Came very close to reserve 1st time around.

I welcome all inquiries except from those that do not have the funds, have to consult with the "Boss" first, or are afraid to buy a car long distance. My feedback is 100% and that should count for something.

I reserve the right to end this listing at anytime. This is a 1 owner, bought new at Culiver Nissan in Phoenix and always stored in AZ. Impeccably maintained with 9490 miles that has never been driven in the rain or elements. Great for Z events ( should win in an original class. Do not hesitate to reach me via phone - 305-302-4617.

I can assist with shipping, as I have a contact in the industry. Let me know if you need a quote. It belongs on a car hauler.

1985 Nissan 300ZX TURBO - AUTO - 9490 orig. miles - EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS ORIGINAL / UNMOLESTED / RUST FREE CONDITION - NO ACCIDENTS / NO CORROSION.  This is awesome 300 with the leather power pkg., T-tops, that is 100% unmodified.  It has been meticulously cared for and never left outside in the rain. For a Nissan purist, it is definitely a great piece of history. Be the envy of other 300 owners when you pull up at a show.

The Burgundy metallic paint shines like it was still 1985. It was Ziebarted when new, so no corrosion. All of the moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, roof panels, covers, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in super condition. The wheels have no abuse and the Yokohama tires are like new. It drives straight down the road with zero issues. Never run through an automatic car wash and always hand washed / waxed are a great part as to why it still shows as new.

On the inside, the Burgundy interior still looks, feels, and smells like new. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered and the flooring is crisp / damage free. The door panels, t-top bags, sun shields, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are original and not marked. All of the interior buttons / switches - power windows, door locks, cruise, hatch release, fuel door, and even the clock keeps perfect time. It still has the orig. stereo / orig. speakers. The spare tire compartment still has the orig. spare - never on the ground, inflator cannister, jack, bolts are still in place.

Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as you would expect a "well-oiled" machine would. The engine compartment has never even been cleaned, except for a wipe down. All of the servicing is up to date - fuel injector recall, a/c, belts, hoses, coolant, thermostat, fluids all changed ( synthetic ) / maintained at the proper intervals, Timing belt and tune up were done. The Turbo engine spools out without issue, the tranny shifts softly, and it performs on all levels. It has never been driven hard. Of course, The a/c is blistering cold and the brakes have plenty of pad left. All of the other mechanical functions are point on.

* Please note- The black coating in the engine compartment is not dirt, it is the Armor guard coating from new. The engine has never been detailed.

Nissan's Venucia brand bringing slick concept to Shanghai

Fri, Apr 17 2015

Nissan and Chinese partner Dongfeng operate a joint venture for low-cost models named Venucia that's likely best known for its small EV called the E30, based on the Leaf. At the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show, the brand is unveiling a concept that shows being cheap doesn't have to mean lacking style. While attractive, the design for the Venucia concept in this teaser is actually somewhat deceiving. At first, the car looks like a stylish four-door coupe with a fastback roof running down the back. However, the model actually has a somewhat taller ride height, and the sketch might really portend a swoopy crossover similar to the BMW X6 or Mercedes-Benz GLE-Class Coupe. The odd proportions are definitely going to make seeing this vehicle in the real world quite interesting. According to Indian Autos Blog, Venucia has not revealed a powertrain or even a name for its concept yet, but the production version would probably ride on a Nissan platform like many of the brand's other models. Thankfully, all of the unresolved details about this mysterious vehicle should be sorted out soon because the Shanghai show begins on April 20.

Recharge Wrap-up: Renault-Nissan at COP21, fast charging viability

Tue, Dec 15 2015

Nissan and Renault's combined fleet of 200 EVs drove over 175,000 kilometers (about 108,700 miles) during the COP21 environmental summit in Paris. The largest fleet of EVs for any international conference served as shuttles for attendees, saving almost 182 barrels of oil and 18 tons of CO2 emissions. In addition to providing the Nissan Leaf, Nissan e-NV200, and Renault Zoe EV shuttles, the Renault-Nissan Alliance also set up a network of 90 chargers to support the fleet. 13 of the 27 quick and semi-quick chargers will remain in place for public use. The company will implement new and upgrade existing traffic technologies in the city, including cloud-based traffic management software, local controller software and an adaptive traffic control system designed to improve traffic flow and safety. In a college town with highly varying numbers of students and visitors throughout the year, "the need to move traffic in and out of the city efficiently is crucial not only for economic and environmental impacts, but for quality of life for Ann Arbor residents," says Marcus Welz, president of Siemens Intelligent Traffic Systems. Many Ann Arborites (your author included) would surely agree. The researchers found parking spots to be the most popular public charging locations, and that fast chargers saw the most frequent use, suggesting commercial viability for the infrastructure in the short- to medium-term. The study also found that most drivers prefer to charge at home, and do so during peak hours. Incentivization could be necessary to break people from this habit. Read more at Green Car Congress.

Autoblog's guilty pleasure cars

Tue, Mar 10 2015

Guilty pleasures are part of life – don't even try to pretend like you don't have one (or two, or six). In the non-automotive space, this could come down to that secret playlist in your iPhone of songs you'll only listen to when you're alone; or think of that one TV show you really do love, but won't admit to your friends. I've got plenty, and so do you. Going back to cars, here's a particularly juicy one for me: several years ago, I had a mad crush on the very last iteration of the Cadillac DTS. Oh yes, the front-wheel-drive, Northstar V8-powered sofa-on-wheels that was the last remaining shred of the elderly-swooning days of Cadillac's past. Every time I had the chance to drive one, I was secretly giddy. Don't hate me, okay? These days, the DTS is gone, but I've still got a mess of other cars that hold a special place in my heart. And in the spirit of camaraderie, I've asked my other Autoblog editors to tell me some of their guilty pleasure cars, as well – Seyth Miersma, as you can see above, has a few choice emotions to share about the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Read on to find out what cars make us secretly happy. Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG This decadent convertible is the epitome of the guilty pleasure. It's big, powerful, fairly heavy and it's richly appointed inside and out. It's a chocolate eclair with the three-pointed star on the hood. Given my druthers, I'd take the SL65 AMG, which delivers 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. That output is borderline absurd for this laid-back convertible. I don't care. You don't need dessert. Sometimes you just crave it. The SL line is about the feel you get on the road. The roof is open. The air, sun and engine sounds all embrace you. It's the same dynamic you could have experienced in a Mercedes a century ago, yet the SL gives you the most modern of luxuries. An Airscarf feature that warms my neck and shoulders through a vent embedded in the seat? Yes, please. Sure, it's an old-guy car. Mr. Burns and Lord Grantham are probably too young and hip for an SL65. I don't care. This is my guilty pleasure. Release the hounds. – Greg Migliore Senior Editor Ford Flex I drove my first Flex in 2009 when my mother let me borrow hers for the summer while I was away at college. The incredibly spacious interior made moving twice that summer a breeze, and the 200-mile trips up north were quite comfortable.
