to
replace the engine with a JDM spec motor in an attempt to have two engines to
work with if needed. At the same time the car would be gone through and
anything that needed attention would be addressed. My brother in-law owned a
custom car shop at the time and all of the work was performed professionally in
his shop. At the time of the engine swap the car had just over 90K miles. In
the summer of 2006 the engine was replaced with an engine pulled from the front
clip of a similar year JDM Fairlady Z. The JDM motor had approximately 50-60K
miles on it. During the swap the new engine received a complete major tune-up
along with several major service items. Below is a list of all items and
services performed during the engine swap: 50-60K miles JDM NA engine swap After the engine swap the plan for the car was to turn the
car into a period correct 90s custom. The following parts were also installed
on the car: Set of staggered width IMPUL RS 16” wheels with new tires In addition to the performance parts several other items
have also been addressed: New weather strip around windows With all of the powertrain and chassis items sorted out the
only thing left is the body which unfortunately I cannot afford to update right
now. The body is in really good condition as is but a paint job would make the
car absolutely perfect. There a few small dings here and there and the front
bumper has a few scuffs. The paint is original and shows pretty good for a 20+
year old car. As you can see from the pictures the car looks great and can
certainly be driven as is. The interior is also in great shape. Everything
except for the radio is original and again shows really well for the age. All
gauges, A/C, lights, power windows, and locks work as they should. |

2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross vs. small crossover SUVs: How they compare on paper
Fri, Feb 23 2018In the midst of the crossover SUV boom, each traditional size segment has become saturated. As a result, automakers are beginning to fill the gaps that separate classes, giving us some interesting in-between options. The all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross jumps right into one of those in-between categories bookended by compact and subcompact crossovers. It's a niche that offers more space and feature content than the smallest vehicles, with an extra dose of style and a lower price than bigger ones. Because of the Eclipse Cross' in-between nature, though, there's not really an obvious direct competitor. As such, we've selected a diverse group of small crossovers that are similar to the Eclipse Cross in some but not all key areas: size, price, feature content, style and likely buyers. The 2018 Subaru Crosstrek, 2018 Toyota C-HR and 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport each have elements in common, but are different enough to provide useful points of comparison. A chart of specifications and key standard features is shown below, followed by more in-depth analysis. And if you wish to compare these crossovers with others not listed, be sure to check out our comparison tools. Engines and Drivetrains One of the Eclipse Cross' biggest advantages in this segment will be its engine. Subcompact crossovers, including the other three we've chosen, are sluggish to say the least. This new Mitsubishi should be different as it packs a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder that belts out a whopping 184 pound-feet of torque. We say whopping, because the C-HR, Crosstrek and Rogue Sport all have between 139 and 147 pound-feet. Horsepower is similarly unimpressive at just 152 horsepower - the same as the Crosstrek - but that torque should make passing and on-ramp runs much more satisfying. The appeal of crossovers for many people is the availability of all-wheel-drive, and this is where the Subaru gets an advantage. Like with all Subarus that aren't a BRZ, the Crosstrek has standard all-wheel drive. The Mitsubishi comes close, making all-wheel drive standard on every trim level except the very base ES trim level. On the Rogue Sport, all-wheel drive is an option on all trim levels. Depending on where you live, though, being able to have front drive on a high-trim crossover could be a plus because it will save some money and improve fuel economy. The C-HR loses this battle as it's only available with front-wheel drive.
Watch this mobility scooter drag race a Nissan Skyline with surprising results
Fri, 19 Jul 2013Okay, so we may not be talking about a classic, all-conquering Nissan Skyline GT-R here. But the sub-Godzilla-trim Nissan Skyline GTS-T is still a car, after all. And, as a car, if someone asked you to lay a bet on it versus a mobility scooter (Hoveround, Rascal, you know the type) in a drag race, you'd probably take that action.
Unless, of course, that drag race were happening on YouTube, in which case you'd put your money away and open up your laptop. On the Internet it's best to never bet against the wild underdog.
We don't mean to spoil the following video for you, but come on. When you saw Skyline vs. Scooter in that headline, you had a pretty good idea of what was to come, didn't you. Needless to say, mobility scooters fitted with Suzuki GSX-600F engines are pretty quick. Strap in and scroll down.
