If you are going to contact me READ THIS DESCRIPTION FIRST!!!!

I have and will always consider this car my baby. I have done all the work to this car and I can guarantee you everything was done correctly and according to spec and recommendation. I have paperwork for every last purchase (no matter how small and/or insignificant).

I am selling this vehicle because, as much as I wish I could finish it, I have run across financial problems and need the money more than the car. That is why I am selling it well below its value, as I have between $13,000 and $14,000 invested in it.

I purchased this car a couple years back in South Florida. It had minimal wear and under 130,000MI. I have since than invested many thousands of dollars, along with countless labor hours into this car. I have personally touched and in spectated every aspect of this car. The car is completely rust-free. The car runs excellent and pulls hard.

As such,
>DO NOT waste my time and yours.
>While Ill entertain offers NO LOW-BALLERS --- I know exactly what my car is worth and I know I will NEVER get the money and time I have invested into it, but have some common sense. Do not make a "stupid" offer.
>No test drives, unless I have the cash in hand.

*** Although there are two accidents listed in the vehicle history report, both were minor accidents with VERY MINIMAL damage. The first was under the previous owner, and the extent of the damage was limited to some small dents on the front fender. The second was while I was driving in town (under 35 mph), and only resulted in some curb rash to the rims and very little paint swap (rubbed right off). The only reason both accidents were claimed was so that insurance reimbursed the cost of replacements parts.

The Bad
> Doesn't need a paint job by any means (no clear coat damage). If anything I wash it too much. But the fenders have been replaced as they had a couple small dings (flat black). The front bumper has some damage from the previous owner (passenger). The hood is also has some small damage, but I have a replacement hood in great shape, which I will include in the sale for the right price.
> The front aux light on the passenger side is not sealed. As a result it has some mold and dirt inside (the aux light only).
>Has some rim scrapes from previous owner, Covered up with paint and is not really noticeably unless your looking for them.
I cannot think of any others problems with the car. Expect a tad of wear and tare, it is an older car.
>Driver Side Power Window has Motor Removed, but I have a new replacement motor.

This car is fully ready for a FULL TURBO SYSTEM!!!! This car was built with the intention of producing +/- 400 HP, but the engine is designed for more!!!

I have all the parts that I have removed, and even a couple of extra parts (even the emissions).

This car was being set up to be a mostly track car/with street use. As such it is a little noisy and vibration is common. However, it is a very tame street car, and it doesn't produce excessive power, or produce uncontrollable understeer or oversteer.

The car has been tuned by a local specialty shop, however the car has yet to receive a proper ECM tune to properly adjust the Air/Fuel ratio. As a result, the idle occasionally dips on modest runs. This is due to the removal of the emissions, and the fact that this build is not complete (turbo/tune).

THIS CAR HAS BEEN STREET DRIVEN, BUT IT IS HAS NOT BEEN MY DAILY DRIVER!!!

Like I said before if I forgot anything I will let the buyer know before purchase.

Also I am taking a huge loss in both material and sentimental value, so please do not purchase my car if you are not going to care for her properly.

***PAINT***
I will be willing to give the car a professional quality paint job, in your choice of color, for the right price. If the car does not sell within a couple weeks I will proceed with replacing the front bumper with a oem replacement and painting the vehicle black.

I HAVE ~ $13,000 to $14,000 INVESTED INTO THIS CAR

Thank You.

Price is $8500 OBO
I will entertain "reasonable" offers.

***TRADES***
I would be willing to take a partial trade (plus cash on your end) for a smaller size truck (4V/6V), that is in good shape with relatively low mileage. If you send me a text, pertaining to a trade, please include a couple of pics, some basic information, and your offer, and I will get back to you. Please use common sense, I will not take your 1980/90-something truck with $1000 on top.

