1995 Nissan 240sx!!! Newly Rebuilt!!! Ready For Turbo!!! Phenomenal Condition!!! on 2040-cars
Gainesville, Florida, United States
If you are going to contact me READ THIS DESCRIPTION FIRST!!!! I have and will always consider this car my baby. As such, I have only given her the best treatment I can afford. I have installed only the best (in mine and many others opinion) parts that I could buy (without seriously breaking the bank). I have also done ALL the work to this car and I can guarantee you everything was done correctly and according to spec and recommendation. I have paperwork for every last purchase (no matter how small and/or insignificant). I am selling this vehicle because, as much as I wish I could finish her, I have run across financial problems and need the money more than the car. That is why I am selling it well below its value. I bought the car a couple years back in South Florida. It has minimal wear and tear for the year and mileage. I have since than invested many thousands of dollars, along with countless labor hours into this car. I have personally touched and in spectated every aspect of this car. The car is completely rust-free. The car runs excellent and pulls hard. HERE IS THE GOOD >Low chassis miles >Practically New, Rebuilt Engine- Under 1800 MI .20mm Overbore --- CP Pistons; BC Rods; Resurfaced Crank; Completely Rebuilt Head (all new(cams (s13 246), springs, retainers, etc.)); Shimmed to OEM Clearance All new bearings and bushings; valve job; ETC.,ETC.,ETC. >It had a Excessive Intake Manifold (Custom Cold Air Intake) (Custom Vacuum Lines) (IACV Included), since I have removed the manifold and replaced it with a emissions free, stock ka24de manifold (completely rebuilt). >ONLY 93grade gasoline (premium) w/300zx fuel filter (larger/better flow for higher CC injectors); literally just replaced as car has sat for the past couple months >NON-Synthetic Mobil Oil for break-in (>1000mi); Only ENEOS 5W-40 Fully Synthetic Oil Following; Always K&N Oil Filter >PROPER BREAK IN With Constant Varied Load for Best Piston Ring Set >EGR Block-off > New TPS Sensor >New Coolant Temperature Sensor >NGK Spark Plug Wires >DC Sports Exhaust Header >Apexi GT Spec Exhaust (Largest Exhaust System Available; Perfect for LARGE TURBO) >3" High Flow Test Pipe >Lightweight Aluminum Drive-shaft >Aluminum Sub-frame Mounts (Rubber Pads installed for Minimal Noise) > Polyurethane Master Bushing Kit (Installed throughout, except for the Front Strut Bushings as I was going to replace them when I installed coilovers) >KYB Struts w/AGX Springs >Tanabe Front and Rear Sway Bars (Chromely (Strong but Lightweight)) >Nismo Front Power Brace (Stiffens the Front (Common Suspension Weakness in 240s)) >Altima/Q45 Dual Electric Fans (Wired to two Toggles) (Can Rewire if Desired) >AM Water Temp Gauge with In-line Electronic Thermostat Adapter >Koyo Triple-Core Aluminum Radiator >Nismo Low-Temp Thermostat >300zx Front/Rear Brakes -Cross-Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotors -Calipers >300zx Stainless Steel Conversion Lines (Prevents Flex/Wear that Rubber Lines Succumb to) >300zx Brake Booster and Master Cylinder (filled with Motul 500 Racing Brake Fluid(Does NOT Break Down under High Temps) >Short Throw Shifter >4-point Racing Harness (Driver) >Nismo Front Strut Bar >Tanabe Chromely Rear Strut Bar (Strong but Lightweight) >Walboro High Flow Fuel Pump >Excessive Lowering Motor Mount Mounts (Lowers center of gravity and greatly improves handing) >92da Polyurethane Cusco Motor Mounts >89da Transmission Mount >r32 Skyline E-Brake Cables >18inch x 8 BK RACING RIMS (fresh Falken Tires >2000 ml) >Every worn bolt/Hose/O-ring, ETC. has been replaced and I have EVERY SINGLE receipt (Yes, even the bolts) (When replacing the manifold with OEM, I replaced the hoses once again) >New battery >ACT Stage 2 or 3 Clutch (Easy Engagement, with Minimal Travel) >ACT Pro-lite Flywheel >New Alternator >New Starter >New Distributor >New Everything>LOL > I am sure there are PLENTY of Parts I have left out but feel free to contact me if you had a question about anything included I have a couple of extra aftermarket parts, I have yet to install, that I will include for the right price (ex. NEW AEM FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR w/Gauge). ****************I have all the interior and it is all in Superb Condition (except for a couple small holes in the door panels). I have re-installed all of the interior that I had removed, the exception being the rear seat (as the racing harness is is bolted to the seat bolts). -The Bad > Doesn't need a paint job by any means (no clear coat damage). If anything I wash it too much. But the fenders have been replaced as they had a couple small dings (flat black). The front bumper has some damage from the previous owner (passenger). The hood is also has some small damage, but I have a replacement hood in great shape, which I will include in the sale for the right price. > The front aux light on the passenger side is not sealed. As a result it has some mold and dirt inside (the aux light only). >Has some rim scrapes from previous owner, Covered up with paint and is not really noticeably unless your looking for them. I cannot think of any others problems with the car. Expect a tad of wear and tare, it is an older car. >Driver Side Power Window has Motor Removed, but I have a new replacement motor. This car is fully ready for a FULL TURBO SYSTEM!!!! This car was built with the intention of producing +/- 400 HP, but the engine is designed for more!!! I have all the parts that I have removed, and even a couple of extra parts (even the emissions). This car was being set up to be a mostly track car/with street use. As such it is a little noisy and vibration is common. However, it is a very tame street car, and it doesn't produce excessive power, or uncontrollable understeer or oversteer. The car has been tuned by a local specialty shop, however the car has yet to receive a proper ECM tune to properly adjust the Air/Fuel ratio. As a result, the