1991 300z twin turbo 101,705 miles

The Good: Low miles, pearl white paint is a 7 or 8 out of a 10, stock chrome Z wheels near perfect/ no curbys, aftermarket HID headlights, upgraded clutch and lightweight flywheel with less than 3000 miles on it, 5 speed trans shifts smooth in all gears, nice and expensive mandrel bent stainless exaust from turbos back, factory all wheel steering, factory electronic shocks with a sport mode switch, good tires all the way around, boost controler, and gauges on pillar, white nismo shift nob, has a racing seat on driver side (which I don't prefer)and the body is very straight for its age except for a dent on the hood where one of the hood squirters is?( An exgirlfriend must have gotten angry?) No cracks in the dash, interior in good shape, T tops DO NOT LEAK!

The Bad: I think it needs turbos and at least an injector, one injector is squirting under the hood It will crank up but smokes quite a bit when cranked at first and misses some, due to someone turning the boost up, and the hatch lifts will need replaced, I got this car on a trade but I did drive it once before it had a problem and it was fast, I was going to fix it but I have way to many other projects. The car has been under a cover since I've owned it.

The buyer is responsible for all shipping or pickup of the car. Any questions feel free to ask. Happy Bidding.

Nissan recalling 841k vehicles overseas for steering wheel trouble

Sat, 25 May 2013

A possible issue with a steering wheel bolt in the Nissan Micra (shown) and Cube from the 2002 to 2006 model years has Nissan recalling roughly 841,000 units on four continents, as well as Oceania and the Middle East. On the affected cars, the bolt may not have been tightened properly, which could lead to a loss of steering in a worst-case scenario. According to Reuters, there haven't been any reports of accidents or injuries due to the fault, however.
The Micras affected were built in the UK and Japan, the Cubes in Japan. Nissan has yet to say when the recall will begin, but when it does, owners can take their cars to dealers for repairs; the bolt with either be tightened or, if necessary, a new steering wheel installed.

Honda may recall up to 1M vehicles for airbag issue, following Toyota's lead

Mon, 16 Jun 2014

It seems Toyota won't be the only one recalling the faulty Takata airbag inflators for long. Honda insiders in Japan claim that the company is getting close to announcing its own worldwide campaign that would begin before the end of June.
Unnamed sources close to Honda in Japan tell Automotive News that the company is pursuing an internal investigation into possibly affected models and is working with Takata to gather more information. They claim that it could involve even more than the 1.14 million cars worldwide that the automaker covered under the first recall for the problem in April 2013, including 561,000 vehicles in the US.
Toyota jumpstarted this process last week when it recalled over 2 million cars worldwide, including 844,277 in the US. Soon after, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began a preliminary evaluation into the issue following six reported incidents, and started assembling data about potentially affected models from Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Chrysler. NHTSA also began investigating Takata itself.

Ghosn: Low oil prices won't hurt EVs much

Mon, Jan 26 2015

Carlos Ghosn might be the most unflappable automotive CEO around. Despite lower gas prices and signs that these prices do impact green vehicle sales, the CEO of the Renault-Nissan Alliance was at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland this weekend saying that people will continue to buy electric vehicles. "I don't think it is going to be slowing down," he said. "The people who are buying mainly for economic reasons may be deterred from it, but you have plenty of consumers buying EV for other reasons. On top of this, even though the price of oil is unpredictable – nobody has predicted last year that we would be at this level of oil price today and nobody knows where oil price will be next year or two years down the road – but what is predictable is that the regulation on emissions is going to get tougher in the various markets where we are present. So, our EV strategy is here not only to face too much dependence on oil or the cost of oil, but also to allow us to meet the very stringent regulations on emissions that are happening and will be happening in the future. So I can bet you that more and more car makers are coming to EVs and they're going to continue to build and sell EVs, even though the price of oil is coming down."