Nissan prices replacement Leaf battery at $5,500

Fri, Jun 27 2014

The battery pack is the single most expensive component in a plug-in vehicle and, until now, figuring out the cost to replace one has been a bit of a mystery. Last year, Nissan tried a $100/month price for a new battery in its popular Leaf, but was loudly criticized for that attempt. Today, Nissan is changing gears with a big announcement regarding the price of a new pack for your Nissan Leaf: $5,500 to buy. With an asterisk. Nissan's Brian Brockman, writing at My Nissan Leaf, announced that Nissan Leaf replacement batteries are now available to purchase at certified Leaf dealers in the US at a suggested retail price of $5,499. These packs are the ones found in 2015 Leaf models, which are similar to the ones the Leaf has always had, just with a different, better battery chemistry. To buy a new pack, you need to give Nissan your original battery pack (which Nissan says will be recycled and has a value of $1,000) and the $5,500 "does not include tax, installation fees or an installation kit required for 2011 and 2012 vehicles." That kit costs around $225. A $100/month financing program will still be available (details will be made available later) but now it will have an end date and the driver will own the pack at the end of the payment process. All replacement packs will have the same eight-year, 100,000-mile warranty as the battery in a new Leaf. You can read Brockman's full statement below or over on My Nissan Leaf. Ever since the Leaf entered the market in late 2010, Nissan has been dealing with degrading battery issue, both as a real thing (in warm climates like Arizona) and as a worry in the mind of potential customers. Now that we know how much it'll cost to get a new pack, we can calculate that the overall cost for a new 24-kWh pack is now officially $6,500. That means the price to a customer is less than $270-per-kWh. That's quite low compared to some early estimates, right on target with others and a very big deal for EV shoppers and drivers out there. Hi all: I'm happy to be back to provide a long-awaited update on the Nissan LEAF battery replacement plan. Last year, I posted preliminary details of the program that we'd created based on early survey data, and it led to spirited discussion (and very vocal criticism). So we went back to the drawing board with your comments and the ongoing guidance of the LEAF Advisory Board.

Investigators say Mitsubishi mpg scandal was 'collective failure'

Tue, Aug 2 2016

Investigators hired by Mitsubishi Motors to probe why the Japanese automaker engaged in falsifying fuel-economy figures for the past quarter-century faulted the company's "corporate culture." Specifically, there was a lack of unity between divisions, company-wide pressure to boost fuel-efficiency numbers, and an unwillingness to accept fuel-economy shortfalls, Automotive News says, citing comments made by consultants who hired by the company to investigate the problems. Challenging management authority even if it was proper to do so was also frowned upon. One of the investigators called the scandal "a collective failure." Among other suggestions, the consultants recommended that Mitsubishi's vehicle-mileage certification be independent from research and development, that there's greater transparency overall, and that there's a more thorough understanding of laws. New shareholder Nissan may also invest in retooling Mitsubishi's R&D operations, and is sending one of its former executives, Mitsuhiko Yamashita, to Mitsubishi to try to prevent any sort of repeat problems. Mitsubishi joined a list of automakers including Volkswagen, Hyundai/Kia, and Ford that have been found in recent years to either mislead with its published fuel-efficiency figures or emissions-testing procedures. A Nissan spokesman declined to comment on the Mitsubishi report, according to Automotive News. The recommendation comes less than three months after the announcement that Nissan would help rescue Mitsubishi from its fuel-economy scandal by acquiring part of the company. Nissan agreed in May to pay $2.2 billion for a 34-percent stake in Mitsubishi, and said at the time that Mitsubishi would join the Renault-Nissan Alliance. Nissan also owns 15 percent of France-based Renault. That announcement came right after Mitsubishi's admission that it may have falsified fuel-economy data for every one of its vehicles made in Japan dating back to 1991. 2013 Nissan Pathfinder: Wrap-Up [w/video]

Tue, 13 May 2014

Despite our tendency as enthusiasts to clamor for things like wagons and hot hatchbacks, it's hard to argue with the buying public's increasing demand for functional crossovers. In fact, the great SUV craze of the late-1990s has all but faded in favor of the easier-driving, better-packaged, more-efficient crossover. That's even true at the larger end of the market - just look at what happened when Ford redesigned its body-on-frame Explorer into a stylish and well-equipped CUV. And now look at the similar success Nissan has had in repurposing its rugged Pathfinder sport-ute as an appealing crossover.
But happily, we report the following line: out of every long-term vehicle Autoblog has ever tested, not a single one has been as in-demand as the 2013 Pathfinder Platinum you see here. After 13 months of solid use, we added 24,372 miles to the Pfinder's odometer - and that's without the vehicle ever leaving the hands of our Detroit-based team (sorry, West Coasters).
There's good reason for that high-demand usage, too. After spending a little over a year with our Mocha Stone tester (a color that earned this Nissan the nickname "Sweet Brown") we came to appreciate its vast versatility, comfort, all-weather prowess, and the way it absolutely ate up the miles on long trips. We drove it all over the United States, in all four seasons, filling it with our families, friends, and occasionally using its capacious cabin for sleeping on the road. Through good and bad, the Pathfinder was a trusty friend. But like any good friendship, that wasn't without a couple of fights.
