Nissan hopes to inject some spice into Rogue with 'Open The Briefcase'

Nissan is in the midst of rolling out the redesigned 2014 Rogue and has launched an interesting social media game called Open The Briefcase. The video that launches this game depicts a simple ride-share gone very wrong, with a man getting embroiled in a high-speed chase in a bid to escape with a strange briefcase. Eventually, it all goes haywire, and the man and his driver are captured. The only question seems to be, what's in the briefcase?
The contest, which asks participants to select one of three briefcases by cracking a code, is set to reward three individuals with a new Rogue. New attempts can be made each day, and participants can get additional chances to open a briefcase by sharing the video. The contest kicked off on January 3 and will run until February 14. Nissan bringing 2014 Versa Note to Detroit

Nissan today confirmed that it will be showing the 2014 Versa Note - not Versa, not Note, but Versa Note - at next week's 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And while we can't see a whole lot from this one teaser image, we're willing to bet that the car looks a lot like this.
All Nissan will tell us at this time is that the Versa Note will have "segment-exclusive technology, outstanding fuel economy, smart packaging and class-leading cargo space." Sounds... class-competitive.
Given how turned-off we are by the second-generation Versa sedan, it'll be interesting to see just what's in store for this Notably more functional version of the affordable compact. Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge to cost over $100,000?

Enthusiasts have been clamoring for Infiniti to build a car like the Q50 Eau Rouge for years. In concept form, it employs the GT-R's much-loved 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6, tuned to produce 560 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque, with the whole works slid underneath fetching luxury sedan bodywork with carbon fiber aero aids. At this point, the model is rumored to be all but certain for production. The company recently even put Sebastian Vettel in one to show it off. However, Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen is suggesting that the model's lifetime could be brief, limited and rather expensive.
The Infiniti boss recently gave a long interview to Motor Trend that spilled a lot of beans about the Eau Rouge. While he refused to officially admit that the super sedan was on the way, he admits that he's "pushing the Eau Rouge concept for commercialization."
According to de Nysschen, if built, the production version will hew closely to the concept with the engine from the GT-R, but the seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system will come from the Q70.
