Not sure where to start, but basically I got ripped off, in over my head, and have ran out of time. i don't want to rip anyone off because i'm around 8k plus, into this car and really just want to sell it. it's almost done but i am out of time and money so read ahead and here is my complete story

i bought this car back in feb 2013 i was told it only needed a couple thousand to get the car running again. problems with the car were just a fuse, breaks, and suspension.
i purchased all the suggested parts and the electrical problems did not improve. The problems the car has as far as electrical are no lights, interior exterior, a/c, instrument cluster. other problems that are in need of attention is the outside body work, this is the easiest and cheapest of the problems as the bumper and fenders need to be fitted and painted. the breaks need to be bled, all calipers, rotors, and pads are brand new professionally installed with receipts front and rear (1000$) the 5 lug is installed on the front i have brand new parts for the rear if you want to swap out the rotor and hub.it runs a little funny sometimes from a bad sensor, you can tell its a sensor because it idles and revs healthily with no weird ticks or sounds. It runs with a little lag only sometimes, and others it will run like new.  again im not trying to rip anyone off so i'm trying to list any possible down sides of this car, other than that it is a Really nice car with an excellent almost new interior. i has a lot of potential. if you have the time you can easily make money off this car, i put it up on craigslist without listing the problems for 10k and my phone was blowing up for two weeks. my guess is another 1500$-2500$ more into it so plan to spend a couple grand for the electrical and body. The electrical i believe to be one problem, mainly because its not a few things shorted out, its EVERYTHING so my guess is the guy before me unhooked something and im just to stupid to notice. i'm not sure, and i doubt it will be a few hundred to fix most likely around 1000$ to find the problem

Potential, is endless you can use it as a badass race car, or keep it and put it back to stock and make it the RAREST 240 anyone has seen.

THIS CAR IS A NEEDLE IN A HAY STACK, ALTHOUGH IT NEEDS WORK YOU WILL NOTTTT!! FIND A 240 WITH THIS LOW OF MILES AND THIS NICE OF INTERIOR ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD.  THE CLOSEST ONE I HAVE SEEN HAD 89,000 MILES ON IT AND IT SOLD FOR 13,500 ON HERE

MIGHT BE MISSING SOMETHING FEEL FREE TO GIVE ME A TEXT/CALL ANYTIME IM HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS

Angry Nissan Leaf Driver may make 'Rolling Coal' illegal in New Jersey

Mon, Aug 11 2014

It's always a few bad apples who ruin polluting just for fun for the rest of us. That time-honored American tradition of being rude for laughs, otherwise known as 'rolling coal,' might become illegal in New Jersey, if a Nissan Leaf-driving politician gets his way. The politician in question is State Assemblyman Tim Eustace (D-Bergen), who was purposefully hit by a blast of dark smoke recently while driving his Leaf on the New Jersey Turnpike, according to NJ.com. This personal experience of what he called "just youthful ignorance" is encouraging him to submit a bill (A3583), which, "Prohibits retrofitting diesel-powered vehicles to increase particulate emissions for the purpose of 'coal rolling'; prohibits the practice of 'coal rolling.'" If you're caught violating the law, you would be hit with a fine from the state Department of Environmental Protection. Of course, the Feds say it is already illegal to modify an exhaust system in a way that allows coal rolling. Rolling coal has become a bit of a meme recently, with videos of laughing truck drivers spewing their modified exhaust pipes at green cars, pedestrians and bikers around the country. Eustace told NJ.com that, "People had been telling this has been going on, but I hadn't seen it. I was surprised to experience it myself." Perhaps a coal roller in New Jersey will be surprised, too, when the first big fine hits. News Source: NJ.comImage Credit: YouTube Green Nissan Green Culture Diesel Vehicles rolling coal

Nissan reports $4.13B net income for 2012

Sat, 11 May 2013

The news for Nissan is good when it comes to the company's results for the 2012 financial year that ended on March 31. Even though the numbers were down in many of the world's major markets, increased sales in the US, Brazil and the Middle East, ten new models and a strong fourth quarter allowed Nissan to hit its target for the year and notch record sales of 4.914 million units globally. On net revenue of $116 billion, Nissan posted net income of $4.13 billion and an operating profit of $6.31 billion.
There are upward-looking projections for this year, Nissan forecasting a 7.8-percent jump in sales to 5.3 million units, with $117.89 billion in net revenue and $4.42 billion in net income. That net revenue number probably won't actually match what's reported next year, though, because Nissan is changing its accounting method and won't include revenue and operating profit results from its joint venture with China's Dongfeng. Net income doesn't change under the new method, but the adjusted net revenue forecast is $109.16 billion.
There's a press release and two videos below with more details for those of you who go gaga for annual reports.

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic

Mon, Oct 24 2016

Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. You can check out Consumer Reports entire reliability roundup, even without a subscription, here.
