1993 Nissan 300ZX Base Coupe 2-Door 3.0L T-Top. clean title and really nice.
This 300ZX has had one original owner before I had purchased it in May 2013. I had rescued the Z from sitting in a three car garage for the past 5 years.
As beautiful as this Z is, I had purchased it as an investment to resale. I have taken the car in to a reputable Nissan (ZX) Mechanic. I had him look over the Z top to bottom, preform an engine/road test. Changed Engine and transmission oil. cleaned and serviced injectors and added a new battary. The Nissan had all belts including timing and water pump changed before going into retirement late 2007. The only recommendation given to me from my mechanic other then "enjoy it" was to replace the tires due to flat spots (though the car runs well with the current tires.)
History/Overview
Single owner (prior to me) Original Owner was an older couple. Wife was the main driver and did not drive her Z hard. Once the owner retired from work, she took up golf and was unable to fit her clubs, bags, and rolling cart in the Z.
LOW Miles (99,792) Original
Interior is in Excellent condition.
Engine is stock and running excellent.
Everything on this car is stock and Original. ( T-tops, shades, and covers,
there have been no modifications made, this car was parked in a garage and driven responsibly.
This Nissan has some miner dings as well as some scratches.
Three original keys will be included (2 black and 1 red). Please note. the driver side door and hatchback locks are in tact but need to be fixed. I currently unlock the driver side door by unlocking the Passenger door, which automatically unlocks the car from both sides.
This ZX had not been in any accidents and over all very Sharp from the outside (front bottom bumper is cracked through) and really Sharp inside.
Local pick up or Shipping arrangements can be made (to be paid by winning bidder).
KBB value 7300+
FYI I have the current title in my possession. I have paid all penalties and current fees. the Z is registered till 5/20/2014. Because I had purchased the Z to resale, I had not completed the DMV transaction. Please be confident that all DMV fees are paid in full.
Please look at all photos and feel free to ask questions via email or phone (818) 335-0789

Recharge Wrap-Up: Georgia lawyers love the Nissan Leaf, 2B vehicles by 2035
Wed, Jul 30 2014Loads of lawyers at a firm in Georgia are taking advantage of the state's EV tax credit. Georgia offers a tax credit on leases and purchases of electric vehicles for 20 percent of the car's value, up to $5,000. This has created a trend among lawyers at Arnall Golden Gregory, who one after another have been switching from gas-powered cars to the all-electric Nissan Leaf. They appreciate the environmental benefits, as well as toll exemption and access to HOV lanes, but the tax credit seems to be the biggest motivation to switch. Says lawyer Scott Wandstrat, "Everybody is signing up, now that all the cool kids are doing it." Read more at Daily Report. (Thanks to Kevin D. for the tip!) There's an easy way to see what kind of battery pack a Tesla Model S is using. Underneath the car on the passenger side, just behind the front wheel is a sticker on the outside of the battery pack. At the top is the battery size, 60 kWh or 85 kWh. Below that is a part number, followed by a letter. According to this Tesla Motors Club wiki, those numbers denote new or refurbished battery packs. The A, B or D following that number refers to the generation of battery, which also corresponds to charging capabilities. Knowing how to decode a Tesla pack could be useful if you ever need to replace your battery. Get more details at Teslarati. There will be 2 billion vehicles in use by 2035, according to a forecast by Navigant Research. The group who brought you the fuel consumption figures we shared with you previously estimates that there are currently almost 1.2 billion light-duty vehicles in use today. Navigant expects stop-start technology to grow, with 45 percent of vehicles on the road being equipped with it by 2035. Read more at Green Car Reports. Nissan Canada offers box-fresh racecar for $19,998 [w/video]
Fri, 17 Oct 2014Nissan is seriously emphasizing its commitment to motorsports with projects like next year's GT-R LM endurance racer at Le Mans and the company's participation with GT Academy. At least in Canada, the automaker is adding another opportunity to get people onto the track with the new Nissan Micra Cup one-make race series. Sure, the Micra might not as quick as a GT-R, but this series offers Canadians a chance to start racing for a reasonable price. Nissan claims the events have "the lowest running cost of any Canadian series," and we can't think of a cheaper turnkey new racecar in all of North America.
The cars are all based on the not-for-US Micra 1.6 S M/T model with a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine making 109 horsepower and 107 pound-feet of torque and a five-speed manual gearbox. The only real performance upgrades are a Nismo suspension kit, new exhaust, improved brake pads and sticky Pirelli tires. For added safety, the interior is entirely stripped out and is replaced with a full roll cage with a driver protection net, FIA-approved racing seat with five-point harness, fire extinguisher and front and rear tow hooks. The whole, race-ready package will set competitors back $19,998 Canadian dollars before taxes.
The inaugural Micra Cup series begins in May 2015, and the first season is exclusively taking place in Quebec, with the promise of moving to other provinces if it's a success. Each event includes a half hour of practice, a half hour of qualifying and a pair of half-hour races. Nissan is estimating impressive fields of over 25 cars of competitors.
Modified Trabant takes on Nissan GT-R in 1/4-mile battle
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The little yellow guy in the right lane above with the "Flitzer" license plate looks like a Trabant 601 wagon and it's called a Trabant, but it's got little to do with the impoverished East German runabout that did its part to drive Communist ideals further into the ground. You'd almost be forgiven for not knowing there's a turbocharged 3.0-liter engine up front, until you have look at that rear track... and the wheelie bars in back.
So with a power-to-weight ratio akin to an LS9-powered scooter, it's no surprise that the Trabbi puts a pasting on a slightly tuned, 580-horsepower Nissan GT-R - we don't know what happened with Godzilla's shifting, but it was all over from the hole shot. It's still fun to watch, though, and you can do that in the video below.
