1995 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo 5 speed

This car has been gone through by Nissan experts and interior restorers and is beautiful and powerful. 300 horsepower 6 cylinder Twin Turbo engine.

The interior has just been redone in twotone leather and suede on the seats and the doors and dash. The custom Z emblem is stitched on each headrest. All the leather is double stitched as well to match the suede. New carpeting and other trim touches - please see the pictures. New Pioneer radio with USB input and new speakers front and rear with additional tweeters for even cleaner sound. A new power antenna went in a month ago. Power seat of course. Great AC. All the stock bells and whistles.

All new hoses on the amazing looking engine. Also a complete timing belt job including the water pump and pulleys done in October 2013. New exhausts. New transmission bushings in the five speed manual done last month to tighten up the shifter.

Four brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE11 tires. A new Compustar ignition lockout and alarm system means the car will be where you left it no matter what.

I took over this from another guy who loved it and did the engine and interior work, and was babying it along back to showroom quality but he hurt his leg and can’t drive a stick. Now I realize I am too big for this thing and I have to get something else. Unfortunately. Also it scares my girlfriend.The tires, tranny, alarm and other stuff are only weeks old but I have to face reality.

This car is in central Florida and has always been in either Arizona or Florida since 1996 so other than minor scratches and stuff on the exterior paint job it is very good over all. One tiny rust spot and two very small rust bubbles under the paint that I can find, can be touched up by someone with a little skill.

Nissan to build Golf-fighter in Spain

Nissan hasn't had a proper European entry in the ridiculously popular compact hatchback segment since it stopped offering its somewhat staid and uninspiring Almera (above) in 2006. According to Automotive News Europe, the new machine, which will not be called Almera, will be marketed against the Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus - two extremely popular models in Europe. Production is slated to begin in July of 2014.
The new compact will be built in Barcelona, Spain, at the factory that currently builds the Pathfinder, Navara pickup and NV200 commercial van. An investment of $178 million will be made to assemble the compact car, and an additional $27 million will go to the plant to create more trucks and transmissions for electric vehicles.
The decision to invest in Spain comes after the automaker successfully renegotiated contracts with local unions. Similar talks are underway in France, where Nissan partner Renault is based, but as of yet no new agreements have been struck. Feel free to browse through the official press release below.

Using cameras in place of a car's rearview mirrors has long been a feature of pie-in-the-sky concept cars, although so far, it's failed to translate into the world of production vehicles. Nissan is looking to change that, though, with its new Smart Rearview Mirror.
With a flick of a switch, drivers can jump back and forth between what they'd normally see through the rearview mirror and the camera's feed from the back of the car.
The Smart Rearview Mirror blends everything we know about traditional reflective glass mirrors with a video feed from the rear of the car into a form factor that's immediately recognizable to the average motorist. With a flick of a switch, drivers can jump back and forth between what they'd normally see through the rearview mirror and the camera's feed from the back of the car. The mirror itself features an integrated LCD display with a four-to-one aspect ratio.

Nissan recalls over 120,000 Altimas due to... spare tire inflation?!

A pressure regulator that over- or underinflated spare tires for five days earlier this year has led to a recall of 123,308 units of the 2013 Nissan Altima. Sedans that were manufactured from March 21-26 are those possibly affected by the temporary tire snafu, the recall for which will begin on May 3.
Those notified of the issue can take their sedans to their local Nissan dealer, who will check the tire pressure and correct it if necessary, but we imagine owners can probably just whip out a tire gauge to check and adjust the inflation for themselves. Should you need it, there's an official notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below with a few more details.
