Lowered on tein springs and tokico shocks. Z32 front brakes and master cylinder. Single piece drive shaft , solid sub frame bushings , J30 vlsd diff, Jgsturbo.com motor and transmission mounts . Nice clean interior, a/c and cruise control still work well. Some clear coat issues on the bumpers. Made 263whp on the original trans, more possible on the TT trans. CC, A/C , power windows , power locks all work well. Full Alarm W/ remote start. Great long distance driver, regular oil changes, no leaks etc. 350Z wheels w/ new tires on the rear (245 wide) and decent tread on the front. 100% turn-key, not somebodies 1/2 done project car. Honda may recall up to 1M vehicles for airbag issue, following Toyota's lead
Mon, 16 Jun 2014It seems Toyota won't be the only one recalling the faulty Takata airbag inflators for long. Honda insiders in Japan claim that the company is getting close to announcing its own worldwide campaign that would begin before the end of June.
Unnamed sources close to Honda in Japan tell Automotive News that the company is pursuing an internal investigation into possibly affected models and is working with Takata to gather more information. They claim that it could involve even more than the 1.14 million cars worldwide that the automaker covered under the first recall for the problem in April 2013, including 561,000 vehicles in the US.
Toyota jumpstarted this process last week when it recalled over 2 million cars worldwide, including 844,277 in the US. Soon after, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began a preliminary evaluation into the issue following six reported incidents, and started assembling data about potentially affected models from Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Chrysler. NHTSA also began investigating Takata itself.
Nissan Rogue, Pathfinder and Infiniti QX60 recalled for loose lug nuts
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Nissan has announced a small recall affecting 334 vehicles built just a few months back. 2014 Nissan Rogue and Pathfinder and 2014 Infiniti QX60 CUVs built between March 7 and March 10, 2014 could be susceptible to a loose lug nut on the passenger side wheels.
We shouldn't have to explain why a loose lug is a bit of an issue. Thankfully, it's also a ridiculously easy fix. Nissan obviously recommends reporting to your local dealer - and it will begin notifying owners of affected vehicles - but this is one of those rare recalls that has an easy DIY element to it.
