I reserve the right to end this listing at anytime. Watch lists are cool for those who are not buyers. The real person will dial my number. The 28000 miles have been so softly driven you would mistake it for much newer. Great for cars shows, Z events, cruise nights, or leisure. Do not hesitate to reach me via phone - 305-302-4617. If the car does no see auction end that is because it has been sold locally, so putting it on a "watch" list may result in a lost purchase.
Pictures shown with varying degrees of light, but nothing is faded, worn, or discolored. Also, the towel over the floor mat is the pics is to protect it. THERE IS NO WEAR / DAMAGE UNDERNEATH.
I have a family friend who only does door to door, insured shipping, and will do so at a very discounted rate. Let me know if you need a quote. It belongs on a car hauler.
1984 Nissan 300ZX TURBO - EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS ORIGINAL & UNMOLESTED - NO ACCIDENTS / PAINTWORK. This is awesome 2 OWNER 300 with the 5 speed / digital / leather / power seat w/ lumbar, T-tops, that is 100% unmodified. It comes from our non-smoking home. It has been meticulously cared for, never left outside, or driven in inclement weather. For a Nissan purist, it is definitely a great piece of history. Be the envy of other 300 owners when you pull up at Nissan shows.
The original Burgundy metallic paint shines like it was still 1984. It was Ziebarted when new, so no corrosion. All of the moldings, handles, window glass, lettering, roof panels, covers, rubber seals, and all other exterior features are in super condition. The wheels have no abuse and the tires are excellent. It drives straight down the road with zero issues. Never run through an automatic car wash and always hand washed / waxed are a great part as to why it still looks so fabulous. The exterior is a solid 9.5+ / 10.
On the inside, the Burgundy interior still looks, feels, and smells fresh. As you can see in the pics, the seats have always been covered and the flooring is crisp / damage free. The door panels, t-top bags, sun shields, dash, center console, faceplates, etc. are original and not marked. All of the interior buttons / switches - power windows, door locks, cruise, hatch release, fuel door, and even the clock keeps perfect time. It still has the orig. stereo / orig. speakers. The spare tire compartment still has the orig. spare - never on the ground, inflator cannister, jack, bolts are still in place. The interior is a 9.75 / 10.
Mechanically, it starts, idles, and drives smoothly as you would expect a "well-oiled" machine would. The engine compartment has never even been cleaned, except for a wipe down. All of the servicing is up to date - fuel injector recall, a/c, belts, hoses, fluids all changed ( synthetic ) / maintained at the proper intervals, Timing belt and tune up were done. The Turbo engine spools out as it should, the 5 speed engages softly, and it performs on all levels. It has never been driven hard. Of course, The a/c is blistering cold and the brakes have plenty of pad left. All of the other mechanical functions are point on.
If you have been searching, most of these cars are beat up, modded, or have a ton of miles. What you pay for is what you get. One would spend twice as much restoring one, and it would not be original. A car can only be that one time. :)

Renault, Nissan limit French government interference
Mon, Dec 14 2015Renault and Nissan are taking action to limit the influence that one can exercise over the other's operations. The measures, announced by both automakers after meetings of their respective boards in Paris and Tokyo, aim to keep each other at arm's length. But more than that, they seek to cap the degree of influence which the French government can bring to bear on either automaker. The steps are being taken in response to investment moves by the French state. While the government's investment arm – known as the Agence des Participations de l'Etat (or state participation agency) – previously controlled 15 percent of Renault's shares, it increased its holdings this April to 19.73 percent. The action sparked concerns at Renault that the French government would attempt to dictate operating procedures to both automakers, potentially to favor production in France over other locations. Given that Renault holds a 43-percent stake in Nissan, the Japanese automaker grew concerned over potential French state interference as well. To assuage those concerns, Renault, Nissan, and the French government came to an agreement with three vital clauses. Most importantly, despite its nearly 20-percent holdings, the French government will be granted only 17.9 percent of voting rights in Renault (to be extended up to 20 percent under certain exceptional circumstances). Renault (and by extension the French government) will also be prevented from interfering in Nissan's governance. With those measures in place, Nissan will not seek more voting rights based on the 15-percent stake which it, in turn, holds in Renault. Having successfully concluded the deal and hedged against the threat of government interference, the Renault board reasserted its confidence in Carlos Ghosn. Through the unique terms of their alliance, Ghosn serves as chairman and CEO of both Renault and Nissan. The two cooperate closely and share resources extending far beyond their chief executive, but remain distinct companies rather than merge, as Fiat and Chrysler have. Renault Board approves alliance stability covenant between Renault and Nissan As early as 16th April 2015, the Renault Board of Directors unanimously reiterated that the sustainability, success and resilience of the Alliance since its very inception in 1999 were based on a balance of shares held by Renault and Nissan.
Nissan Xterra's fate hangs in the balance
Sat, 21 Sep 2013The Nissan Xterra might not be long for this world, according to a report from Edmunds. The rugged SUV, which has always been a bit more of a hardcore, purpose-built vehicle than the rest of the Nissan SUV range. But it has also suffered from slowing sales, low fuel economy relative to the competition and general neglect, as Nissan has focused on other offerings in its range.
"There are plans to replace it, there are always plans, (but) I am not sure it will happen. I would say in the next six months to a year," Pierre Loing, vice president of product planning for Nissan Americas told Edmunds. Part of the problem, he added, was that the Xterra is a US-only vehicle, which makes it a hard sell in a world where automakers are increasingly depending on global cars.
Besides the economic forces working against the Xterra, it's just a vehicle that hasn't been a huge sales success of late. Customers are more conscious of fuel economy and a body-on-frame SUV that only nets 16 miles per gallon just isn't good enough; arguably why Nissan barely sold 17,000 units last year. We can hold out hope, as the Xterra remains a fun off-roader that we'd hate to see go, but unless Nissan finds a business case or some global partners, this is a vehicle that is on its last leg.
Nissan reveals radical BladeGlider concept for Tokyo debut
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Radical reinvention of the automobile doesn't happen very often. There's a reason they refer to it as "reinventing the wheel", after all. But that's what a team of racecar designers did with the original DeltaWing concept in 2010. Originally proposed as an IndyCar racer, the project was subsequently redesigned for Le Mans. That's when Nissan got on board, supported the project for a few races, then took the design in its own direction with the ZEOD RC. And now it's taking it to the road... via the auto show.
What we have here is the BladeGlider concept, a proposal for a delta-shaped electric sportscar which Nissan will present at the Tokyo Motor Show in a couple of weeks. Designed to focus on driving pleasure, the BladeGlider is about as radical as they come. Like the DeltaWing and ZEOD RC, it's got a narrow front track and wide rear to minimize drag and optimize stability, packing a 1+2 seating arrangement to put the driver front and center like in a McLaren F1, with upward-swinging doors and underbody aerodynamics to keep it glued to the road. In-wheel motors (of unspecified output) provide the power, a lightweight lithium-ion battery (not to mention the carbon-fiber bodywork) keeps it all fearther-like, and weight distribution is heavily biased towards the rear at 30:70.
A radical concept, to be sure, but here's the kicker: Nissan wants to build it. As you can see from the press release below, the BladeGlider "is both a proposal for the future direction of Nissan electric vehicle (EV) development and an exploratory prototype for an upcoming production vehicle". While it would undoubtedly take some time to develop, much less certify for road, seeing one of these - or even better, driving one - on our favorite stretches of tarmac strikes us as a prospect worth waiting for.
