1980 Nissan 280ZX 5-Speed T-Tops Okay
eBayers, this is a nice car that needs some interior work.. If you have a bad car with a good interior
this may be the car you have been hoping for.
This a NO RESERVE AUCTION and the
opening bid is a penny.. Any bid could
win so make sure you are of sound mind and body if you are considering a
bid.. I will actually expect the winning
bidder to pay for the car too. I bought
this car from a body shop. It had just received
a beautiful new finish, but the customer who contracted the shop to do the work
lost his job and couldn’t pay the bill.
He finally had to give them the title to avoid a lawsuit and the body
shop sold it to me to recoup some of their losses. This car has an ACTUAL OREGON FREE &
CLEAR TITLE and not a lien certificate or title substitute of some kind. So now I am
listing the car nationally to find the person who can give this car a new
inside to match the beautiful outside.. The car runs
and drives perfectly. It is fast and
performs well. The clutch and brakes are
tight, the tires are new.. Everything
works and the miles are even pretty low.
People stare
at this car when you go down the road in it.
If they saw the inside.. Well
they would still stare but not for the same reasons.. This car was cooked on the inside.. It is dry and rust free, but it sat out in
the baking sun for way too long.. The t-tops
magnified the sun and heat and it just cooked the interior.. The carpet
was replaced already and its perfect, but figure almost everything else is
baked. In short
this is a great running fast Z with an awesome paint job and wasted
interior.. Maybe you
get away with some seat covers and wait for an interior to come up.. Maybe you find a wrecked one.. Maybe you have an upholster do the interior
custom? Up to you.. The possibilities are endless. The car is a
good one though.. Really a strong
runner.. This 280ZX
has a ton of vintage appeal and will surely be one to hold on to for future
appreciation. I am selling
the car with NO RESERVE and I know the Z will sell the first go around as long
as we all play by these rules. #1. Only bid if you have intentions to buy. #2. Ask any
and all questions before bidding. #3. Please
contact me BEFORE BIDDING if you have zero or negative feedback. #4. This is
an AS-IS sale. I have done my best to
describe it exactly as I see it but it has no warranties or guarantees. #5. I will
not accept Pay-Pal for the balance payment of the truck. Pay-Pal is for the deposits only, the balance
must be paid by certified check or wire.
Legitimate and legal buyers only please.
Just be real
and genuine and I will make sure that the winning bidder is happy with his or
her purchase. I have 100% positive
feedback and I plan on keeping that.
Also, I will end the sale for the right offer so don’t wait till the
last second and worry about missing out.
Just call me and we will work out a fair price.. |

Nissan hopes to inject some spice into Rogue with 'Open The Briefcase'
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Nissan is in the midst of rolling out the redesigned 2014 Rogue and has launched an interesting social media game called Open The Briefcase. The video that launches this game depicts a simple ride-share gone very wrong, with a man getting embroiled in a high-speed chase in a bid to escape with a strange briefcase. Eventually, it all goes haywire, and the man and his driver are captured. The only question seems to be, what's in the briefcase?
The contest, which asks participants to select one of three briefcases by cracking a code, is set to reward three individuals with a new Rogue. New attempts can be made each day, and participants can get additional chances to open a briefcase by sharing the video. The contest kicked off on January 3 and will run until February 14. Hop over to the contest page on Facebook to take part, or just watch the video below and enjoy a bit of entertainment.
2014 Nissan Versa Note
Tue, 29 Oct 2013The original Austin Mini was not designed as a fun-to-drive, sporty small car. Its go-kart-like handling and general chuckability were an unintended byproduct of essential aspects of its design. Its four wheels were pushed to the absolute corners of the car to maximize interior space, and its front-wheel-drive layout and transversely mounted engine were in contrast to the rear-wheel-drive, longitudinal layouts of the day.
The result was a highly economical car with space for four and some luggage that just happened to be an absolute hoot to drive. Nissan has followed a similar path in the design of its Versa Note, which strives to provide the maximum amount of space and efficiency in a minimal footprint. On this front, it's successful.
First, we must salute Nissan for departing from the styling of the malformed kidney bean it calls the Versa Sedan. The Versa Note is a fashionably conservative design that neither offends nor excites. The front fascia is arguably its most conservative point, with high-mounted headlights and a sharper, cleaner version of Nissan's familial grille. The tail, with its funky I-don't-know-what-shape-I-am taillights contributes most of the car's flair. The large, spacious greenhouse, particularly up front, keeps passengers from feeling hemmed-in while letting in plenty of light.
Nissan NV200 taxi goes on sale in NYC while mandate still being figured out
Sat, 12 Oct 2013Cab drivers in New York City may not be mandated to purchase the Nissan NV200 "Taxi of Tomorrow" per the orders of a Supreme Court Judge, but that isn't stopping Nissan from beginning sales of the bright yellow people movers.
Speaking to Automotive News, Howard Koeppel, a Queens-based dealer said, "We just got them about three days ago, and we've sold five to individual operators. They're good cars." A fully loaded example of the Mexican-built taxi is priced at $29,700, and are due to officially begin service on October 28.
The NV is meant to be the go-to vehicle for NYC cabbies, mandated by the Taxi and Limousine Commission, although the process of switching over the city's 15,000 cabs has been ensnarled by legal proceedings virtually since the word "go."