idle occasionally dips on modest runs. This is due to the removal of the emissions, and the fact that this build is not complete (turbo/tune). THIS CAR HAS BEEN STREET DRIVEN, BUT IT IS HAS NOT BEEN MY DAILY DRIVER!!! Like I have said before if I forgot anything I will let the buyer know before purchase. I am taking a huge loss in both material and sentimental value, so please do not purchase my car if you are not going to care for her properly. I HAVE ~ $13,000 to $14,000 INVESTED INTO THIS CAR This car is for sale locally, and as such I reserve the right to void this auction before its conclusion. PLEASE READ!!!!! PAYMENT - It is MANDATORY that I receive a deposit of no less than $1000 to be submitted through PAYPAL within 24 hours of this auction's completion. THIS DEPOSIT WILL BE NON-REFUNDABLE. The remaining payment must be made though PAYPAL, Certified Check, or delivered in cash at pick-up. I will ONLY accept the remaining payment through PAYPAL if the buyer incurs the transaction fee (which will have to be added to the payment total, when submitted)(the $1000 deposit will be the only exception). If the remaining balance is to be paid with Certified Check or PAYPAL then the money MUST CLEAR before I will allow the car to be picked up! The check must also be made out for the exact amount due, no more, no less. IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE I MUST BE ABLE TO WITHDRAW THE FULL AMOUNT DUE AND PHYSICALLY TOUCH THE MONEY BEFORE I WILL ALLOW THE CAR TO BE SHIPPED OR PICKED UP. NO EXCEPTIONS! Thank You |

Nissan recalling GT-R, Infiniti crossovers over steering column issue
Wed, Feb 11 2015Nissan has discovered a problem with the steering column on some of its higher-end all-wheel-drive vehicles from a few years back, and has issued a recall in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to address the issue. The issue revolves around the outer tube on the steering column, which may not be perfectly round. That would put extra stress on the upper steering bearing, which could cause it to fracture, disabling the car's steering ability and potentially leading to a crash. The problem affects Nissan's flagship GT-R supercar – specifically 2009 models manufactured between March 14, 2007, and April 25, 2008) as well as an array of Infiniti crossovers: namely the 2008 EX35 and the 2008-09 FX35 and FX45. In the case of the luxury crossovers, Infiniti dealers are being instructed to replace just the steering shaft, but Nissan dealers will have to replace the entire steering column assembly on the GT-R. All told, the recall is estimated to encompass 16,973 vehicles across the United States. RECALL Subject : Steering Column Tube may be Out of Round Report Receipt Date: FEB 02, 2015 NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V054000 Component(s): STEERING Potential Number of Units Affected: 16,973 Manufacturer: Nissan North America, Inc. SUMMARY: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2008 Infiniti EX35 vehicles manufactured June 29, 2007, to April 25, 2008, 2009 Infiniti FX35 and FX45 vehicles manufactured October 31, 2007, to April 16, 2008, and 2009 Nissan GT-R vehicles manufactured March 14, 2007, to April 25, 2008. The steering column outer tube may not be round, resulting in extra stress being applied to the upper steering bearing. This stress may cause the bearing retainer to fracture, creating extra play in the steering wheel or a possible loss of steering. CONSEQUENCE: Extra play in the steering wheel or a loss of steering may increase the risk of a crash. REMEDY: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the steering shaft on the Infiniti EX35, FX35, and FX45 vehicles, and will replace the steering column assembly on the Nissan GT-R vehicles, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Infiniti owners may contact customer service at 1-800-662-6200. Nissan owners may contact the GT-R hotline at 1-866-668-1487.
Nissan, Toyota offering payment deferments to people affected by government shutdown
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Two weeks into the budget-related government shutdown and it sounds like some progress is finally being made, but that doesn't really help furloughed government employees pay their bills. To help out a little, Nissan and Toyota are joining Hyundai with offering payment deferments to current owners and lessees.
In a release, a Nissan spokesperson said the company is "sympathetic to any of our customers who find themselves in difficult financial circumstances - many times outside of their control."
Both Japanese automakers are allowing payment extensions of up to 90 days without penalties or fees. Unlike the Hyundai Assurance Plan, though, it doesn't seem like the Nissan or Toyota assistance will be extended to those who are still in the buying process. Scroll down for press releases from both companies about their respective payment deferment programs.
Four Wheeler crowns Ultimate Factory 4x4... who wins?
Thu, 15 Nov 2012Nearly every automaker doing business in the SUV or pickup truck segments offers a package designed to improve the off-road capabilities of its wares. But, of course, not all such factory kits are created equal. How, then, to separate the wheat from the chaff? Gather each of them up and put them through their paces, naturally.
The folks from Four Wheeler and PickupTrucks.com joined forces to run just such a comparison test, with the winner named the Ultimate Factory 4x4. A total of seven vehicles showed up to the fight: the 2012 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 2012 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X and Xterra PRO-4X, 2012 Ram Power Wagon, and 2012 Toyota 4Runner Trail and Tacoma TRD T|X Baja Series.
With the contestants in place, the whole crew put each vehicle through a battery of tests that included skidpad and acceleration measurements, a hillclimb, a rocky stairstep course and a rock garden. Considering the nature of the beasts, on-road ride and comfort were not part of the routine.
