1990 Nissan 300zx on 2040-cars
Lindon, Utah, United States
1990
300zx N/A Dark Blue (TH1 color code) The color is fairly uncommon, it was only offered to the USA in 1990 with the Non-Turbo model. I believe 1371 were sold in this color. The car has
65,300 miles Runs great, does not leak anything, does not burn anything. Five speed manual Bose Radio The car has been in Nevada and California it's whole life to my knowledge, up until I brought it to Utah late last month. The car has ZERO Rust. Always garaged. The car is my daily driver, however since it's winter I only drive the car when it's dry, and wash 1-2 times a week. (I drive a suburban on the snowy, wet days) The interior is nearly perfect, with one rip on the drivers side seat bolster, about the size of a quarter. The original floor mats are in great shape, but have faded a bit. Exterior is nearly perfect with a few minor dings around the car, no serious scratches. The paint would look perfect with a cut and buff. Often times these cars have front bumpers that are cracked/falling off or repainted, but this is not the case with my car. The bumper on this car has no cracks and is all original. I haven't had issues with the T-Tops leaking. No check engine lights All scheduled maintenance has been done at 60,000 miles by the previous owner, I have the documents he gave me. The car has slotted/drilled rotors in the rear. (not sure why they aren't in the front also) The car has an upgraded clutch and flywheel (also done by the previous owner) He gave me the original clutch and flywheel, which appear to have plenty of life left as well. New clutch master cylinder done by me. Very nice Kenwood radio with bluetooth. I'm not willing to have the car shipped. I will only sell the car to someone who will meet face to face and pay with cash. If you would like more information or pictures send me an email and I will respond asap.
Car is sold as is. I reserve the right to cancel any sale, at any time. Vehicle is also for sale locally. |

Nissan IDx 'in the plan' for production, needs support from fans [w/poll]
Wed, 15 Jan 2014If there's a trend in the auto industry we can firmly get behind, it's the small, light and affordable rear-drive coupe. The positive critical reception to the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ twins has encouraged other manufacturers to look at building their own rear drivers, and even a few to show actual concept cars based on the idea. The Chevrolet Code 130R from 2012 and more recently, the Nissan IDx twins that were first shown at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show both come to mind, as does the brand-new Kia GT4 Stinger Concept.
Nissan trotted out the IDx Nismo and the IDx Freeflow for another showing in Detroit and we'll admit to being totally smitten with both cars. Again. The duo draw inspiration from the iconic Datsun 510, a lightweight, affordable rear-driver that remains a cult favorite decades after production ended.
Now, a report from our friends at AutoWeek reveals that we may, possibly, hopefully see a production IDx, provided fans make a strong enough case for it. "It's in the plan," Nissan product boss Andy Palmer told AW. According to the report, Palmer said the IDx is "into the first sage of the development process. The next stage is project validation and then looking at the business case. It's no one's intent to waste millions of the company's money, so obviously we have a good feeling about this one."
Nissan Juke-R [w/video]
Fri, 03 May 2013The Other Brother
The handler strapped into the carbon fiber race bucket next to me is the only other person outside of yours truly who looks like he thinks this is a bad idea. I've just finished situating myself in the cabin of the very first Nissan Juke-R ever constructed. There are literally thousands of man hours in this single prototype and only four examples of the car total in the entire world. Each one carries a price tag of around $656,400 at current conversion rates, making this both the rarest and most expensive piece of machinery anyone has ever let me get close enough to sniff, let alone drive.
And that's exactly what I mean to do.
Nissan Kicks concept debuts in Sao Paulo [w/videos]
Tue, 28 Oct 2014The Sao Paulo Motor Show only comes around once every other year, and Nissan - an automaker deeply vested in the Latin American market - isn't missing out on the opportunity to showcase a new crossover concept.
Called the Kicks concept, the crossover seems to slot in size-wise in between the Juke and the Rogue. Nissan isn't saying much about it, though, aside from its having drawn its inspiration from Brazil with a "satin titanium" finish and bright orange trim - the former taking its cues from Sao Paulo and the latter from Rio.
While emphasizing its Brazilian character, Nissan also stresses that the concept's creation was "a product of global collaboration." So while it isn't saying anything about production feasibility, it is seemingly suggesting that if it were put into production - and as we stated previously, we think it just might - it could stand to be a global model and not confined strictly to South America.
