This is  great 240 SX SE that I have owned for eight years, I was its 3rd owner well technically 4th because the car was recently put in my name instead of my parents. Before that it belonged to a family friend, who worked at Nissan and was its second owner, so it has been really well taken care of. It has always been garage kept and well maintained with regular oil changes and tire rotations. It is an automatic that has right under 130,000 miles. Everything on this car is original, no modifications have been done. We put new tires on it at 119,432 miles. The interior is a dark grey cloth, that looks brand new. Drivers seat and side panel does have a small burn mark, which had to have been from the original owner. It is a smoke free car since I and my family friend owned it. The dash is in great condition, no cracks or fading, same with the steering wheel. Steering is very tight and responsive. One tie rod end was replaced within the year and a front end alignment was done. It had a new starter put on at 93,000 miles. New air filter, new fuel filter and the throttle body was cleaned and serviced within the year. Has new struts all around as well as a new radiator fan and hoses. The air conditioning and heat work great!

The CD player and radio work fine, but the volume knob is very temperamental. It does have a check engine light on. I had it checked and it was nothing major, which is why I didn't have it fixed. It runs great and is a daily driver, I drive it anywhere I need to go. It does burn some oil, usually needs about a quart in between oil changes. Love this car, it is such a fun car to drive and has been treated well. Sadly, I decided to get a four door car and do not have the garage space anymore.

This car is also for sale locally, so I do reserve the right to end this auction early. Thanks for looking!

Pontiac Aztek enjoys rebirth thanks to Millennials

Fri, Sep 11 2015

Apparently, Millennials – those between 18 and 34 – aren't afraid to look different on the road, and they like performance, too. A new study by Edmunds is discovering some surprising vehicle choices by this group. Among them, the long-derided Pontiac Aztek is getting a new day in the sun with 25.5 percent its buyers coming from this generation in the first half of 2015. For comparison, Millennials represent an average of 16.8 percent of used car purchases. The Aztek is slowly shaking its reputation as a styling abomination, which seems tied to its appearance on Breaking Bad. The show premiered in 2008, and the Pontiac has been on this list for four of the past five years, according to Edmunds. It even led the pack in 2010. A recent Retro Review from MotorWeek also showed that the crossover wasn't always so hated. While it's still a shock to see the Aztek on any popularity list, the awkward-looking crossover only ranks sixth among Millennials. The vehicle with the biggest portion of buyers from the generation is the Dodge Magnum with 27.6 percent. According to Edmunds, the bluntly styled wagon is especially popular in Detroit and Chicago. The Chrysler Pacifica comes in a close second at 27.3 percent. When it comes to used cars, value and utility appear to trump just about anything else for many Millennial buyers," Edmunds analyst Jeremy Acevedo said in the report. Young buyers aren't afraid of sporty rides, either. The Subaru WRX has 26.4 percent Millennial buyers to rank third place on the list, and the Volkswagen R32 takes fifth at 25.7 percent. Just a few points lower in seventh place is the Nissan GT-R at 25.4 percent, and the final performance machine in 10th place is the Lexus IS-F with 24.7 percent. Related Video:

This tiny 1.5L engine from Nissan makes 400 horsepower

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

Back in 2012, Ford packed its tiny 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder in a carry-on suitcase, destined for use in the Fiesta here in the US. In June, Nissan will pack its tiny new three-cylinder engine in a 24 Hours of Le Mans racecar. Nissan's don't-call-me-DeltaWing ZEOD RC racecar will still be able to tackle a single lap under full electric power, but the rest of the time it will be powered by the new 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine.
Holding the lightweight engine (at right) is Nismo president Shoichi Miyatani, and he's likely smiling because that 40-kilogram (88-pound) engine packs quite a punch with 400 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Nissan would like to take a moment to point out this engine's power-to-weight is better than the engines currently used in Formula One racecars. Scroll down for more information on this new race engine, which we'll see in action at Le Mans in June.

Infiniti confirms new "premium compact" to be built in UK

Thu, 20 Dec 2012

Aside from certain naming-related news, Infiniti has actually had some decent product news to announce this week. The company's president, Johan de Nysschen, alluded to a new 550-horsepower performance sedan, and now the automaker has confirmed that a new "premium compact" will go into production in 2015. Based on the fact that this new model will be built alongside the Nissan Leaf at the automaker's Sunderland, UK assembly plant, we could only hope that it's a production version of the LE Concept (shown above).
Sunderland already produces Nissan products like the Qashqai, Juke and Note, and as a part of an investment of 250 million British pounds (around $406 million USD) for the new model, the plant would add an extra 280 jobs with the capacity to build 60,000 of the new Infinitis annually. Adding the premium compact at Sunderland means that Infiniti will have to change its plans for another new model, a bigger "C-segment hatchback," which could very well be a production version of the Etherea Concept.
