Up For sale is my fully built 2003 Lancer Evolution VIII. The car was built by a very reputable shop called DynoTech Tuning in Seekonk Mass and I have every receipt for every modification ever done to this car. There is less then 2000 miles on the new motor, transmission, transfer case, turbo and almost all the rest of the mods that were done there. There is roughly $35,000 worth of mods done to this car including labor/tuning.

If you have any questions about the car dont hesitate to call/text me at 203-592-4998 (If I don't answer please leave a message and I will get back to you)

Good:
-Made 487whp on a mustang dyno, which is equal too 550whp to a dynojet dyno on 93 octane.
-No rust! Car is located in Connecticut but has never seen snow. I have always garaged it during the winter and waited for the sand and salt to clear before Ive taken it back out on the road.
-Very reliable built car (Buschur Racing / GSC longblock), only the best parts used (sparktech, ets, tial, aem, buschur, gsc etc etc)
-Handles like a dream with the wider tires (1.5 inch wider then stock) and the 8k/10k fa500 coilovers. Car is an all around car you can take it to the road courses and do well or to the strip and run 10s/11s all day.
-Car was built to handle a lot more power (stage 2 shepard transfer case, QM 8 leg clutch) So if you wanted to tune for e85/meth you could easily make 150 more whp and the car would be able to handle it no problem.

Bad:
-No headliner, no trunk liner
-Plastic interior pieces are not installed (B pillar and C pillar) but will be included with the purchase of the car
-Rear seat belts not installed (included with the purchase of the car)
-Carbon Fiber hood has heat damage
(very minor, not noticeable unless close up)
-Few dings/rock chips (roof has a minor bend in it from the installation of the carbon fiber sunroof insert and the front bumper has some damage that you cannot see unless your looking from underneath the car)

If you have any questions about the car please email me at QuickSilverEvo8@yahoo.com. Car is sold as is.
Idle and Walk Around!

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV US launch delayed over battery shortage

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

Mitsubishi resumed full-scale battery production in August after a five-month shutdown due to a safety investigation. Supplier Lithium Energy Japan has been delivering 4,000 battery packs each month since September, but that's apparently still not enough to fill the overseas inventory pipeline for the Outlander PHEV and i subcompact EV while launching the Outlander PHEV here in the US. So instead of the previous tentative launch date of Fall 2014, the plug-in hybrid's Stateside on-sale date has been pushed back until 2015.
That's according to Automotive News, which also notes that Mitsubishi has sold 11,300 plug-in Outlanders this year, though that number reflects the production stoppage over the battery issues. As of April, battery supplier LEJ will be able to supply 5,000 packs per month just for the Outlander, but company president Osamu Masuko has gone on record saying that production will have to rise above that in order to make the US launch.
Every Mitsubishi dealer (and hopefully a fair number of consumers) will be looking forward to a crossover that, for the moment, doesn't really have natural rivals. The Outlander PHEV can drive 32 miles on electricity alone, has a top speed of 75 miles per hour in EV mode and offers all-wheel drive with a towing capacity of over 3,000 pounds. The model should get an impressive MPGe rating from the EPA when it finally arrives and it figures to be a bellwether for the plug-in Outlander Sport and Pajero utility vehicles that are expected to arrive after it. Hopefully 2015 will be its year.

Mitsubishi Evolution reborn as electric crossover

Wed, Oct 25 2017

Forget everything you ever knew about the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. The potent, raw sport sedan that was a semi-mythical enthusiast fantasy for years is dead. In its place now comes an electric crossover, called the e-Evolution, as the Japanese automaker moves forward in a new era where mobility matters more than performance. It's a tacit admission that a small company can't afford to compete in the narrowest of niches — sport sedans — and a shrinking one at that. The e-Evolution shows Mitsubishi's new strategic direction, and it will be capable of using artificial intelligence, connectivity and other mobility solutions. Enthusiasts will take heart that the e-Evolution has all-wheel drive, a sophisticated three-motor system that works with Mitsu's Super All-Wheel Control to aid traction and driving dynamics. The electric batteries feeding the powertrain are placed in the middle of the concept underneath, which provides a low center of gravity. The design is striking. It's sharp with indentures, a prominent grille and large wheels set at the corners. There's huge air intakes, the ride height is elevated, and the back end features a hexagon design that recalls the spare tire cover from the Mitsubishi Shogun off-roader. The back also has jet-styled mini tailfins that help pass air cleanly by the sides to aid aerodynamics. Inside is a large flat screen bookended by two smaller screens. The e-Evolution also has sensors that help the vehicle read road conditions and try to coordinate the driver's intent. In short, this isn't your father's Evo. That's not Mitsubishi's intent. Rather, it's putting all of its best technologies under the umbrella of its most famous name on a vehicle that will compete in the largest part of the market. It's no longer the Evo as you knew it, but it's definitely an Evolution. Related Video:

Mitsubishi teases next-generation Triton small pickup truck

Mon, Sep 17 2018

Though Mitsubishi stopped selling pickup trucks in the U.S. in the '90s, the company never stopped selling them overseas. The Triton, or L200 as it's sometimes called, is in its fifth generation, which was introduced in 2014. Now it seems a sixth generation is on the way, as the company released a low-resolution teaser image of the latest pickup. It features many styling cues from recent Mitsubishi production and concept vehicles. It also probably isn't coming to America, but the odds of a U.S.-spec may actually be better than you might think. The teaser gives us a pretty good look at the new truck, despite the image quality and lighting. It has the "Dynamic Shield" front end, which is pulled straight from current models such as the Eclipse Cross and Outlander. The aggressive shape looks good on this larger body, as it's a little better proportioned when spread across the greater surface area. It looks like the whole body is sharp and angular to match it. But it's still definitely a conventional-looking pickup truck. Since this will be sold in many overseas markets where traditional trucks with traditional off-road capability is necessary, this will undoubtedly be a body-on-frame pickup with part-time selectable four-wheel drive. This is how the current model is constructed. And like the current model, there will likely be a turbocharged diesel four-cylinder available in many parts of the world. There's not much of a chance the new Triton will come to the U.S., but it's also not a 0-percent chance. The small truck market is strong right now, with the Toyota Tacoma and the combined Colorado/Canyon twins selling in six-figure numbers each year. It's strong enough that Ford has seen fit to finally bring the Ranger back to America, and for rumors to run rampant that FCA might reenter the fray with a Ram-badged truck under the fullsize 1500. Mitsubishi's U.S. dealers have also said they really want a pickup truck to sell. Granted, there are still the issues of passing emissions and safety regulations, and finding a way to deal with the Chicken Tax. So there's certainly opportunity here for Mitsubishi, but not without some difficulty. Related Video:
